5.8 Okay
Pros: view
Cons: overall experience
7.1 Good
Cons: No shower gel , or shampoo, only 1 soap hand wash between toilet and bathroom. We were told this was standard. We were instructed to be at a certain location for drinks at 7.30 to meet fellow guests before dinner at 8. This being the case the drinks should be provided, not as we found having to be purchased at the bar.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Foods were correct and tasty, and at least the dining room was warm. The guests and the staff, maybe the owner / manager had the breakfast and dinner together.
Cons: Room 11 for 150 € is a shame. A cold hole without windows in a hidden corner of the Guest Farm. The contrast between Ongava Lodge where we stopped just before the Waterberg Guest Farm was dramatic. When I complained at the reception the guy just was smiling w/o any excuse. The safari offered by the reception in fact could be very good program, but in our case turned into a tragicomedy. The first program point, The Cheetah Conservation is a very interesting place close to Otjiwarongo, but we stayed there too long, because we spent almost one hour at the buffet. Then back to the Guest Farm, in the lack of time (we spent it unnecessarily in the buffet) the driver stopped only if he wanted, but never when we asked him. All in all, during our really brigthening round trip in Namibia, this place was definitely disappointing, not only just because of the price, but because of the impersonal behavior of the entire staff.
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The owners have created a family atmosphere which does help make the stay more friendly and welcoming. The views from the communal area were lovely. This property is reasonably close to the Waterberg Plateau Park. Gathering around a fire in the evening before dinner was a good idea as helped fellow guests to socialise.
Cons: We were both disappointed with the size and features of the bedroom compared to other properties that we stayed at in Namibia. The price of the room, again compared to other places, was expensive in our view for what we had. The Waterberg Plateau Park would be a better option if travellers need to be in the area as they had double rooms with air conditioning with better features and even private chalets at a more competitive price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful farm, great location. Great staff.Food fabulous!
Cons: Would have been nice to have met the owners, it was more like a hotel than a guest farm.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Owners and staff were superb hosts
Cons: Second room allocated comfortable and perfectly adequate but due some refurbishment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After Etosha is felt good to get out of the dust into exceptionally neat and private rooms with the most amazing views of Waterberg. Food was delicious and the hike to the top of the mountain a must for the great view and to get some exercise after spending many days in the car watching wildlife
Cons: Some guests may not enjoy the lack of drapes or blinds but thankfully you are completely private surrounded by bush and the sun rose late. A hairdryer and a more conventional kettle may be good additions
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff outlook food rooms
Cons: Beautiful magnificent outlook but not quite Africa. Very designer which many may appreciate

7.1 Good
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Staff is not friendly. After checkout and leaving, we found that staff added few things to final price which we don't order
5.0 Okay
Pros: The position is amazing. The staff was not so kind and it did not give us any informations about the trip around. They did not know anything! So strange .... Food was good.
Cons: The staff that did not know anything about the activities around
9.2 Excellent
Pros: No surcharge for a solo traveler (I stayed in Valley lodge). Good food. Very spacious canvas chalet. Good service. Nice scenery. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Plunge pool. Great hiking. Spring water. All good.
Cons: The hikes are good, really nice to be able to stretch those legs! But I didn't see a lot of game. The one kudu I caught a glimpse off, was very scared and dashed away, very different behaviour from the NPs. The dinner did provide kudu meat every night (3x), though, maybe there is a correlation... The tent/chalets are basic, but very spacious.
7.5 Good
Pros: Remote, detached from the world.
Cons: Hot water for shower, they heat it with wood, but its morde handwarm.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We deeply enjoyed the game drive around the property where we encountered several white rhinos. Staff is welcoming.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful area with some excellent self-guided walks. The sunrise and sunset over the plateau edge that surrounds the Wilderness Lodge and changing the colour of the sandstone was spectacular. Very hospitable, friendly and helpful staff. The bedroom was really comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with warm duvets for the coolish nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and great layout of the chalets. The walking trials are great!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is just great from the lodges as well as from the restaurant. I joined the rhino game drive with I highly recommend.
Cons: At the entrance they didn’t have the name on the list and I was send two times back between the Plateu Park and the Wilderness Lodge. The names are might probably a bit missleading.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the eco chalets which were absolutely lovely with a stunning view. The rhino game drive was incredible and we enjoyed the hiking as well. The staff were absolutely superb and made us feel welcome.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The guy at the structure is really nice with a great desire to work. Dinner was really good.
Cons: Be more specific, do not write "econo lodge" but "tented camp". More a camping than a "lodge". Quality price is not sufficient. Dinner and breakfast at cold, the fire was not sufficient to heat up the restaurant, people were just eating fast and running to the bedroom. Please highlight more in detail the difference between the three sites (valley, wilderness lodge an plateau) since it is not crystal clear the difference in the description and photos.
