Pros: From the moment we arrived we were enthralled. The staff in reception were amazing - clearly proud of their beautiful hotel. Gave us a tour of the building, told us the history and the vision behind the modernisation into the stunning hotel it now each. Every, coffee, drink, meal and request was delivered with the best customer service we have experience in a long, long time. We do visit a fair number of hotels so have high standards and have been to a good number of shambolic places too! The room was beautiful, large, airy with a fabulous en-suite. The food was exemplary, and we were given a tour of the kitchen by the chef, after service with not a hint of just wanting to get home. I had a massage which was strong and utterly relaxing. The room had walls of the original building glassed in an dimly lit. It was a wonderful, relaxing space for a spa treatment. Location just perfect. Right in the middle of the old town. The hotel gave us map and recommended sights to see, the best museums and places to eat. The hotel is a credit to the town and the country. We would not hesitate to go back and visit this undiscovered country.

After several hours, they come to us and suggest to change the room for us in which it's already midnight and at the very beginning, the staff told us all rooms are occupied. Cons: Upon arrival we asked to park the car and unload our bags. The bell hop rudely told us that we are not allowed to park there and would not even let us explain that we just wanted to unload and then would move the car. When we got to the check in desk we asked about an airport shuttle as displayed as an amenity on the website. I was then informed that we could book a taxi for 15 euro. We declined and booked our own for 6 euro.

Pros: It was a joy to step into this hotel and find an oasis of calm and artistic decor reflecting the name of Art Moon Garden. All staff were exceptionally helpful going out of their way to provide information and assistance to enjoy Vilnius and its environs. At breakfast, apart from the very good food and coffee the atmosphere was delightful with great music and nature scenes showing on a screen.

Cot for a baby was quite uncomfortable, it had uneven mattress.

Cons: NOISY - local restaurants located under hotel (Meat Lovers and Cozy) use the entrance as a place to smoke - so if you are unfortunate enough to be there when windows need to be open for circulation - it is not comfortable at all. There is also a lot of people driving by trying to "impress" those at the bars - as a result - motorcycles, cars with loud exhausts. Perhaps the courtyard side is better - I cannot assess.
The hotel could have a bit more flexibility with regards to extending a room stay. We had to pay to keep our room for an extra hour before catching our flight (extended from 12:00 to 13:00). You'd think that being able to do this without worrying about your tablet/PC, etc. would be easier than having a student explain - "No can do - we have rules!"
Breakfast was at another location - 4 minute walk in a "5 Star Hotel" - well only 5 Stars if they don't keep running out of food. Their coffee was weak (similar to the US coffee that resembles tea) and if you want an espresso - get out Euro 2,50 for one.

The historic building (ex-monastery) is wonderful and it is not damaged by modern/fancy interior and artificial things. Pure classics. Breakfast excellent, including coffee but breakfast room it self is impressive. Free parking on closed area. I had single room but rooms also for 2,3 ,4 persons. Pros: This is amazing place - in very center of old city but very silent and relaxing area. The hotel is very simple with only basic facilities but that is the best! This is the place for relaxing, enjoying silence and thinking after long/busy day. Spacious public areas, smiling personnel, clean and warm premises. Happy to come back on evening. The historic building (ex-monastery) is wonderful and it is not damaged by modern/fancy interior and artificial things. Pure classics. Breakfast excellent, including coffee but breakfast room it self is impressive. Free parking on closed area. I had single room but rooms also for 2,3 ,4 persons. Definitely will come back when in Vilnius. Message to hotel - please do not change and stay as you are, that is a main advantage!

Pros: What a really lovely hotel! Clean, comfortable, quiet and on the edge of the old town so within easy walking distance of the main sights plus bus and rail stations. It far exceeded our expectations and we would certainly recommend it. Many thanks to the staff who were very kind and helpful. A good choice for breakfast, and no music or tv blaring in the background unlike some hotels we stayed in. Coffee was good!

Pros: It's right beside the Gates of Dawn, an excellent location to explore Old Town Vilnius. The staff is very pleasant and informative. The breakfast is substantial with great variety. It is also historically interesting, having been a convent/monastery for most of its life. I have stayed there six times over the years, and would again without a moment's thought. It is just a very pleasant, unassuming place to stay!

Pros: Very cozy and nice hotel. We slept so well. The room at the top was really quiet and pillows best I have ever had in a hotel. Bath room with shower was big. The location of Kupas Angel is perfect as there are nice restaurants and cafes in the same street, which is very narrow middle age like. Breakfast was good, many things, fruit, good coffee, tasty little breads and even porridge. Breakfast room and the hotel is nicely decorated.

Cons: Parking is terrible due to being in a middle of Old Town. Streets nearby are the most expensive area with 2.5€ per hour regardless of day/night. Hotel provides parking space for 10€ a day in an underground parking lot about ten minutes away (walking, car can take even more to get there/from there). Anyway location nullify parking issues.

Cons: Unfortunately, the rooms were very old! Furniture are absolutely obsolete/ out of date for a brand such as Raddison Blu. Bed was not comfortable, old school bed which is moving and not attached to the bed head. Management promised renovation and refurbishment to the rooms will take place very soon, which i really hope for, excellent hotel needs superior rooms, especially for the asking price per night.

