Good aesthetics. The rooms were too small. The price is too high for such a hotel.
A non-smoking room that was actually smoke-free; hard to find in Greece. Lavish breakfast. Nicely appointed room. Professional, polite and helpful staff. Convenient location The beds could be of higher quality. we changed rooms due to a sagging mattress. Room we stayed in after was OK
The hotel has a very nice view to the lake and the mountains from the balcony, comfortable room and bed, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, a spacious parking area, easy to reach. The design is a bit dark so they have to add some light to the room.
Hotel is nice, maintained and clean and staff is helpful and polite and they also speak English. Provided services are in good level.
very clean and comfortable rooms. Great price. Didn't seem to have a bar or restaurant open. No business computer center. Needs radio in room.
I rather enjoyed the service, cleanliness and privacy the hotel offered. I also quite liked the architecture of the building and the outside of the hotel. Breakfast could be improved, although it was good quality. I also feel parking directions were missing.
helpful staff, relatively clean room (could be a little better), glasses and dishes were left outside the hotel door for a whole day
Room very comfy and quiet. Good service and food. Nice set up with the pool and restaurant. Everything seemed appealing. The location of the hotel is by the national road.
Very Original interior design both in the rooms and especially the bathrooms The bad smell coming from the laundry of the hotel which is next to the main entrance.
we were very happy with the staff who once realizing the air conditioning was not working in our room they relocated us to a better room at the same price. breakfast was very nice and generally the hotel is lovely but a bit out of the way. there was a whole wing of the hotel where the air conditioning was not working in 38 degree heat!
Beautiful gardens and pool setting. Gorgeous interiors, including pleasantly attractive and very comfy room with balcony and a good-sized marble bathroom. Excellent room service. Some Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful (room service attendant, woman on reception, cleaning attendant), whereas others were not as polished in their approach to customer care/ willing to be of assistance (man on reception, restaurant/ bar person over the phone).
Good service, polite staff The pool closed too early (7pm), and our kids missed it as we checked in at 7:30 pm. Having the schedule for pools/restaurants on the website would be nice
Design, Quiet, Decoration, Very clean, Breakfast buffet variety, Service variety, Not crowed, Easy to find In any case, not a 5-star hotel. Flies on the breakfast buffet, semi-underground room for breakfast, parking space, personnel could be more polite, Smell on the outside
Rooms are incredibly comfortable and hotel is very quiet, so slept peacefully every night. There was one male member of the cafe/bar staff who was exceptionally polite and went out of his way to be helpful. Certain staff were less than polite.
The opening times of spa and gym were different than in the brochure in my room, thus I did not have time to go to gym (as it closed earlier).
Rich breakfast buffet with freshly squeezed orange juice. Very well-decorated and comfortable rooms. Sense of luxury in the lobby. Convenient location. The swimming pool not very exciting and the pool facilities poor. Hotel bar prices too high. Reception staff could smile a bit more.
Besides the excellent condition of the rooms and the incredible breakfast buffet, this hotel's great advantage is that it is within walking distance from the lake where all the bars and restaurants are and the tourist shops. The staff was really polite, the mattress was just about right and the comforting level was really high. One thing I would improve is the swimming pool. This hotel is basically for business meetings but still the pool area and the landscape could be a little more interesting for the other type of guests and for kids too.
the room was great and quiet , the spa very good althougth the prices were high!the lobby was fantastic..
Nice and cosy - comfortable -good location - spa in the hotel -excellent breakfast
a gratifying experience we needed the most
The room's facilities were remarkable, so was its decoration. The hotel gave the chance for a down-town walk thanks to its location. The breakfast was perfect. The extra charge for using the pool.
very good breakfast, perfect and clean room, polite staff, excellent room service. parking the car was a problem, as there were little places for the hotel size
Friendly staff. Excellent service, Very comfortable room. Superb cleanliness. Very relaxing! - Excellent choice of spa treatments.
amazing. Yannis was a great host, very informative on locations and restaurants near by. The room was beautiful and breakfast was wonderful. Nothing.
hospitality, excellent service, very nice people, freindly
Relaxing environment, great hospitality, delicious home-made breakfast!
Hotel: Polite and helpful staff, nice building, clean, beautifully decorated room. Rich breakfast, served at the balcony in front of our room. Location: Ano Pedina is in a convenient location to explore the area of Zagorochoria. Hotel: Value for money could be improved. Not directly relevant to the hotel: a) there was an all-night party at the village square, so it was impossible to sleep one night. Take ear plugs and ask for such events before booking. b) Ano Pedina is not one of the most beautiful villages in the area.
Warm friendly welcome, given hot tea and cake and comfortably seated in lovely reception room. Most comfortable bed in 5 weeks of European travel.Soft ,fluffy bathrobes, slippers & towels. Tealight candles supplied. Breakfast was only cake (?), breads, jams, etc. Should offer cereals, and especially yogurt with greek honey.
warm and friendly environment, great location, very nice breakfast with great variety and taste (...older reviews regarding poor breakfast should not be valid anymore), highly recommended both for couples and group of friends the room was not cleaned everyday
Friendly and polite staff, nice building, nice and clean room. It was really difficult driving to the hotel, with a narrow and slippery street. The hotel is nice, and the effort to transform an old house in a characteristic hotel is appreciable, but for the same price you could easily find other hotels with "international" standards. Ano Pedina village is not the best among the villages in the area.
