Pros: The two hosts were excellent and the artistically presented breakfasts. Refer to the picture of our egg breakfast the first morning.
Pros: Perfect hosts.
Pros: I like the way we where welcome
Pros: Great, safe location in an older, nice residential area. Several restaurant choices within walking distance. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The most delicious breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed. Cannot say enough about Ann and Alain, our hosts, who could not have been friendlier and were so very accommodating. They certainly made us feel right at home.
Cons: There really were no issues that we were unhappy about.
Pros: Perfect service: the hosts are a very frriendly couple always available when needed, willing to share advice and open to discussion. They don't impose and sense guests prefer privacy. Breakfast is an excellent experience per se: service is friendly and very attentive, the three plates come very tasty and great care has been given to the presentation of the food. The house is cutely decorated with some antiques and the rooms are comfortable, attractive, cosy and quiet.
Cons: Not staying longer.
Pros: Alain and Ann are wonderful hosts. For those interested in the history of Quebec’s Eastern Townships, Alain is a fountain of knowledge.
Cons: Waterloo doesn’t have the greatest selection of restaurants. If you are travelling on bicycles as we did, be prepared!
Pros: Great hosts!
Cons: Bathroom only had a tub and the room was right beside a shared bathroom so it was noisy.
Pros: Beautiful, pristine, historic home. Every detail attended to. The rooms are beautiful and sparkling tidy and the bedsheets are exquisite. Bathroom was perfectly clean with little details like q-tips, tidily provided. A beautiful breakfast, served in three courses was mouthwatering. We were asked about food preferences, allergies and intolerances multiple times, which showed the hosts' attentive and caring nature.
Cons: Our only disappointment was that we were not staying longer.
Pros: What an incredible gem nestled in the heart of Waterloo in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. We were received by our hosts Ann and Alain as though we were long lost family members. We immediately felt at home. The property is a beautiful, historic home built in 1870 with incredible charm. We were treated to a delicious three course breakfast after a restful night’s sleep. We look forward to returning again.
