It was near the city center and train station. Some (not all) of the staff were arrogant. the hotel website is much nicer than the actual hotel. overall, not impressed. I thought it should have been 50 euros maximum for a double room, not 80.
Location was good. Saff was accommadating rooms clean and OK
nice staff, good breakfast
Breakfast. We arrived earlier and could get in the room already before 2 o'clock.
Good location near train station and their restaurant was actually pretty good (even if it was located in their other premises nearby)
close to centre too basic and no reception in the actual building
The atmosphere was excellent and the genuine concern of the staff. Breakfast was very good with a variety of food on offer. Excellent value for money and the rooms were wonderful.
Very Comfortable and value for money with good customer services. Nothing really to be sincere.
The staff were very polite and helpful. The proximity to the railway station and the town is brilliant. That you have to pay extra if you want to use the Sauna.
air conditioned room with a nice balcony
Tricky to find we tried to walk from railway - not the best idea! once there we used a local bus to get into centre, these were great on time, quick and easy to use. The hotel was very clean and its decor was lovely. There was ample choice for breakfast. A very nice hotel which I would definitely visit again - it also had a free drop off and pick service for clients visiting the opera!
Small garden with swimming pool helped us to relax and stay cool in a very hot week
The restaurant staff was very friendly and served us a wonderful meal, even though we arrived right at their closing time. The front desk was helpful, housekeeping very good. The bathroom was gorgeous with soaking tub. We had a deluxe room - I have no idea what the standard rooms look like. The shuttle to the Opera was nice to have as was the outdoor pool and a/c. I think it is overpriced. It was also inconveniently located. We had to take cabs instead of being able to walk into town. I would stay there again, but only if we could get a much reduced room rate.
stuff, breakfast, spa maybe a little far from center
The S.p.a. area is perfect! The rooms look very "old" and quite noising especially if they are facing on the 2 streets sides of the hotel.
The bathroom and the shuttle bus
Clean and functional hotel with outdoor sitting groups (and pool), ordinary good service - breakfast room was spacy and well kept and buffet breakfast was quite good - location a little out of city centre. Recommendable place. Italian TV channels only / no int'l news channels.
the spa was wonderful, the bus to the arena great, lovely hotel the beds were terribly uncomfortable
TV programmes were only in Italian or Spanish. I do not speak those languages.
The economy room is the cheapest and old. It felt like a motel 6. In the future I would book a deluxe or superior room for more money. There's a free shuttle to the Arena. I was bit 7 times by a bug in the economy room. I moved to a deluxe room. It was like day and night. The photos should match the room so that you aren't tricked upon arrival.
Bike rent :) lol it took just 10 min on bike to get to the city centre, while by walk it takes about half an hour Everything was good
Nice staff with good levels of english. Easy 15 minute walk to the city centre and the train/bus station. Internal noise levels in the mornings from other guests and the cleaning staff.
Great value for money. Very friendly staff. Private parking. The walk to the city centre of Verona (app.+ 20 minutes) leads you along a not so inspiring road.
The breakfast The location and the fact that there was no public traffic to the center
The locaiton is fine and around 15 minutes walk from the station porta nueva. The charge for WIFI is reasonable, 1euro for 30 minutes and 5 for one day. The rental of bike is great. 2 euro for 3 hours and the riding of bicycle around the beautiful city is really joyful. The room I like faces the street. The double layer of window helps reduce the outside noise a lot, but for a sensive sleeper, it might be a problem and it's better to tell the hotel to arrange for a room which doesn't face the street.
The breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. The location is not so good, 10 EUR by taxi from the railway station to the Hotel and 10 EUR by taxi from the hotel to the city center. It's noisy when you have a room with a 'street view'.
very nice hotel staffs, clean & comfort room, fairly good restaurant
Close to central station, 3-star nicely reflect what we have got. Very silent even though the hotel overlooks a busy road. Too hard pillows. It was also very hot in the room since it was no possibility to regulate the central heater.
Peace and quiet
Not so much. It's little too far for walking to hotel from train station. Almost no public transportation connected. The facilities are very old. Not showing any specialty for the beautiful city, Verona.
