The gals helping is check in were prompt and professional, the young man behind the desk was either not wearing a mask or not wearing it correctly and was touching his face and seemed to be using his phone for social media We were placed in a room on the bottom floor that was centrally located I did enjoy that a bag breakfast was available upon request The air conditioning was most refreshing. If needed I did see there was coin op laundering available
there was blood under the toilet paper roll. I assume it was menstrual blood by is mucous like appearance... im pregnant and my husband is a dude.. Some of the towels were stained and there was a large stain on the carpet Multiple short hairs were found in the shower prior to use The entrance doors stated they were only accessible by card lock 24hrs and were not supposed to be propped open at anytime, however, the locks never engaged and the building was accessible by simply pushing on the glass of the doorno room key required.. i took a little comfort in the surveillance camera. The hallways had a strong moist mildew odor. As stated previously I am pregnant and especially careful and observant of covid precautions, seeing the young man up front visibly touch his mouth and im pretty sure just not wearing a mask was off-putting to say the least. Not to mention he appeared to be engaging in creating video, possibly audio content on a social platform called "Tik Tok" While the stay wasn't all bad, it is definitely without question the worst motel and even worse than any hotel experience I have ever had. I regret trying to save money and will not be recommending this establishment to any of my many relatives in California Least of my concerns but a small bother was lack of shade for parking. California. Is. Hot. Residents and natives are accustomed to this, not travelers.
Not Very Clean
Location was the only good point.
Place needs to have better cleanliness. Towels were not white and small. Toilet backed up. I was given keys to an occupied room. More of a low end place to stay. I will stay somewhere else next time.
Nice location.
Rooms did not get cleaned at all during our stay. Front desk said they should have been but were never restocked with towels and beds weren't made. Room wasn't as clean as usual either. Tub had soap scum.
Disgusting and Dirty
Staff was friendly.
Pool area was filthy. The bathroom in room was disgusting and final straw was toe nail discovered on floor AFTER we'd stayed overnight . Gross. I would have complained at check out but no one ever came to front desk prompting me to just leave keys there.
No ID
I arrived late in the night after a very long drive. The check in person asked for my ID & CC to complete the process. My stay was for two nights. She gave me my key & i went to bed. Long story short the girl never gave me my ID & CC back so of course after a 12 hr drive back home i stopped to get gas & when I opened my wallet I realized i had left my ID & CC behind. The reason why this is bad is that the front desk didn't take the initiative to see rather or out if i had check out so they could return it. They didn't never try to call the number i left for contact purpose.
Courteous staff. Very clean, comfortable. Breakfast good variety and tasty. Would definitely stay here again.
