Pros. Clean and modern rooms, close to public transportation (Skytrain and buses). Lots of food in the area. Staff was excellent from front concierge to the maid service. Pool and gym were nice, public restrooms were well maintained in the fitness area and they provide extra towels.
Cons. No safe or microwave in the room and no breakfast included. We would have liked at least one kids channel (Disney/Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network). The majority was news or movie channels which is difficult to censor for children.
Pros. The location i believe is great. Not in downtown, but in Vancouver center. Which was great for us. Just a 5 minute walk to the nearest sky train station. And if you dont want to walk, there's a bus station across the street that takes you to that station. The staff was welcoming and informative. Really helpful and kind. All deserve mentioning, but i dont know all the names. Just Ernand, he was the first face we saw at check in and he made us feel like home. His service to us was a great start to our honeymoon. Great Hotel.
Pros. Close proximity to hospital. Fast room service. Many nearby options for coffee, good restaurants, etc. Very comfortable rooms. Have stayed twice recently to be near the hospital, and I hope to have more time on my next visit for exploring on foot. I will also try the train to/from the airport next time as I am reading from other reviewers that the Broadway station is very close to the hotel.
