I dont know how this hotel can get 3 stars.Huge mistakes. The hotel definitely need a remodeling! I was tehere only 2nights -sleepless nights.
The hotel is centrally located in Puerto Alcudia an ideal base for the marina. It is a quiet hotel ideal for relaxing by the pool, good food and clean rooms.
Service and meals were very good. Plenty of variety, quality & quantity at breakfast and dinner. Our room was well located overlooking the pool. We arrived late after all meals had been served. Advised by reception that a cold buffet was available however the selection was poor and meat had been left warm over the bains marie. Not good for salmonella etc. It would have been better if they had not offered any late meal. First impressions may have put us off. But we later experienced the excellent food for the remainder of our stay.
Good location, near the sea. Pool. Freindly and helpfull staff, good breakfast, good value for money
Honestly we just used the hotel to sleep at and have breakfast, and for that it was more than sufficient, and we were very satisfied with the price and what we got for it. Seemed a nice hotel also for families. Would not recommend it to couples. Lack of variety at breakfast buffet
Situation (old part of town), quieteness, comfort and charming rooms. The place to stay if you are exploring the North of Mallorca and if you want to avoid the mass tourism.
Brilliant Design! Great Staff! It was so romantic, ideal for couple! We would definately come back! nothing really! Everything was so nice!
Hotel in a beautiful 17th century mansion. The bedroom was spacious and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the peaceful courtyard was ++.
This hotel was just perfect for us. It was elegant, tastefully furnished, lots of character and very relaxing. Our room was spacious with an extremely comfortable large double bed. The bathroom too was large and perfectly designed, complete with lovely soaps and body lotions! Breakfast was served in an attractive courtyard garden. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly owners. The hotel is situated in the centre of the delightful old town and yet not very far from the lovely beach at Alcudia. Also very close to the fantastic Genestar Restaurant. We would highly recommend this hotel for those looking for a quiet, elegant and totally relaxing place to stay
Everything. The hotel is actually a traditional Mallorcan house with a beautiful patio where we used to have breakfast. Magdalena and Tony were really nice and helpful and they keep the place really clean and cosy. We loved it and would definetely go back. We missed a bigger window.
A very nice hotel and a very nice owner. Everything was just perfect.
Natural parc and close to the sea Cleaning service is very poor, quality of food is poor
Excellent resort, good sports facilities, very clean, delicious food. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. The beach is separated from the hotel by a quite busy road. People who like it quieter will have to travel to Cap Formentor or at least to Port de Pollentia.
The sports facilities were very good and the resort had a nice open feel with lots of greenery. The staff were also very friendly and efficient. Food was consistently of a good quality. Shame that the hotel fronts a busy road which spoils the otherwise stunning views and setting. Food could have been a bit more varied. Charging for hire of tennis rackets was a bit petty.
Excellent food. Beautiful setting. Polite, hard working staff. Slightly pricey for 4* hotel
Stayed 7th to 15th August 7 adults 3 children age 8 to 15. Upgraded to all inclusive. Rooms clean in both Marris and Village, much larger rooms in the Village, sport facilities very good, swimming pools/tennis courts etc. Some very nice beaches near by Negatives, staff are mainly curt unsmiling, service poor/especially in the Village dining area, wait a long time to order drinks through a two designated staff who don’t like to be chased. Food in buffet restaurants edible but very average, service in Marris buffet better and the same food. Sunbeds very difficult to get being reserved from 6am, very little space around the pools. Remote spot with no really beach car essential. I holiday with family twice a year for two weeks in April and August and have stayed in a lot more friendly and pleasant places. Would not go back.
The hotel was in an amazing setting, beautiful clean pools outdoor, heated pool indoor, tennis, squash, archery , surfing and sailing school, trial dives, excellent buffet food - something that we looked forward to morning and eve, and you would never guess that it catered for many guests - it was very well organised. After dinner you could mingle in the various corners with cosy sofas, meet other guests, play games chat - very welcoming - I would highly recommend it! (stayed with an 8 and 12 year old) the front rooms might be noisy as close to the street, which runs infront of the hotel, but this was not noticeable at the sides d back, which overlooked a nature reserve
The staff were very friendly and Francoise at the hobby club reception was super helpful.
