Pros (+) As asked above, it was clean, and the staff were friendly. The spa facilities are very good.
Cons (-) It's advertised as a Country House Hotel; it isn't. The 'Manor House' might once have been one, but it's definitely a conference hotel. There's no sitting room as you'd expect (the bar doesn't really count), and the entire place is set up for large parties - conference or, presumably, touring.
