9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for viewing the black necked crane. Great panormaic views from the rooms, the restaurant and the open viewing area. Great food and hospitality. Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms.
Cons: Hot water wasn't working. But I guess that could be fixed.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Almost nothing except that the staff was polite. The view from the dining hall.
Cons: This property is very ill maintained. It’s a tiny cottage, the rooms are very stuffy and not at all like in the pictures. The bathroom did not have amenities in it and was not even clean. It was a very uncomfortable stay. The food also was sub par. I would not want to come back here.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff is friendly and professional and are the only hotel staff throughout our trip who helped us haul our luggage back to our vehicle after checking out. That was kind and really helpful. Food was served well.
Cons: We mentioned during the booking to give us a room with the valley view but the staff provided rooms on first come first serve basis. I do not see the point of pre-booking if the rooms are allocated first come first serve basis. Disappointed to not see the valley from the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very good, food was nice.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and food was great. We got best view of the valley from the room and restaurant in the morning.
Cons: No prior communication - When we reached there it was completely dark and we thought the property is closed. We were about to leave the property as there was no sign of human being neither lights. After knocking many time, our driver had to go down and searched for the supervisor who wasn't informed about the booking. However, they were kind enough to prepare dinner for us. There was no communication from hotel and no response from the given number after trying several time. The number given in doesn't belong to property staff hence the property staff wasn't aware about the booking. I felt very afraid while checking in with family as there was no one . Most of the staffs were available next day morning.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location is absolutely stunning! Since it’s still winters here the scenery was out of the world even if the cranes season is over. The lodge is really clean and the rooms are gorgeous. It’s made in the traditional Bhutanese style and there are bukharis- traditional Bhutanese fireplaces- in each rooms along with electrical heaters. It was really cosy at night!
Cons: First the rooms are very very poorly lit. Almost impossible to see things once the sun sets. However this wasn’t the worst part! The staff here was by far the rudest we have encountered in our one week’s trip to Bhutan. We were first told by one male staff member that there is complimentary tea/ coffee, when we asked another staff member for the same we were very rudely told that it’s not for bookings and we would need to pay for it. Extremely off putting behaviour! However this wasn’t the end of it. In the morning, when we asked for the bill it took them at least half an hour to prepare the same. Also please refrain from ordering any Indian food. It was really terrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Dewachen hotel. We stayed in the Dewachen for 2 days and we had an amazing stay. The hotel is located in the Phobjika valley. You will get great mountain views from the hotel. Rooms: We booked a standard room which is good for 2 adults. The rooms are amazing with a good bed and blankets(this is important as the temperature goes down to 1degree in the nights). The rooms are clean with wooden floor and storages. There are ample plug points for charging. The room is very spacious as well. Service: The service here is impeccable and the front desk is always responsive. The restaurant service is good as well. Food: The food here is very decent. In general, the food is expensive in Bhutan as they import all the cereals, pulses from India. The food is a little expensive here. We spent around 600-700 for a regular dinner on daily basis and around 300-400 for breakfast. Conclusion: We had an amazing 2 day stay here. We highly recommend Dewachen Hotel to people who want to stay in Phobjika.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel
Cons: Little expensive food. Agreed its remotely located .
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is good, room was big & nice.
Cons: Food preparation and menu options were strictly ok. WiFi did not work throughout the stay. The driver too complained about his stay & food as well. This was not up to Bhutanese standards as usually the food & driver's stay/food are good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was superb
7.5 Good
Pros: I really liked the hospitality and the view from the resort.
Cons: The property was really huge for a place like phobjikha. But since it's very far from the city, unavailability of items like telephone, tv, and food items like curd and some Vegetables were an issue. Because of which one might question the value for money aspect.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The river view is very nice from the balcony.
Cons: When we searched for Punakha, gave this hotel option eventhough this is 40 min away from Punakha town. In fact this hotel is in Wangdoe district for which technically Punakha permit is not sufficient. The hotel is in the middle of no where, next to the main highway. The property is rather small with a small open area.