Staff were all very helpful. Food very good. Mountain scenery amazing.
Very peaceful location in mountains. Large well equipped bedroom.
The Aristi Mountain Resort hotel is a new hotel (only 4 years old), the roomsa are very spacious each with a veranda, beautiful surroundings, the hotel restaurant serves great food, but above all the staff were very helpful and always willing to help
The rooms and common areas are finished superbly using high quality materials. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very obliging and left a good impression despite the breakdown of the air conditioning which made sleeping very difficult despite the comfort of the beds. They provided us with free soft drinks to compensate.
A very pleasant, modern, and efficiently run hotel, European standards. The staff was very helpful.Private parking.Nice breakfast. The elevator was stucked for 2 days at weekend and we had to carry our luggage by hand.
Greece should be proud to have hotels like this one. Great service, the best value for money hotel I personally have stayed in. My stay at this hotel was splendid with very helpful staff, super breakfast with local specialties, and the location was great . I cant imagine how someone would rate this hotel with less than a perfect 10!!!
Congradualations to the people of this hotel, everything was perfect. It is a brand new hotel with excellent service, the breakfast was also excellent, and I am not a person that is easy to please . Keep up the good work .
Everything was great.. The room we stayed was very comfortable, nice decorated, very clean and with all necessary amenities. It's three minutes away of a great cave (Perama cave) and the village Perama is quit and charming. We strongly recommend this hotel.
super breakfast very hot room
One word says it all excellent. From the welcome drink when I arrived to every small detail they know how to treat their customers.Last month I stayed at a 5* hotel in Ioannina the room was ok but the service was terrible, never again.I dont know how they give stars to hotels but this should have 5*.
Hotel is well situated to visit the caves and lakes of Perema. We liked the hotel and the staff tried their best, but read below. Our room was supposed to be air conditioned and as the A/C was not working and there are no screens on the patio doors the heat was stiffling. It was impossible to sleep as the night temperature was still in the high 80's
Staff very helpfull and nice, room very chic, clean, bath amenties renewed every day, free parking, easy to get to town center. Quiet location. Breakfast was always cold (i mean the eggs and ham/sauseges that are usually hot).
Excellent hotel at a great location near the city center , with free private parking. the service was also great and because my job brings me to ioannina quite often I am really glad I discovered this hotel.
The food was amazing at the restaurant, rooms were designed really well nothing at all.
The setting is fantastic - you feel you're on top of the world! The rooms are comfortable (not luxury) and we really liked the "eco/wood" style. Home made cakes for breakfast. You have to leave your car by the church and walk up the steep cobbled village streets to get to the hotel - but they will then come and collect your bags. The word "luxury" is a little misleading (but it is perfectly comfortable for those used to luxury hotels!). The shower-room was small with no window - but well-equipped and fine for a couple of nights. The owners hardly speak English - but they did a great job to make us feel at home.
The owners were so friendly I immediatelly felt like home, the rooms are spacious and very well equiped (big flat tv, dvd, coffee maker etc) and they uniquely combine traditional and modern style, as for the bed, I could spend 2 hours talking about how well I slept and how comfortable the matress was! the breakfast, even though there werent many choices (it's an 8 or 9 room hotel afterall) was tasty (especially the home made jams). Everything else was great too (the view, the bath products) every single detail noticed! there's a drawback to having wooden floors and ceilings: when people from upstairs walk you can hear them. Also there wasn't a phone in my room (which could also be added as a "plus")
We were very dissapionted with the hotel, as would never classify it as small "Luxury" hotel, but as a guest house. Apart of few design items, hotel was eqipped, you do not find anything else. No reception. No telephone line in the room. No car access, you need to park about 200-300 away and climb up to the rooms. The most terrible fing, that thouse 2 nights we staied at the hotel whey didn't have a water!!! We arrived after all day driving and could'n take a shower. In the deep everning water was on... Next morning again off... no morning toitet... We did 8 hours trekking trip in Vikos corge, came back late and againg after all couldn't take shower!!!! No water again. It was horrible. Hotel management is not able to oprete it as hotel.
Very nice small hotel in Zagoria. Beautiful rooms, cosey atmosphere, friendly one-man-staff (out of season). It was beyond our expectations.
nice and cosy room, friendly staff, they helped us with a payment problem the breakfast was english and not traditional, the fireplace in the room was not at our disposal, there was a problem in the use of credit cards, due to old phone network at the village!
The best place to use as a staging point to visit the whole of Zagori if you're going for the first time. It's only a few minutes away with the car from the Vikos gorge and only 30 minutes away from the city of Ioannina.
Everything was fantastic, the owner is a great person, the room, the view, the hotel generally was great! The village is very beautiful with good food and is nicely located in the area. We would like to go again to the Zagorochoria, in which case we will certainly stay there again! :)
Excellent advice on hiking trails from the owners, beautiful architecture, great location with easy acces to Vikos gorge
In a beautiful village, very friendly staff, well looked after buffet and restaurant Could have refrigerator, telephone, the mattress could be anatomic. The way of payment should be as in booking (credit card)
Lovely location in the mountains. Room was large, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Owners very helpful and obliging.
