Pros. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was very near the airport, which suited me, but not the town. There was a massage shop on site and a pool, which looked clean enough.
Cons. The hotel in general is basic, and I do feel it is overpriced, especially for Laos. The staff barely spoke a word of english. They were friendly, but very slow and difficult to find at times. The internet service was unreliable, but the worst thing was that the electricity cut out completely half way through the day. No air-con or fans were working, and the toilet didn't even flush. The staff had no idea when they would be reconnected. I had no option but to leave and decided to go to the airport early, which was hot and turned out not to have wifi either. Not a lot of fun.
