5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfy - breakfast was good
Cons: The owner (Ken) was not very nice - he rang me on the evening i was coming and asked well are you still coming or not even though I had said it would probably be between 8-9 when I got there and this was around 9.20 and when I arrived he said he would be charging me 8.50 extra because I wanted a room on the ground floor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ken and Anthea are really friendly and helpful, and offered lots of suggestions to us of activities to enjoy in Donegal. Our room was great value for money, and we really appreciated the continental breakfast provided each morning! Also, it was only a five minute walk to all the restaurants and pubs in Dungloe!

Pros: The owner is a delight and massively competent in running such a fine establishment. Her hard work and personality has made this BnB a real home from home for us. This time we were given a healthy option for breakfast and it was excellent. We hope to return for a third visit.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and location were excellent
Cons: No complaints or negative comments.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was okay, the wifi worked, it was quiet.
Cons: In 30-odd years of staying at B&Bs all over Ireland, and indeed abroad, I have never been subjected to the level of utter hostility that came my way from this landlady literally from the moment that I set foot in the property. And Yes, I am referring to the same Grace who is described in the other reviews. The contrast between the woman referred to in those reviews and the one that I met makes me wonder who is actually writing the other reviews. I have no absolutely no idea why she went out of her way to be as hostile as she possibly could. Having given notice that I would arrive around 12.30pm, I even rang her before leaving home to tell her that I had been unwell that morning and as a result would be arriving around 2pm; I did not want to delay or inconvenience her and was trying to be considerate. I arrived on the dot of 2pm to be met by an inexplicably hostile, curt and scowling owner. This is the same woman that others have said allegedly met them with tea and biscuits. Really? At breakfast the following morning, she asked me a question, then, after I had begun to answer, she simply turned on her heels and walked out on me in the middle of my first and only sentence. This reflects the tone of our engagement from start to finish. I am not a difficult guest and I don't expect to be treated like royalty. Good manners and basic civility go a long way. But I would never stay at Radharc an Oileáin again. If Grace does not wants guests in her house, then perhaps she would be happier doing something else in life, rather than running a bed and breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good with own products invitation to attend music evening (owners are musicians) in village bar.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the 'top 10' comfy beds ... I have ever slept in !! Like sleeping in a cloud ! Just off the main road and super quiet countryside. I was working ... but I'd go there 'as a destination' ... I would love to stay and linger .. read the history in the breakfast room ! Speaking of breakfast ... it was soooo good - kept me going till dinner ! Very, very, very occasionally, they see Northern Lights .... I kept my curtains open in hopeful anticipation / just in case !!! I was there in off season ... do take on board that there are no nearby restaurants open on a Monday night during winter ! However, I can highly recommend the chicken fillet burger at Apache just down the road :-) or bring a 'room picnic' ??
Cons: The internet speed .... this isn't a criticism of the hotel ..... welcome to west of Ireland ! Apparently there is a 5 year plan ... they're just not sure if it has started yet !!!!! Even hot spotting to my phone was woefully slow ! If you want / need fast internet .... stay in Dublin !!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome, very friendly staff. Amazing views from room. Comfy bed, slept like a log. Good traditional full Irish breakfast. Excellent location. Loved all the old pictures and stories on the wall, showing the history of the area. Read some negative reviews. Maybe these people, should in future not look for a traditional Irish B and B with charisma and find one of the lifeless plastic modern hotels.
Cons: Liked it all. Would of liked more powerful shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great host
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice view from the room Great room size Nice hosts, late arrival possible Great breakfast Family like B&B
Cons: No window in bathroom Beds are a little bit uncomfortable, too soft The restaurant nearby (the only one?) closed the kitchen early that day, so we had to eat on our way to the B&B

