Pros: Location, staff & breakfast.

Cons: The hotel can hardly be rated a 4 star, not a 5 as advertised and marketed. We have booked 2 rooms and have paid USD 220 per night including breakfast per room, but realised that there was no value for this high price paid. House keeping a big issue in this hotel, whereas cleaning level is poor and sub-standard. Bathroom & balcony floors are never cleaned rather just vacuumed (if ever were). Bath towels which presumably are white actually are gray/yellowish and are smelly too. My one year old daughter dropped her drinking cup one day, it rolled close to the edge of bed, and under the bed we have seen/noticed that there were stuff left by the previous room tenants which were never noticed or removed by house keeping ! The same applies for dirty stuff found in unchecked drawers too ! The hotel badly needs refurbishments. Shower curtains are torn, chairs needs re-cushioning and door handles coming off ! This happend with the bathroom door knob which came out on the 1st day of our stay. We called front desk who sent a handyman to repair it. He didn’t really repair it, instead he fixed it temporarily, because it came off again a couple of days after ! For all of the above, we certainly don't recommend this hotel to no one.

Pros: My room was upgraded free of charge by the hotel to a Panoramic room on the 4th floor with a nice view onto the surrounding mountains. The room was spacious, well furnished, well equipped and very clean. A welcoming refreshing lemonade was offered on our arrival The front desk staff (Rabih) was very welcoming and helpful and was always trying to see to our needs.

Cons: The room overlooked the main street which was noisy at times but the double glazing window is quite efficient.

Cons: Only thing is that there were works and workers preparing for the weekend festival music in the hotel and couldn't sit peacefully at the pool.... I know it's exceptionally for the event .

I came to relax in the mountain and it is the perfect getaway and the scenery is breathtaking. The pool is perfect during summer time, spa with amazing massage. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come again to this hotel for holiday in Faraya. Loved this place!!

Pros: We got upgraded to a bigger room by the hotel as a gift for our wedding anniversary with a romantic decoration. We manage with them a ATV trip in the mountains and a romantic set was prepared at the top of the mountain to celebrate our anniversary it was very nice experience

Pros: One of my best visits to Faraya, We got a gorgeous decorated room with an amazing view, It was so easy to find everything I needed inside the hotel, We took our lunch and dinner in the restaurant, the wood oven pizza and the steak were so delicious. The room service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The price is very affordable. We really enjoyed the spa and the ATV trip in the mountain. Thanks for all the team who made our stay unforgettable. I recommend that resort to every person who is searching for relaxation, cleanliness and beauty.

Pros: What more can you ask for when you have a delicious pizza baked in a firewood oven with a Lebanese Wine from the Reserve! …and Faraya fresh wind howling through the Windows where the street lights sneak inside the tree leaves to meet the dimmed light of this Cosy Restaurant. This all came after a relaxing massage and ended in a good night sleep away from the City Noise.

Pros: Good location in central Zahle with easy access to all areas of tourist interest in the town (and a short walk back down to the roundabout where minibuses connected to Beirut and Baalbek). Room was cute and very clean. Breakfast was supplemented on second day with freshly bought zaatar-flavoured and cheesy breads from the market. Hosts were friendly, informative and spoke good English.

Cons: Room was pretty cold in unseasonably chilly weather, making it less comfortable than it might otherwise have been.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious all local foods, Diamonda went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. We had sick travellers and she ensured we had cars and doctors to help us. Location is in the heart of zahle and everything is close by.

Cons: Room at the front that I stayed in was pretty loud, as there was a lot of activity throughout the night on the street below. Curtains were thin and didn’t block the light very well. Some black out curtains may help with the noise and the morning light! We weren’t aware of all the stairs that needed to be climbed to access the hotel, and it was very difficult for my elderly Aunt to make it to street level without a car

Cons: The stay is way overpriced: I have stayed in hotels with higher equipment and confort for the third of the paid price in this hotel. 1) The suite has only one TV, a suite like that at this price should have two 2) The TV didn't have a sound bar, which, again, at this price, is standard in other hotels 3) The restaurant food was average. At this price, it should have been perfect. 4) The breakfast buffet is ridiculously tiny for this price. It was the highest price that I ever paid for a breakfast buffet, with around one tenth of what you can find in an international boutique hotel breakfast buffet. 5) the staff omitted to explain clearly that I could have benefited from a reduced price on the breakfast buffet if I indicated it at check in.

