Absolutely terrible experience where Hertz forced all customers to use a full EC vehicle instead of the manual shift gear GAS vehicle rented. They were abusive and rude to all customers and said that hey can do what they want and do not guarantee a vehicle and can substitute with what they want. People were irate and this is the same practice. The same “family” owns and controls the Hertz and Sixt locations in Ajaccio. It is pure racket and they ask you to upgrade to much larger and more expensive vehicles. Net net, I spent more than 6 hrs of my precious vacation time to look for EV charging station, find the ones that work, then queue for them and charge….horrendous, never again and this is not the Hertz standard I know

I paid for a gas car. They were out and an electric was my only choice. Sold me a charging card that I never used. Added $250 to my rental for scratched I didn’t do.

Very stressed and unfriendly employee at the pick up. A very friendly and relaxed employee at the drop off. The Hybrid car was unfortunately not fully charged.
