Pros: lovely location, been here a few times now and will be returning. There is so much to see,do and visit in the local vicinity.A very beautiful area.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostal was in an excellent location in a beautiful picturesque village. The room was large and very comfortable. There was a big balcony with furniture and a lovely view of the castle. The bathroom was large and clean. The air con was very efficient and the WiFi good in all areas. The food in the hotel was good and well priced.
Cons: The only slight point I would make is that though the breakfast was good and plentiful it was exactly the same each of the 3 mornings we were there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about our stay was perfect the hospitality the food was amazing melt in your mouth lasagna..the room was up-to-date absolutely gorgeous clean and comfortable would stay there in a heartbeat we're actually thinking of going for a whole week the owners were fantastic and accommodated for my disability I highly recommend this Motel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location superb and the owners were really good even though they little grasp of English, we were able to converse easily with our spanish. Very nice rooms and it certainly was better than the current 2stars it has. The restaurant was great, not a large menu but we had the menu del noche that included a bottle of house white wine, 30E for two people. Great location for a laid back time in a lovely little town. Large free car park opposite the hostal, why it is called a hostal don't know, better than some 4star hotels I have stayed in .
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, free parking opposite, friendly staff, good food and wine and exceptionally clean everywhere. Lovely spacious room with beautiful view of the castle and town from balcony.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Everything about it

Pros: The location was great. Value excellent. Staff was very helpful (even though we couldn't speak Spanish and they couldn't speak Australian) My wife is excellent at smiling and charades. Good breakfast included - one of the better coffees in Spain. Great town with some interesting attractions while on a road trip from Valencia to Granada.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Position and the room
Cons: Breakfast could be better.
10.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Cons: The food offering was quite disgusting. For a Spa hotel to be serving frozen burgers and inedible fries makes no sense.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was OK not the 'fantastic breakfast' that we had read up on! But adequate. A little disappointing, but did not spoil the experience. A very good hotel location wise and offered a good place for our stay in Alcala de Jucar. Would we return .. YES. Loved the outside space, and the hotel was extremely good, great pool.
Cons: We understood the reception would speak English - not on our visit, but we managed with Spainish. Could be a little different for people that do not understand Spanish.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property is in a lovely quiet area with free secure parking. It is an easy walk in to the centre of the village. The spa and pool areas were very clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool has sun beds and parasols, there was a life guard on duty. The breakfast is excellent with a good variety of lovely fresh food. All the staff we saw were pleasant and helpful. If you’re British it would be helpful to speak a little of the language or have a phrase book or translator on your phone. This is not Benidorm and most of the staff do not speak much English.
Cons: The drinks in the bar are much more expensive than in the bars/ restaurants in the village.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in the deluxe suite which was absolutely stunning, as was the location of the hotel, spa and views
Cons: Very limited choice in hotel restaurant (just a few choices of main course) but that was fine as we found a lovely local restaurant just a few minutes walk away
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern clean and functional hotel. For us the bed was perfect if you like a firm mattress. Parking open-air with plenty of space. No chance of damaging your car. Wi-fi very good. Dinner menu very good and plenty of choice. Fillet was excellent, perfectly cooked. Swimming pool very clean with ample space and loungers around it. Bar service provided round pool. Breakfast excellent.
Cons: Booked a room with pool view, but to see the pool would entail opening the window and leaning out. Person on reception said it had a pool view. Only if you are a giraffe! Open bathroom and toilet rather odd and disconcerning. Mini-bar enclosed in wardrobe below safety deposit box. Effect was to turn the box into an oven. Severe heat affected our mobile phones and we had to cool them down..
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is very nice, the hotel is clean, rooms clean and very nice. Relaxing music in the hall. Very good breakfast.
Cons: The girl in the reception did not speak english. The spa should be reserved in advanced, so we could not use it. The spa is also extra charged even though that wasn't announced or at least not clear enough while booking.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The pool ares was stunning..
Cons: Perhaps more staff needed .. I. E bar
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Facilities and the outside area was very nice. The pool situated close to the river and many big trees made it feel like a green oasis. Staff was nice and breakfast terrific with many alternatives.
Cons: We chose to eat dinner at the hotel. Sitting at the terrace was great, but the food was not that impressing. Unfortunately we struggled with the language and there was some misunderstanding.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool even if it is attended by other people than the hotel ones
Cons: Stuff not that welcoming
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and facilities were great.
Cons: Spa water had excessive chlorine, my eyes were very itchy and could not stay for long inside.

Pros: Just lovely!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quietness , if you want to get away from everything for a short break this place is ideal so tranquil . No traffic or any noise at all . When we entered our studio the table was laid with cakes etc and a candle and a bottle of complimentary wine ,very clean , very different . Our hosts were very helpful . Will definitely recommend to others . Hope to return .
Cons: No Wi Fi , no phone signal or very difficult to get . Maybe a problem for some but it all added to the laid back atmosphere . Definitely need Tom Tom to get there really off the beaten track . Not recommended for elderly or infirm , some very high rock / steps inside and out .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location - and a small apartment comprising 3 conjoined caves, well fitted out and charming. A beautiful terrace area surrounded by greenery and views of the gorge. Temperature was stable and air was fresh inside the caves. An outstanding experience and different.
Cons: Ask the owner for directions - we didn't have any except the address which was misleading to Google and us. Once we had directions it was easy. In our apartment, HÖHLE, there is NO WIFI. At all. So just plan on a peaceful technology free experience. Bring your own food and drinks as none is available on sites. It's an 18km drive each way to Alcalá del Júgar. The water is safe to drink but I didn't like the taste.

Cons: No food available in the evening
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean, comfortable and polite helpful owner. Extremely good value for money - If English - he even had Tea!!!! Breakfast continental type but I am sure if you asked for something else he would supply it. Toasted cheese and ham sandwich for lunch when we arrive (3 euros I think) - well worth it - very tasty!
Cons: Cant think of anything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was a bit spartan but clean and beds were fine. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food selection was not rich but tasty and fresh. We spent one night here and found it satisfying. It was worth the price.
Cons: The heater (heating/cooling A/C) started with difficulty. The shading of room lights was quite unpleasant
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Check in said 1pm. We arrived after 2 to find the room not ready but they did it immediately while we went for a walk.
6.3 Good
Pros: Quite friendly, flexible and helpful staff. The room and place in total was quiet. Unexpectedly clean bathroom! for such crappy room. Relatively close to the center.
Cons: The room had some mold and smelled moisty. I reserved the room for 3 people, but the third bad was kind of for kids, not comfortable enough. For the price/quality relation it's Ok, but the breakfast was poor