I liked the location as it was very relaxing. I think there should be more evening entertainment, the group who did it were a mime act and it was a bit boring. It would have been nice to have had a variety of entertainers instead of the same faces each night. The other thing I think would improve the hotel is the non-smoking facilities, the best room with the piano was set aside for smokers, this was a bit disappointing for the majority of us who do not smoke and most of the time the room was empty. This hotel is supposed to be a sporty hotel after all!. I think if the room was reserved for non-smoking adults who would have also liked to have had the opportunity to have a drink with a nice piano player, this would have improved my holiday SMokers area could be outside next to pool table
The Rooms were a little dated and very noisy. Cleaning staff very rude - Being woken at 8am on our last day by a rude cleaner wanting to know when we would be out of out room was not a good experience.
Everything - the food, the accommodation, the facilities, the staff, the weather just about everything.
location was good. easy access to restaurants/taxis/buses. breakfast was very acceptable. did not like bathroom, inconvenient because of old building being adapted for modern use.
Exceptional service, very nice decoration. The rooms were very clean, the restaurant very good.We enjoyed our stay!
Lovely decor, very friendly manager, nice location in a beautiful town. The room was noisy - on the ground floor with occasional traffic and lots of people going by right outside all the time, so not perfect but still really nice.
location is good. room is clean and comfort. the shower head is not good. the shower door is broken a little bit.
Everything!! design of the place, comfort; cleanliness, staff!! I ll definitly be back everyone was very nice and i enjoy my trip there! the hotel got a restaurant we ate there one evening and i have to say that the food was very good but the portion were too small even for me and i dont have a big appetite! but it was delicious
The friendliness and the relaxing atmosphere makes us return year after year! No
The small, friendly and quite atmosphere within an ancient building that did not impose its self on its surroundings.
Beautifly restored, good ambience, pleasant staff. One problem in our en-suite bumped head on ceiling few times very low. Also bit dissapointed with breakfast ,do not particulary like buffet style, stayed at a hostel in Banyalbufar, very good, breakfast was served at the table, fresh rolls croissants, eggs ham toms, pate, cheese, also evening menu 11euros, high standard home cooking but good price.Dissapointed you missed my note of 35th wed anniversar
its location in the old city the breakfast was poor, and so was the supper if you elected for half board.
We were absolutely thrilled with our accomodation, we in fact live in a 16th century house and inasmuch as the walls were stone it was home from home with the obvious added mod cons, ensuite, TV sheets changed every day (husband certainly doesn't get that at home). Owners and stall were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble and even though our kids are grown up and we have grandchildren I noticed how good they were with the two little boys who were there with their parents. In the morning I found it a delight to walk the streets of Old Alcudia town to take photographs and just enjoy the peace and quite and people making their way to work. I cannot praise the Hotel enough just wish someone could beam me back this instance.
The subject hotel is located in the Old Town of Alcudia, within walking distance from the Plaza de Toros (very useful for drivers). It is also in a very quiet place, next to the main square though. Wireless internet 24/7 for workaholics, books/maps of Mallorca for every taste, coffee machine for 24/7 free use. The Receptionist Miss Maria is marvelous. Very helpful, polite & attentive, tries to run the business almost alone. Unfortunately, being stayed to other Boutique Hotels before (especially to my country), I was expecting something more. For a 4-star hotel & a room at the price of 150€ per day, my expectations have been raised. So, for the 4 nights being there, our bathrobes have never been changed, the sheet of the bed on our private terrace the same, maybe the towels too, the sheets of our beds lacked the feeling of freshness, the room was foul of dust, there were no welcome drinks (not even a bottle of water), bad taste of the room decoration & lack of space. At Alcudia there is a lot of humidity at night & maybe the storage conditions of the clean sheets is not well preserved. But, this is something the Service must take care of. No reception after 5pm
the owners are extremely friendly, there is a family atmosphere there, not like in a large hotel where they treat you like a simple client.Right in the center of old Alcudia, near to lots of beaches.to sum things up:marvellous experience!
