The staff was top notch. Most went above and beyond to assist. The room was comfortable and accommodating. They made me feel welcome and made it easy to relax after a couple of very busy weeks of travel. Strong WIFI, nice business services area. I'd stay there again. Thank you! The bar was a disappointment and a stark contrast to the rest of the hotel. I waited about 5 minutes before I finally had to get someone's attention to take my order (even though there were 2 workers behind the bar the whole time). The layout is not conducive to starting conversations among others at the bar and neither was the staff. I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Also, restaurant staff came to the bar and talked about dining patrons right in front of the guests at the bar. Not professional.
Clean, friendly, easy
The location of the hotel was great -- took the Gautrain from the airport to the hotel and back again upon my departure. The hotel itself is stylishly appointed, and every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The food was also quite good.
This is a terrific hotel. Location is right across the road from the airport train. Excellent staff, lovely room and great breakfast. You could not fault this hotel. Check out is 11am but they let us keep thie room till 5pm as we had an evening flight home.

Was a very comfortable stay. Got what I needed. very friendly and helpful staff Didn't care for the shower/bath set up - strange! And pool needs to have a better set up for lounging
It is central situated. Rooms are pretty. The only thing I missed was a balcony.
location of the hotel Upon my arrival to the hotel, the receptionist asked me if I needed assitance for my luggage! I think this is shame for a 5 star hotel to ask such question. Also, the receptionist did not tell me that there is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel though I asked him!
The breakfast staff. If it had not been for them, I would have just cried. They saved me not moving to another hotel. Everything! I could not believe this was a Radisson Blu. It makes me scared to book another Radisson hotel out the US
To whom it may concern Just wanted to give our horible stay in your hotel i went with my parents who came from heart surgery ( my father) we had very bad time we booked 2 suites our ac was not working from 10 pm we call and call to change toom finaly at 3 am in the morning they changed room fr us to 1032 and my prents 1006 the staff are very very impolite and rude room service we order just plates glasses always takes 2 hours to bring have asked favor to front desk to warm diner for my daughter and parents and they can charge us as ur hotel beside chiken nothing was halal mr eric the chef was so so rude acting so impolite front of my daughter that this is not his job etc... a 11yrs old daughyer he gave the tray from kitchen which food was not even warm properly and send it with her not even a help of room service to cary that tray breakfast time waitress just horrible behavior shout on my daughter as she came with pyjama shouted on her front of my parents and sent her back in room i spoke to manager this is not the way to speak with a child and send her back with tears should politely address my parents or call me in room and was a room dress not even a pyjama when manager spoke she lied your staff sory big liars we take breakfast not innpeace they speaks between them so loudly come on your table never ask or excuse just take plates with so much noise we start morning like this so im sory rooms always always dirty we call many times to changes towels then wanted to go to sandton mall with family came to visit my parents we was 6 the bus chages us 400 rand !!!!as per dr we was suppose prolong few more days for my dad finaly i checked and went to michael angelo i come aouth very often almonst every 3 months im playinium member with accord group very soon gold member with legacy but i never had such a bad experience as i had with radisson hotel should make feel guest like home and not treat them like what your staff does

The location of the hotel is good as it is close to Santon shopping area. Place is reasonably secured. To reach the exit you need to use two separate lifts.
The interior comfort and design I was ripped off by Avis (based in the hotel) who where masquerading as a courtesey car for the Radisson Blu Sandton when in fact they were charging R575 to take me from the airport to the hotel. Radisson Blu could not organise a refund for me... they should not support a company who use such unethical business practices and should have compensated me for this exhorbitant charge.

Room - new, excellent facilities (suite!) much space, comfortable bed. Quiet airconditioning. WiFi at no charge. Excellent breakfast with big variety & good quality. Hotel design is very new, clean, different. Massage in spa was really very high standard. Some new staff not fully trained yet (tho most good). Lobby bar closes at 11.30(!) . watch the prices in the bar too...

