Pros. This hotel and its staff was incredible. We are from the U.S., and am used to staying at Hilton, JW Marriott and Kimpton hotels, and of all the places we stayed in Croatia, this was my favorite. You are right in the heart of it all, and no other hotel can offer this. If you open your windows at night, you'll hear the live music that plays most nights. There are only maybe 12 rooms, so book out far in advance. They also had the best breakfast...we always buy the breakfast option in our rates for all the hotels on our trip. Staff was exuberant and helpful, and made us feel welcome every time we left and came into the lobby.
Cons. It's in the center of the city, so you have to park a few blocks away, then drag your luggage through the streets to the hotel. No cars allowed on the city streets.
Pros. Good food, great service, nice bed and great bathroom.
Cons. Challenging parking situation, but not unusual for an old town hotel.