The spa bath was fun and the four poster bed comfortable and romantic There is not someone on reception all day, so we waited a short while on the doorstep. We also felt it was overpriced (though lovely).
In a beautiful context a gorgeous hotel with very friendly hotel owners. Right in the center of old Alcudia and near to a lot of marvellous beaches. Relaxing experience from the breakfast to the evening coffee, definitely want to go back!
Quiet location but only a few metres from the lovely main square. I liked the free coffee (and tea) machine in the attractive lounge and the many books and DVDs available for free loan. Our room was exceptionally quiet. Breakfast was only available from 9am.
Great service, very friendly hotel owners. Excellent and relaxing experience, definitely want to go back!
Gorgeous place, staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We stayed in the Boticelli room, with romanitc 4 poster bed (strewn with rose petals), small balcony and jacuzzi bath. Lovely touches in the hotel like tea and coffee making facilities in the lobby, DVDs to hire. The hotel is right in the middle of beautiful Alcudia old town, just steps away from the main Placa with plenty of lovely restaurants nearby (highly recommend the patio at the back of Es Canyar on the main square). We had a car and were able to get to Port de Pollensa in 5 mins.
The owners, very friendly and servicminded. The concept with the old house in the middle of the city. The breakfast.
The staff were extremely welcoming & helpful. Rooms tastefully decorated.
service from staff
It would be difficult to single out anything in particular as almost everything was exceptional. Checking out was a problem as the hotel did not have a record of our bill. I was able to convince them that we had not already paid and to show them a copy of my confirmation details from yourselves. They took my credit card details and said they will charge it accordingly; but this is not really acceptable as I have no way of knowing if they will charge the correct amount.
The hotel is definetely not a 4 star establishment and it merely compares to 3 stars hotels in Majorca or anywhere else in the world. During my stay I encountered the worse customer service I have been across in all my life. Rooms are really small and most of them face a very busy & noisy road. The wifi did not cover my room and anyway to use it the hotels charges 3 euros per hour. Breakfast is poor.
The buffet has a good selection, the staff are very accomodating. The location to shops and bars and public transportation is convenient The website is misleading about the distance to the beach. The walls of the rooms are paper thin - I heard my neighbor coughing and snoring all night. The beds are also hard as a rock - we did not sleep well any night and had backaches.
Well, I like the staff, service, food, cleanliness of my room-everytime it was perfect..and I must say this hotel surprised me a lot. I didn not expect nothing special, but they make you feel special. only one disadvantage is the location - not on the beach...
it was fine.nothing more sorry didn't like the location, small sun terraces and set tables for breakfast and dinner.
We really enjoyed the excellent food on half board basis it was excellent value. Staff at all levels were courteous and helpfull. We really felt this hotel greated us and treated us as their guests from the moment we arrived and we will definitely return perhaps next year.
Substantial breakfasts. Quiet room. Cleanliness. Access to wildlife reserve Albufera. A nice balcony. Pleasant poolside. The hotel suited me perfectly.
Fairly priced and well positioned for the things that Alcudia has to offer. Breakfast was value for money. Crazy golf is a crazy price!
the hotel was clean and the pool was also well kept. In terms of location it was where i wanted to be, close to the beach and restaurants. I found it to be good value for money. the bar service was a bit slow and often we had to approach them to be served. I would have also welcomed nightly entertainment even if it was a disco with a dj, rather than a laptop with a mix of 80's and 90's songs.