Pros: Charming old fashioned hotel yet extremely clean - staff at reception was very friendly - the hotel offered us free breakfast although we payed a double room without breakfast - somehow expensive but aligned with usual lebanese hotel prices - with the window closed the room was very quiet although located on the street side because of a very good and discreet but efficient a/c - we were there for one night to attend a wedding at the hotel and we got a good rest night before going on the road again

Cons: Wifi is bad. It should be deployed in better way and antennas should be properly mounted. Also proper wifi design is needed on 2.4Ghz (only use channels 1 6 and 11) and stop 40Mhz wide channels on 2.4Ghz band. Bed cover (green) in room 110 looks very old and heavily used.

Pros: Late check in, comfort and wide double bed with a lot of pelowes. Very well conditioned room. There was not any hidden or extra costs.

Cons: Receptionist said nothing about breakfast, he did not mention it at all. Toilet was not real clean, it feels like sand on the floor. and I found long hair near the sink. The room is not soundproof and it cannot be locked from inside. You will get only one cappuccino for two persons !!

Pros: Contrary to another accommodation I stayed in Tripoli, I rate this as a five star hotel instead of four star as branded. My best stay in Lebanon. Transport to Baalbek or Damascus is easy. I like the garden of the hotel, very well decorated.

Cons: There is very limited options available for breakfast. One staff, whom I don't know his name, is behaving very rude in the dining place in the evening. However, the staff working in the afternoon are helpful and friendly.

Cons: The bed is extremely uncomfortable, my friend and I woke up so sore and barely slept all night, We were hoping to have breakfast outside in the garden because the weather was beautiful but they didn’t facilitate it because they were setting up lunch... all and all really no value for money.

Pros: The whole place is so nice, the view, the furniture and specially the staff. The mademoiselle in the reception was so elegant with us, the owner sent us a complimentary cake when he knew it was my wife's Birthday. The cuisine is Italian and offering first class quality. The place is near helmets on, a very nice place for skiing and activities. We stayed there for almost 2 days in our trip to Lebanon and we really recommend the place.

Cons: There was some sort of painting debris on the balcony, which seemed like it hadn't been removed for a long time. The room was big enough to fit the bed and a commode but the outfit hasn't been renewed in ages. For USD130 the night you would expect something better but most hotels in the area are priced similarly.

Cons: They didn’t fulfill their promise for: 1- Having 2 connected rooms ( had to update our rooms) 2- Didn’t get a Queen bed in one of the rooms as requested, had to upgrade. 3- you can hear the sound of the water pump whoever uses water in the hotel. It’s like the hotel is built out of wood.

Cons: We booked through booking.com and we paid a premium with no breakfast or massage. We were charged for both breakfast and the massage (pretty expensive, if you ask me) when in fact the folks that went directly to the hotel got those for free! ... talk about feeling jibbed...

In the end, it was basically a hotel with a restaurant and a bar. Fair enough, but we would have chosen others with superior quality and comfort for the same price as initially we thought it worthy due to the variety of food, activities and entertainment...unfortunately not found. Perhaps the hotel should specify seasons of facilities/restaurants' availability.

Pros: Nice location! Rooms are spacious (got upgraded to an apartment). Very modern hotel in a city which doesn't exactly scream "modern" when you enter it. A nice surprise. Breakfast was basic but very tasty!

We had to leave our luggages and had to our meetings without checking in since they couldn't find us a room with a key that worked. Noisy in the evening, running in the hallway past midnight after a cat that found its way into the hotel. Could do better on the look, and service.

