Comfortable, clean rooms are great! Very helpful & friendly staff. Great location and staff. Easy access and very clean. The room was of recent construction and nicely appointed with rustic salvage pine. It was clean and well maintained. Staff attention and responsiveness. AC working good Quietly situated. Clean room. Staff was super accommodating. Fairly new, modern, clean, and at a great location within easy walking distance to breakfast and dinner restaurants. Return guests. Inn is clean, kitchenette suite has all you need to prepare meals. Not fancy but very suitable. The room was comfortable and roomy. Loved the easy chair!!!! Great room. Nice and quiet. Everything worked like it should. Location & cleanliness. Best property in Walden. Also the Wi-Fi was good enough for Teams video meetings. .close to everything. Two gas stations . Property was clean and matched the pictures on the website. Clean and in good shape. Staff was nice and helpful. The hot tub. The motel's location was convenient to all the restaurants in town. Our room was spacious, with two beds, table with chairs, TV, refrigerator, microwave. There was plenty of room for luggage. When we notified a staff member that a light bulb had burned out, she brought a replacement right away. Clean modern and comfortable for such a small town. It was a convenient and economical place to stay for our needs. You could hear your neighbors if they were banging around, which sometimes they were, nothing obnoxious, just additional noise. Rooms and location. Perfect for birders who are comming to see the Greater Sage Grouse LEK. Had a problem with stairs ther switched us to a ground floor room immediately. No problem. We stayed in the new section and it was comfortable and well appointed.we were only there one night and it fit the bill. Quiet, clean. It had a hot tube.

Minor things like hand towel rack and ancient coffee maker. Parking was a little cramped, but manageable. I wish the hotel had a breakfast bar but understand the consideration to other local businesses. Breakfast included would have been great. Location of the office was a little confusing, it was behind a fence, separated from one of the buildings in conjunction with the entire hotel. The lady who checked me in did not listen to or honor my request to be assigned a quiet room on the upper floor even though I specifically requested that she do so. She said she would not put anyone in the unoccupied (at the time of checkin) room above mine on the upper floor. This did not happen. The person in that upper room stomped all over the room for a long time, including up until I attempted go to sleep. At check out, the clerk said you should have called us. This was too late and ineffective as the damage has already been done. The check out clerk also offered nothing to make amends. Wifi was weak in my room, which hampered getting work done. The room description did ABSOLUTELY not match with reality. Several descriptions in Booking.com room description were different from reality. We informed owner, he had a lot of reasons why, but still it does not match...... Check in: There is an enormous list of "don'ts". Not exactly welcoming. Fines for almost everything (even for the way you park on the enormous parking places). Room much smaller than described Too expensive for this "middle of nowhere" location and rather basic room (without breakfast). Takes 3% extra if you pay by card (and how can I NOT pay by car through booking.com????) No breakfast. Office hard to find due to being across the parking lot. Expensive in comparison to other hotels that seem to offer more and cheaper. Bed uncomfortable, sheet rough and no hot water in morning. Considering this was supposed to be a deluxe room I found that the sink area and the bathroom were cramped. The coffee maker did not have enough cream or coffee. It was placed in the cramped sink. There was true facial tissue in the bathroom. Have more coffee and creamers. No facial tissue in room. No hairdryer in room. Bathroom and basin very cramped. the bed was uncomfortable, the sheets were dirty (an actual crusty blob on the bottom sheet) the bathroom was dirty. The manager or clerk was quite rude asking us to use only one parking spot per room for our motorcycles. Understandable if they were full. The whole lot remained almost empty all night. Could have been a bit less belligerent when asking us to move our bikes. Kitchen supplies/utensils were quite spartan, e.g., no paper towels, no can opener. Lack of flexibility in check-out time - I need 12PM to complete an on-line meeting and I was told 11AM was the absolute latest possible. I realize this is not a property that is normally used for business. But in situations where business people do reserve a room, more flexibility would be helpful. Bed is sooooooooooooo hard. Carpets look very old and dingy in the "new building" not a good look for them. No breakfast. The beds were too soft and lumpy. The pillows are way too hard. In fact, my wife and I went to the Family Dollar and bought two new pillows so we could sleep better the second night. Room was cold upon arrival & beds were uncomfortable. Didn't sleep well. Anywhere else and it would be a $70 a night room at best . Very pricy for what you get . If the price was better I would rate it higher but just can’t do it at $136 a night for what you get.
