A quiet location and a nice building. Rooms have thin walls and you can easily hear what is going on the neighbouring room. Breakfast of low quality and not consistent with four stars.
The back terrace is lovely for breakfast....the view is the orange grove. You have the option of having dinner with all the guests in the kitchen. Trigona is family run and the mother loves to cook typical Italian home cooking. The wine provided was excellent. We were locked in the bedroom when the key failed ! The immediately called a locksmith and all was well :) Now it is just a funny memory.
Peaceful location, considerate staff, bountiful breakfast in a pretty setting.
The couple running this B&B were extremely nice, though no English was spoken! The food was outstanding and the room mostly quiet - when the Nona in the next room wasn't on her cell phone!
Traditional old atmospheric farmhouse/villa, large pleasant room, lovely welcome, friendly atmosphere, combined with excellent traditional breakfast, dinner+ wine, informative about area, book lending, great value for money
I loved the staff. The food was excellent. Having meals with Senora Trigona and Angela. Room 1 was fantastic. Grounds great. My experience was over the top. Would go back in an moment.
Friendly, attentive, english speaking hostess. Cosy, warm atmosphere. Benevolent staff. Substantial and well -prepared food ( for a reasonable price).
Traditional feel of the villa. Very good selection and quality of food served for dinner and breakfast by Angela. The computer in the lounge being set to play various popular music (regardless of what it was), which rather spolied the quiet atmosphere.
Good location on the outskirts of Piazza Armerina. Beautiful traditional Sicilian country house with original antique furniture. Delightful owners and excellent local cuisine. A wonderful experience.
Excellent, lovely people, meal times a most enjoyable experience Nothing, I liked it all
The hotel provided an excellent overnight stop on route from Palermo to Ragusa. It's central location was ideal for our short tay.
The quality of the hotel seems good if we consider its room fee. The condition of the facilities were not good. The room was not well maitained (e.g.breakdown of the lighting) .
This hotel was in a good position near the top of the town. The views from the rooms and breakfast room were terrific. The rooms were large but very basic. Our bathroom was small with the tiniest shower. One room we were taken to smelt damp but they did change us to another.
Very friendly personnel, the room was sufficiently large and clean, nice view over the town, very good bed, parking next to the entrance, good breakfast, overall well recommendable Well, the bathroom equipment was a little antique and partly broken (but it was clean!). Also, the statement in the description that "A variety of restaurants are close to the Grande Albergo Sicilia" is quite optimistic (but a very good restaurant was recommended by the porter).
We loved this hotel. The location is excellent, the room was wonderful with a great view. There was a good selection at breakfast on the panoramic terrace. Enna is a lovely town and this is the perfect base to explore it from.
the location, very central although it might be a bit tricky to find your way the first time if you are driving. Staff very friendly; kept our bags all day as we were leaving late in the afternoon. Spacious, airy and very clean room. good b'fast no
Friendly reception girl. When I arrived on Sunday, nobody was present. Only note at the outdoor, with phone number which to call.
Very nice hotel, access Difficult to access due to narrow streets.Waiter picked his nosed before serving us.
Warm, comfortable. Location central for seeing sites location, to reach by car is difficult. Needed help of police to find it. Once there, very little parking. Need nerves of steel to negotiate the very narrow streets. Breakfast was limited for choice. It was the end of season
The staff was very friendly and spoke English very well. They had a problem with the room we had booked originally and prepared another one for us with a baby cot free of charge. It is very complicated to find the hotel. You have to go through a very narrow street to find it. It is behind a cinema, so there is parking, but only after the cinema closes. The breakfast was poor. The room was okay, but the heating did not work and it was a bit cold. Overall, not worth the price. I think it is too expensive.
Lovely hotel, breakfast adequate, Staff never smilled
This is the funniest hotel I ever saw. All rooms are decorated in different styles and have very characteristic design. It is close to one of the major attractions in Sicily, the Roman villa di Casale. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, although continental.
A very unique hotel, featuring lots of original art on its walls that you can buy, if interested. It seems a little strange to find such a place in a small town. The bed was very comfortable (not always true in Italian hotels). They serve a very nice breakfast as well. The staff were very nice, but note they speak very little english, so brush up on your Italian before you go!
I'm very impressed by the hotel. It's located right in the center of city. It has cool, very interesting design. Rooms were clean and very well equipped. The staff showed us three different available rooms so we had a chance to choose. This hotel definitely gives outstanding value for money. We didn't have a breakfast, so I cannot talk on this. And of course when I go next time to this city, I'll stay in Art Hotel again! Good luck!
i appreciate the location just in the city center and that it is a residence not an hotel ( you have your key to go in an out when the reception is not working : no fix time) breakfast of very bad quality
Great Location, We were given the choice of two rooms and preferred the standard room with cathedral view. I would recommend for a night or two.
Very good location opposite Duomo. Very interesting decor in our room.
The staff were lovely and the rooms were unique (we were shown two and made our own choice). We chose a room called Fluidity that had a round bed, a sofa that looked like red lips, a chair made of cardboard and a floor that had liquid tiles which changed as you stepped on them. So far so good. But there was no place to relax and read a book--the lips sofa is as hard as a rock and the bed had no headboard. So while the room looked good, it was probably the least comfortable hotel room we have ever stayed in! The view of the cathedral was wonderful. Breakfast was fine. The artwork around the hotel was interesting. The location was perfect for visiting the Imperial Roman Villa. Just the fact that there was no place to relax and read a book in the room. If we had wanted to watch the television, I don't know how we could have unless we sat bolt upright on the bed. My suggestion would be to add a comfortable chair or headboard to that room.
Amazing hotel, totally value for money! It's one of the few times where the hotel itself is a true experience. The only minor default was that the breakfast was a bit poor. But still it's a great hotel to stay in.
Extaordinary design and decoration. Good position at the top of the town.
The design of the rooms in the hotel is artictic, unique and superb. As owner explained to us, he has engaged artists to design each room, and rooms are really different from each other, surprising and very artistic design. me and my company really liked it. The premises itself is modern, hotel has elavator and dining room is on the top floor with the view on the cathedral and, on the other side, towards the hills (over the town-roofs..lovely) - the beautiful cathedral at fron of the hotel...has lovely and laud bells that ring every 15 minutes. It can be a bit disturbing when falling a sleep and early in the morning. (good for early-wake-up).
I liked the hotel staff and the services they have offered us. N/A
This hotel packed a punch, very happy with accommodation , value for money and staff where very accommodating , and in heart of city. Definetly a surprise package.