Great location, common areas were clean and inviting. Room was very small, had a discusting odour, and there was a very loud noise from the bathroom when other clients flushed their toilets. I think the drainage/sewage pipes ran down the wall adjacent to my bathroom - unacceptable - this room should be a storage room not a bedroom and sleeping was impossible.
the busy road that kept me up all night
Accomodation was very good. Variety and quality of food was good. Everything was very clean. Having to share a table with other guests at mealtimes. There was a weighing scales available for guests who wished to weigh their luggage before going to the Airport, but there was a charge of one Euro for each case/bag.
good service, good value for money sunbeds were taken fast in the morning
Nice room. Nice balcony. Guiet. Not far from the beach. Very helpful staff Bed not very comfortable. Hard! Little variation on the breakfast buffet.
Very pleasant hotel. Staff friendly, food lovely. No bad points about this hotel
All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast buffet was excellent, for a 3 star hotel I really don't think you could expect any more! We would have preferred a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together.
Staying here was a true feast for the senses and an authentic experience of Mallorcan country life. My guest house, surrounded by fragrant, meter high lavender and rosemary was very private and had magnificent views of the orchards, valleys and mountains. As a single traveler I felt very secure here as the property is security gated and a member of the staff is available on site 24 hours. Son Siurana is a very special place and only 20 minutes or less from Pollenca's restaurants, shopping and cultural events. I liked everything about Son Siurana except dampness inside can be an issue depending on the weather conditions but I've found this to be common in other original structure fincas as well.
i would recomend this hotel for familys with young children we were a couple and thought at this time of year it would be couples but it was 99 per cent familys with young children i was bitten by mosquitoes which turned infec and i have since been treated with antibiotics for this and the bed bugs couldnt sleep in the bed for scratching
I liked the sea view, the availability of a microwave oven, electric stove, dishware and a fridge, and a proximity to various shops and restaurants. The shower gel in small packets was provided only on the first day, and then we had to purchase it.
quiet and calmness, everything you need you can find around, information and reception services are perfect only one entrance
Room OK, bathroom nice. Lot of shops and pups in the area No aircon in the rooms, a lot of noice from the street in the night (every night), only 2 pools for way too many people.
Good location, very nice room and excellent breakfast check-in was at 14.00 - a bit to late I think They served leftovers from lunch for dinner :o(
pool to many from GB
i feel that if you were not on an all inclusive deal that drinks and food were dear with not much variety in your spar shops
Nice area, good pools, and okay entertaiment More information about things at the hotel would be good
The pool was good. A lot of noise from the evening entertainment every night
The all inklusive care was very good and varied Although pre-consulted on that we have to check out 13 o'clock, at 12 o'clock we had to go with the 2 little children
the food and location the entertainment venue at night
friendy staff, cleanlliness and variety of foods. swimming pools being closed a lot of the time for various reasons.
All services available
facilities, enthusiastic staffs, excellent food . The reception staff need to help customers bit more that just directing us to someone else.Basic questions about the town were not entertained.
We asked for 3 rooms and we got them all next to each other which was a bonus. There was a good choice of food, maybe it could have been a bit hotter. The entertainment was pretty good for spain. There was plenty of organized activities if you wanted them. We found the hotel really noisy especially at night. They could do with more staff quitening people as they enter the hotel late at night.
The location is great, very close to a local beach but away from the resorty area of Puerto de Alcudia...close to Alcudia city instead but with the benefit of having a beach. Very quiet and family orientated. Mantainance is not very good. Paint was falling from one of the walls in the corridor of our room and the bath tap was liking (although they fixed really quickly as soon as we made them aware of this). Also, there's no cleaning service of the room once a week, which I had never seen in a hotel of this type.
Very nice hotel, good the location and the food.
Good location, pleasant rooms and good breakfast. Easy transport into the centre and quiet location near a castle.
Very clean, nice staff, nice buffet, very close to a really nice beach. very thin walls and noisy air condition. wear ear plugs!
Nothing, the bar staff were rude and unhelpful. Their advertising states sky TV, the only channels available were German or Spanish. There was nothing else to do in the hotel