Pros: The location is amazing, McDonald's is very close. Starbucks and dip n dip are on the ground floor. Beds are comfortable, a bottle of water was available inside the fridge. Nescafe and glasses and coffee cups are available.

Pros: The hotel is centrally located in Chtoura with a private parking on premises. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and ran from 7 till 12 which was perfect timing for us. We even met the hotel owner, a charming and lovely lady who joined us for breakfast. Owing to the central location of Chtoura i would highly recommend this hotel if your planning on visiting many nearby villages in the Bekaa valley!

Cons: The air conditioning unit in one of the rooms was a bit noisy. Shower amnesties could have been a bit more generous

Pros: Hotel is located on the main street, easy to find, has its own parking and valet service. We got a huge room with big sofa that we used to put kids - staff provbided with extra bed sets. Internet is quick, bathroom is nice, it was not noisy dsespite facing a busy road. Dinner in the restaurant was great, staff also got drawing books for kids and desertsd - extreamely welcoming!!!

Cons: Breakfast was too basic and it was only few things to eat for kids.

Pros: Hotel is wonderful, we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, food had wonderful taste and presentation. The hotel ambiance/decor is a mixture of modern vs traditional Lebanese houses.

Cons: There is nothing I did not like... but I have some remarks (that are not to be taken as negative scores): - For security, the elevators operate on the door lock key on the way up which is great. But, it is the same on the way down which should not be since if we forgot the key in the room, we cannot use the elevator to go down. - The main entrance to the hotel should be more relevant. I was in the car right under the hotel and could not notice the entrance of the hotel... since nearby shops and main entrance are almost the same from outside...

Pros: This is a modern and comfortable hotel. It is very well located at the top end of the town close to restaurants and shops, and the Berdawni River. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Anthony at Reception helped me with a lot of questions and booked a taxi for us to Aanjar.

Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent, the location is right in the centre of the Boulevard next to everything, the rooms were spacious and perfectly clean and the service is amazing. It's a new hotel so everything was shiny, and not to forget the generous and delicious lebanese breakfast that left us full all day! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Cons: Nothing, although I would recommend sound proof windows because the hotel is in the centre and the city is vibrant so a lot of noises from the outside are heard in the rooms, but the location was totally worth it!

Cons: The breakfast was very poor. For a 4-star hotel actually a disaster. Very few options and every day the same. Our stay was 7 nights but after the 3rd breakfast we couldn’t go any more, we just couldn’t eat the same food again. Only the coffee was nice. And I think even the employees kind of got used to people don’t go there every morning of their stay. Aslso we had a double bed in our room and wanted to have one king size bed.

Pros: Accessible location on the main street, friendly helpful staff, comfortable space with cute little balcony, very clean, delicious and large breakfast. Enjoyable stay.

Pros: The staff was very helpful. They arranged for us to be picked up by a tour bus driving from Beirut to Baalbek. The food was very good. The breakfast was more than we could eat, so they kindly reduced it to smaller portions on the second morning. The grounds are expansive and lovely. The linens were excellent quality. The owner is continuing to add more rooms and a gift shop.

Cons: Minor improvements in our room (but surely not in others) would be installing a small shelf in the bathroom for toiletry bags and a mirror in the bedroom. The photo on your website does not show the beauty of the building and its garden.

Pros: It's a great place with a wonderful host and owners... It's recommended if you want to feel the true Lebanese hospitality . it's a "like home" feel not a commercial place which have just the best of everything you need during a stay.

Cons: The standard room was very unappealing. The beds were springy and uncomfortable. The food was unacceptable! Quality, taste and temperature were not anything you would expect from a place that calls itself a boutique hotel.

Pros: it was a great weekend gateway from Beirut , in the calm setting of Chateau Saint Andree. Rooms were clean and spacious in a lovely mountain setting. The dinner and breakfast were excellent , accompanied by high end wine from Chateau Saint Andree ! Highly recommended staying there or having lunch dinner! Great host Paul and Andree !