Cons: In theory, the reception closes at 8pm. When I emailed the property informing that we may arrive around 20:30, they said that if we wanted access to the self check in instructions we needed to pay one extra night (!!!) After a couple emails back and forth they agreed on sending the instructions. Once there, we realised there is no one -ever- at the reception. Just a number you can call (but no phone to do so whatsoever). So it’s not like you have any other option other than check in, no idea why our arrival time would affect the SELF check in so much that they would want us to pay an extra night as fee!! When booking we marked the option for a double bed, but got a VERY SMALL twin room instead. The walls are paper thin, so we could hear absolutely everything happening at the room besides. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. When we emailed the property about it they said that it must be coming from the street, and didn’t offer any solution. They charge a €150 fine for smoking in the room, so if you want to smoke there, just tell them when you check out that “the smell must be coming from the street” XD

Cons: The man with the beard was INCREDIBLY rude to me during our stay. We pulled up in our rental car late afternoon, and temporarily pulled off the street to find out where to park. I went in the reception to inquire where we could park the car to get it off the street before we got a ticket. The bearded man was dealing with a customer, and I waited for him to finish his explanation he was giving before asking him a quick question of "where could I park the car? It's on the street". He was incredibly rude and barked that he was in the middle of something and I'd just have to wait and that I didn't deserve to have a quick question answered. There was another couple in line behind the couple he was checking in, and they were Then he told me there is a garage out back but I'd have to pay for parking first before I could park. So, I had to check in first, pay a parking fee with my car on the street before he would give me the time of day. He never apologized for his RUDE behavior, but continued to "punish" me throughout our stay. When we left the hotel to go out, we had to wait in line again for him to open the gate, and when we returned and parked in the parking lot, he made me get out of the car, and psychically go into the hotel to ask him to open the gate. This happened multiple times. He had a blonde woman who was his coworker, and when she was working the desk, she opened the gate for us without begging since she could CLEARLY see it on the closed circuit monitor. She told me there was no need to ask to open the gate, since it was obvious when we were trying to get in our out. It was then I told her about her incredibly rude coworker, she apologized for his behavior and indicated that he could be rude and told me the hotel was understaffed and that he was "under a lot of pressure and tired", so that's why he was more rude than usual.

The walls of the room are sloping, so you can not move about it freely, but rather in a stooped position so as not to hit your head. The window is quite high in the ceiling, which makes the room dark and gives the impression of a cage. I ordered a wake-up call but nobody came.

Cons: The room I was providing was on the ground floor and i could breeze all the humidity (in August) and later when it was time to sleep I discovered that all the bed is wet because of this. So I didn’t enjoy my sleep at all. The ground floor also means your window is right on the level of smb‘ feet so it’s pretty noisy as well. Not sure about the other rooms. Maybe it was the only one with such problems. But as I had only 4 hours to rest before the flight for me was not relaxing.

Cons: The hotel's plumbing needs to be fixed. We kept waking up up all night to loud gurgling sounds coming from a sink or a toilet in a neighbor rooms. In the morning, we discovered that our shower tub was full of disgusting, smelly brown goo. When we informed the front desk, we were told that it was not possible to move to another room until 2 p.m. Throughout the whole ordeal, none of the managers came out to apologize; it seemed like they are well aware of the problem but do not wish to face it. When we finally got a new room, we were not able to use the bathroom because of its horrendous odor - it smelled like the dirtiest public bathroom. The walls showed staines from previous leakage problems.

Cons: It was very VERY cold on the premises (including the shower) and even though I slept under two blankets still the room and the hall were just... Too chilly. I mean it's Autumn already and there should be some heating at least! Maybe an electric heater would help... I've actually caught a cold because of that.

Cons: The bath in the bathroom didn’t have a curtain and therefore it wasn’t comfortable to take a shower. The bathtub is equipped with a massage mechanism but when I turned it on the pieces of dirt started to come out of the jets.

Cons: The service during our stay was bad. Repairs need to be hold in the room while cleaniness is not an asset either. Plus the second day of our stay (6-17 C degrees) the owner(s) turned off the central heating completely and we were really cold. Since there was no one at the apartments hotel I initially called on the phone provided but it was out of service. So then I sent an email to which the response I got was that the day was warm enough to turn the heating off....Totally unprofessional.

Cons: It says 24 hour front desk, but not once in my 3 night stay did i see a single staff member. The rooms were not touched between nights, i had to get my own new towels and toilet paper from some cabinets outside my room. Wifi was extremely poor, it connected and disconnected every 3-4 minutes.

The place was dirty, noisy, beds were rubbish and creaked every time someone moved or breathed. Also they continuously tried to gouge extra money from me and from others under very dubious reasoning, especially as they had to downgrade me to a large room and downgrade the other group to sleeping in a common area, which resulted in that common area being unavailable for the other people who had paid to use it. Rotten brazen business practise... avoid this place at all costs. As another guest said to me... This is a lousy hostel.

Cons: 1. Rooms are small and cramped - maybe there are too many beds in them. 2. The double-deck beds are insecure - they are rickety and shaking dangerously when you are on the upper deck. If one person moves in the bed, the other person is being shaked as well. 3. The bed linen they give are worn out and torn in some places. 4. The towel costs extra 1.5 Eur. 5. I had reserved a bed for two nights. After the first night, right from the early morning I left the hostel and was absent during the day. In the evening, when I returned to the hostel I learned that my room was changed to another one without asking my agreement. I found my stuff in a rubbish bin! When I was already lying in the bed in the new room I was called out to the reception and was asked to pay extra because my room was changed from an 8-bed room to a 4-bed room.

Cons: I did not like that the reception lady cheated me. When I booked twin room, all city taxes were included in the price. And I showed this proof to reception lady. But she took 2 Euros for city taxes (we were two persons) which actually have already been included. Secondly, each towel costs 1,50 Euros. It is first time I see that hostel or hotel takes money for towels. I stayed in many hostels of different countries before but they have never and ever charged money for towels. It is a must for every hostel or hotel, and must be for free! Thirdly, it is not question about money, 2 Euros is not a big thing! But it is question of honesty and dignity! I will never come to this hostel again and I do not recommend you this place for staying, dear tourists!