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly informal atmosphere. Helpful friendly staff. Tasty breakfast and got exactly what I asked for.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, quiet and peaceful with beautiful food.
5.8 Okay
Pros: I liked the location of the property and close distance to the beach. Breakfast was good and restaurant staff were pleasant and polite.
Cons: It wasn’t as described at time of booking and after reading previous reviews it didn’t meet my expectations. We didn’t receive any level of welcome just here are your keys. We got a phone call around 10pm then to ask if we were checking in, but we already had! The bedroom was standard and not modern as described, lose carpet and flat pillows. Whilst it was clean it was somewhat dated. The lounge is not shared as it was used to accommodate diners. There is no view unless you stand on a chair. And not ideal for children who need sleep before 12pm as the noise travelling from diners and the clean up then it’s impossible. A party on the Saturday evening meant I had a cranky child who struggled to sleep. Overall we felt an inconvenience here and on departing we got a call to say we left a charger but it actually wasn’t ours - we didn’t get thank you for staying with us I hoped you enjoyed your stay. Overall disappointed

Pros: Good "conference-type" hotel in great location near the Glenveagh National Park and near the stunning Donegal coast. The spa facilities were a bonus and would be appreciated if the weather had been poor. Friendly and welcoming staff. Buffet-style hot breakfast was acceptable for the type of hotel. We would return when next in the area as the hotel is such a good base for seeing northern Donegal.

With a shared lounge and a garden, Lóistín an Iuir is located in Annagry and provides free WiFi. Continental and à la carte breakfast options are available daily at the bed and breakfast. The nearest airport is Donegal Airport, 11 km from Lóistín an Iuir.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and quiet B&B, close proximity to the airport at Carrickfin, very helpful and friendly hosts.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was fine on a main road. The Bed Room was large, modern and clean. Contained one Double Bed and two Single Beds. Towels and Sheets were spotless.
Cons: Breakfast was served downstairs in front room. Tablecloth and chairs were worn which is not a big problem. However on the table was a dirty, empty sugar bowl i.e tea drips on the inside. When I asked for more sugar the same sugar bowl was used. The butter dish was full of the scrapings (including crumbs) of some other butter dishes and was very unappealing, no attempt was made to disguise that the butter had been scraped from another container into the butter dish. I don't mean to be unkind but it made me feel disgusted and it really put me off the place. The lighting in the bedroom was very poor. Could not read even with Bedside light on. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi Bath, no shower curtain and the shower head was not mounted to the wall. I would expect a working wall mounted shower to be a minimum requirement. It would take very little to make this Review 10/10. It is not intended to be unkind - the Homeowner who was very nice.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice staff, very kind and helpful
Cons: Room not en suite and bed was not comfortable, really soft witha lot of give in the middle (and I am light)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This property is excellent for the tourist or business traveller. Room was utilitarian but spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable and tea making facilities were appreciated. Excellent Breakfast.
Cons: I liked everything but would make one small suggestion. There was no chair in the room. A school desk chair with a flip top surface for writing on would be a perfect solution.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities and comforts. Homely feeling. The professionalism of our host. You could ask for anything and not feek afraid to ask.
Cons: No dislikes.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and very nice owner, it was very kind for her to allow us to arrive after the limit check-in time. Everything was spotless. Quiet place with nice views to the lake. One of the least known areas in Ireland.
Cons: A bit pricy for its location

Pros: Spotlessly clean and a fab breakfast
7.1 Good
Pros: A convenient stay near the Donegal coast
Cons: The upper room was a bit noisy (like water flowing down pipes constantly or something like that) and a roof window right above the bed with no option to stop the light in the morning.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast
Cons: The skylight in the room made it a bit bright. A second toilet would have been good
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice place
Cons: TV should have been provided in the rooms.

Pros: We liked the ivy-covered front of the house and the olde-worlde interior. The food was fabulous as was the staff.
Cons: The bedrooms are very small and if you have a double bed room, you’re overlooking the road.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive (like a big extended family!) and showed a genuine interest in the quality of not only our stay in the guest house but also in Donegal, and equally showed an interest in us as travellers. Originally a hunting lodge, the late 19th Century house has preserved much of its character while offering modern amenities, and excellent, interesting food.
Cons: I wouldn't change anything in the guesthouse which the installation of AC would inevitable do but it can be rather warm in the rooms on a summer night.

Pros: The food very good
Cons: The only down side the bed a bit short and mattress not comfortable