The gym is excellent at this hotel - indoor pool, indoor running track, classes, etc The breakfast buffet is also great The staff was quite busy, so I had to call down numerous times to remind them about an envelope I was waiting for. Also the set-up of the hotel is weird, since the hotel reception is 13th flr

Check in was pretty average, the staff took 20 mins to check me in, and then told me that they did not have a room avail immed, and check in is from 2pm. It was 12.30 pm then, and I would have preferred that they tell me upfront rather than 20 mins into check in. he other thing was getting out of the parking was a nuisance, as I had confirmed with the reception staff on check out, that my key card was validated in order to let me out of the parking, however when I got to the gate, the card would not let me out, and this meant reversing back into other traffic, and going back to the 13th floor to get the card revalidated again. interestingly enough, the staff that checked me in, were the same that did my check out.......

Outstandingly friendly greeting; helpful staff. Good breakfast. We'd picked it because it was only a few km from the airport, and for this it was perfect. We also booked for our daughter to stay with them a few days later, and were really glad we'd done so. Honor bar was a nice touch. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Surrounding location felt a little dodgy, but inside the lodge's gates everything was fine.
The whole experience from airport collection to quality of rooms and breakfast was excellent. If you are staying either on a short trip to Joburg or getting a connecting flight, look no further than Aero Guest Lodge! Everything was first rate.
Aero guest lodge is near the airport in Jo'Burg, easily accessible. The grounds are well groomed and the room was cozy and modern with very good amenities. Breakfast was made to order and the honor bar was a very nice perk. Nice swimming pool. There was nothing my wife and I disliked.

Aero Guest Lodge has a very peaceful atmosphere, clean rooms and helpful staff. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there and would'nt hesitate to stay there again....keep up the good service you're providing.
The staff were friendly and efficient except for deficiencies noted below. Room was nice and clean and modern with fine amenities. Breakfast and room service were very tasty. 1. At check in I was told breakfast was included. When I had finished breakfast I learned it cost over $20 additional. I did not appreciate the lapse as my business had to pay the bill. 2. I called and asked the desk for a wake up call. I actually talked to a person - this was not a mechanical call. No one called me but I luckily I had already gotten up. This was unacceptable, especially for an airport hotel where people can miss flights etc. if wake up calls do not work.
I like the deco/design of the hotel. It has a very modern look, very chic. I was also impressed with the arrangement of the towels, which the chambermaid rolled into shape of a fluffy dogs, and decorated it with eyes, mouth. It was indeed very innovative I like the complimentary shuttle provided. However, I did not like the fact that there were many guys ( not sure if there were homeless or not) hanging nearby the pickup point for free shuttle. There should have been a signboard at arrival gate. However, we were told by hotel to make our own way to the pickup point. On our way to the pickup point ( which is a bit of a walk), one of these men tried to 'help' us by pushing our cart and kept saying it was for free, etc, and we were confused if there were airport staff, or the hotel staff. When we got there, we realised that there were many men also trying to help others. I think it is fine if these men were trying to make a living, but at the same time, I did not feel particularly safe.

Good location. Easy free shuttle connection. The rooms are not quiet. The noise of every takeoff and landing comes through the closed window loudly.

The design was great, the humour added a nice touch, the breakfast was expensive but fantastic, and the pool area was modern.
The whole ambiance was just wonderful. The decor is outstanding !! The rooms compare to the best we've seen. The service is very good and the food was great ! The transport to the Airport was on time and convenient. All and all a good experience. We will certainly be back soon ! . No complaints !

Great decor and new hotel feel. Hard to find location, needs better signage on nearby roads, direction info from staff was not complete and we had to call back 3 times before finding the facility.
Great location for someone arriving Johannesburg one day and leaving the next. Hotel is 3-minute walk from Airport, which has luggage carts you can push over there and leave. Bellman will take you to ticket counter for check-in the next day. Great staff, genuinely pleased that you are there. Excellent food. Soundproof, no airport noise. I normally stay at Sandton Hilton near my business partners' office, but when staying overnight to connect a flight the next day, the added cost of this hotel is absolutely worth while. I shall return. Cannot think of anything I did not like.

absolutely NOTHING!!! the check in was ridiculous.they gave me the key to a room that someone was already staying in, and i entered this woman's room to her shock at 2.00 am.the rooms are badly designed.the amenities in the bathroom are terrible.the room was extremely cold.this hotel for the money,is a complete waste, and the African managers and staff are not educated to be running this now very bad hotel.

