A'Zambezi River Lodge is a beautiful property nestled perfectly between reserve forests and the Zambezi River, offering a serene retreat. The property's lush green surroundings, resident animals (Sebastian the hippo, birds, boars) complemented by stunning gardens, offer an abundance of natural beauty, inviting leisurely strolls and serene moments by the river. The resort is pleasantly distanced from the main town centre, offering a tranquil setting while still conveniently reachable with just a brief 10-minute drive. One of the standout features is the hotel's complimentary shuttles to the town and Victoria Falls, providing both convenience and savings for guests seeking a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle.

The hotel's restaurant service could be improved for quicker and more efficient dining experiences. It would greatly benefit from a well-functioning coffee machine and an expanded range of vegetarian options on the menu, particularly considering offerings like the sunset cruise, providing a more inclusive dining experience for all guests.

The rooms are comfortable, the wifi is good, the setting is lovely and the restaurant and room service is good. I especially appreciated the pool which was a welcome relief in the hot weather.

The shuttle pick up from the airport and shuttle service to the rainforest was good. The shuttle service to the Airport was wonderful. The driver chauffer was good. Mr Stanley Nyandoro. He gave us a first class service.

The property is located right on the banks of the Zambezi river. It has a lovely green lawn, crystal blue pool and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is close to all the tourist attractions and the staff is really friendly and always willing to help.
