Pros:We were a bit nervous checking in as the outdoor sign was all broken and the lobby and halls were undergoing remodeling so it didn't look as nice but we were very impressed with the actual room. It was spacious and clean and remodeled and had only minor issues (bathroom door was not squared up and was too tight to close all the way) over we were impressed
Cons:Main sign from street was broken, lobby area and hallways looked unfinished with trim missing and not all carpets replaced in hall. (But we understand they are in middle of remodeling) girl at front counter was not the most pleasant. Pool area did not seem taken care of very well, clumps of hair floating in pool and on ground around pool area and no clean towels to use.
Pros:The staff was as kind and accommodating as possible, and felt genuinely apologetic for the deplorable state of the hotel.
Cons:It is impossible to even pull up to the main doors of the hotel, as the entire vehicle pull-through area is filled and blocked with construction items. The elevators were all out of service so we had to heft our luggage up three flights, along with out very you children.
Pros:The staff was pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was substantial and there was plenty of seating room. Loved the Texas shaped waffles.
Cons:We were only there overnight as we stopped to let a snow storm pass and left early the next morning. We booked a king room and were given two queen beds. I verified with the clerk that it was a king room. She said, "Yes, you are in a king room." By the time we got up to the room, we were too tired to argue. One of the first things we noticed was that the carpet was not clean. It looked as if it had not been vacuumed since the last guest. The lamps were unplugged as the on/off switches were missing or broken. We had bend down and reach under the tables to plug them in. We have always had a good experience at Comfort Suites and were surprised by this experience.
Pros:Nothing. Never made it to the room.
Cons:The front desk help. They could not make you individual keys. They had someone escort you to your room and had to key you in with a master key. Their key machine had been flooded 3 WEEKS prior to our stay. The front desk lady said it was not their fault. When asked why this information was not given when reservations were made she got mad and told me she was going to cancel my reservation and asked me to leave the property. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!
Pros:The staff on duty when we arrived was excellent. Isabelle was friendly, pleasant and helpful. The location was convenient. The room was quiet and comfortable.
Cons:The bathroom ceiling had a leak which we discovered after we had unpacked. We did not want to change rooms so we didn't mention it until check out. The leak was not new...there were several patches on the ceiling! The breakfast staff and another staff member were blocking access to the breakfast while they chatted...twice I had to ask them to move. The stairwell carpets are all in need of replacement. There are signs for vending machines which do not exist. There is a little shop for drinks (not sure about anything else) near the front lobby. This was discovered after all floors were checked for vending machines as per signs.
Pros:Close to shopping and recreation.
Cons:Hot tub wasn't hot, it was filled with very cold water. Shower was warm, not hot.
Pros:Everything. I was pleased with everything. The value was good and the facilities, location and amenities were great.
Cons:Couldn't think of anything.