The hotel design is beautiful, and the room was very inviting. The food in the main dining room is excellent. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It's a beautiful place to stay. The hotel says it's truly 'hip' but I didn't see any evidence of environmentally friendly practices that I think of as being hip. For example all linens are white; there's no message in the room as there are in many nice hotels about re-using towels if you choose. Also, for a hotel labelled "african pride' and hip, i would have liked to see more African elements incorporated into the textiles, linens, towels, paintings. The emphasis on luxury to me often over-ruled the hipness. Breakfast should be included, as it is at many other fine hotels. And for a business hotel, the internet was down on the computers in the business center for a day and a half at the business center. Some things didn't get restocked in the room each day.
All the staff were courteous and always willing to assist in dealing with whatever issues that came up.
1) It's location at the center of the new urbanist Melrose Arch town center. 2) Amazing room, lobby, pool, and restaurant design. 3) A completely safe and secure walkable environment in Johannesburg. 4) Great restaurants all around. Quite pricey.
The amazing decor and lighting effects. Excellence of service. Ambiance of "library lounge". Internet connectivity. Central position. Duvets are too warm, need a cotton blanket as an alternative. T.V. reception poor quality. Restaurant menu too fancy.
This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The extra touches e.g. rose petals and chocolates on the pillow at night were lovely. The bath in the bedroom and the seperate shower were great. Every attention to detail was taken e.g selection of dvds in the room and there was even mood lighting in the corridors and lifts. Melrose district has a nice selection of shops, restaurants and a good beauty salon. One of the main plus points was it was a secure and safe area where you could take a stroll at night. The only negative point was the one day the hotel forgot to send our taxi to collect us from Gold Reef City and we had to wait 45mins for them to get one to us. This could have been a one off mistake as in general we found this service reliable and the drivers were friendly and made you feel safe.
The room that i booked was not the room i was checked into. Booking.com show the penthouse suite as the superior room. This was very disappointing
the location, the rooms i have stayed many times at this hotel but their service levels are decreasing every time. check in was slow; they couldnt process the bookings.com reservation and i had to wait for abotu 20 minutes without makinhg any apologies, the service in the bar was slow; while they have waiters i had to go to the bar to place my order after being ignored for 15mins, the order never made it and i walked out
All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional - nothing was too much trouble, I was made to feel very welcome throughout my stay. The food and service was first class. I have stayed in numerous hotels in many countries and this one has to be one of the finest I have stayed in - I have no complaints whatsoever and hope to retun one day.
Rooms are beautifully an tastefully decorated The TV's have an option to listen to music, when one does not wish to watch TV, but this functionality did not work.
The rooms. I had a suite and it was very comfortable and clean. Some rooms are extremely noisy due to adjacent building sites. The first room offered was facing a construction site and was unacceptable noisy. There was no soundproof windows.

New and quite a boutique type place. Rooms (or rather suites) excellent and when the new train starts it will be 15mins ex the airport and a short walk (big advantage over rush hour roaads) Ok for business but i would not want to make a long stay. Staff new and polite etc but need more experience. I will stay there again. No proper bar and staff new so will hopefully improve with experience.As above Ok for short stays

This hotel is amazing! The furnishings are gorgeous and everything is the highest quality. The reception staff are helpful and lovely. The restaurant waitstaff for the dinners aren't very attentive. (You can see by the triviality of this just how nice everything was)
Quality of room and restaurant were nice, as well as location close to casino. Ordered wake-up call - never came, lucky to have woken up on my own. Ad said international outlets were in the room - they were not. Airport shuttle bus had a schedule, arrived on time, but then didn't depart for 15 minutes.
