Pros. Staff was wonderful! Great location. Nice coffee and lounge areas for sitting with friends. Glitchy old style hotel.
Cons. Bathroom was SMALL in the suite. Limited privacy due to age of the hotel with thin walls and doors that don't seal like more modern hotels...can clearly hear normal conversations in adjoining rooms.
Pros. We loved the charm of the old style hotel. Shared bathrooms were not a problem for us. Do note that the front desk is not 24 hours, but that thr staff were fantastic enough to stay open latefor us. Very convenient to shops and food. About 1 hour from the Grand Canyon. Be warned that route 66 is divided through town.
Cons. Hard tomspot the hotel since it lacks the bright lights of chain hotels. Easier to spot from about 1 block west going on rt 66 east.
