Pros: Everything was perfectly. Very clean, and a very high level of service. The owner is an extremely pleasant intelligent person, it was very interesting to talk in the evening with a glass of wine and don’t forget about breakfast. If Uzhhorod is only here. I highly recommend 11/10
Pros: We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful modern house. It was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a stable and very fast WiFi connection (around 50Mbps). Smooth check-in/out, parking, green lawn with sun-beds to relax, trees and tasty berries. The hostess, Svetlana, is super hospitable and a perfect communicator (at least in Russian & Ukrainian). A tiny truly friendly dog pleasantly accompanied us in the yard. We felt like at home. Highly recommended.
Pros: Quiet place not so far from the old town.Very friendly host. There is possibility to order delicious breakfast. Possibility parking a car into courtyard. Good solution for people looking for peaceful environment and who have their own car.
Pros: Everything was beautiful,as it said on booking.Host is nice and pleasant

Pros: The room very was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful - receptionist ordered taxi for us (the hostel is quite far from main bus station but the city centrum is near by foot). The breakfast is served and you can choose from 4 types of breakfast.
Pros: Loved the red doors to the bathroom and the radio lamp which created the perfect rest atmosphere.
Pros: Friendly people. Our bicycles could be parked inside. Very nice decoration of hotel and room in Andy Warhol and Keith Haring theme. Very colorful. Spacious and very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Good WiFi. Delicious breakfast buffet. It’s a nice stroll to the city center along the river.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Pros: The room is really large and I enjoyed its style very much. The air condition is quiet and it is far enough from the beds that you do not feel the cold draught.
Cons: The breakfast is not bad, but definitely not as good as reported in other reviews. There is a fair selection of foods (cheeses, sausages, eggs, pancakes, vegetable salads and fresh vegetable) and some of them are tasty but most is just average.
Pros: Super cool design Big rooms Well equipped rooms Everything is brand new and clean Music when you enter the room Walking distance to airport, takes about 25 minutes
Cons: Street to hotel is dark and unlit at night Corridor lighting switches on via motion sensor so is completely dark until it senses you there
Pros: Good place, close to the riverside and city center, tennis corts right at the hotel. Not big, but comfortable parking. Tasty breakfast. Very clean, quite spacious and stylish rooms, special respect to designers! Strongly recommed to visit this place! Thank you guys for such impressions!
Cons: The only thing I would add for perfectness - elevator, but nobody is perfect in this world ))
Pros: Great modern hotel , Andy Warhol at the entrance , Good breakfast they changed it since last year now its all you can eat breakfast. Last year you could choose from 4 breakfasts. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Its a non smoking hotel but You can smoke on the terrace so its okey. Fast check in. Parking for free also . Wifi strong enough. 4 x 0,5l water for free in the room
Cons: I didn't like the checkout because the receptionist asked me if I had something from the minibar the answer was NO, and she called the cleaner on her phone to send her to my room to check if its really true??? I mean the whole good experience was gone ... its just not polite .. and of course the answer was that I really didn't take anything .

Cons: Very low water pressure in bathroom.
Cons: A little bit too many stairs for a 71 years. Otherwise nothing is imperfect.
Pros: Excellent hostel: 1. Clean (cleaning staff can work in a 5 star hotel!) 2. Location: close to main attractions, market etc 3. Beds are comfortable, individual light, privacy courtains, lockers 4. Toilets with soap, bathtube, very small towel provided, you can wash your clothes too 5. Staff is nice and professional 6. Large fully furnished kitchen: you can easily prepare your own meals. All perfect!
Cons: Consider that If you have mobility problems this hostel is not suitable for you. 4th floor with no elevator and some rooms on 5th floor.
Pros: Cleanliness of the hotel room/bathroom Check in whenever you come
Cons: 4th floor without any elevator
Pros: Room was clean and well-furnished. Room with two singles didn't cost too much more. Large dining area where one can also use a laptop. Friendly staff. Balcony for smokers.
Cons: Four flights of stairs.
Pros: very good value for money, great location, close to everything, well-equipped facilities, helpful staff, clean rooms/ bathrooms, good WIFI too!
Cons: The hostel will be so much more successful if more of their staff start to learn more English.
This hotel is set in the historic centre of Uzhgorod, a 15-minute walk from the Uzhgorod Castle. Free parking and a 24-hour reception is featured at Flying Dutchman Hotel. The bright, air-conditioned rooms offer warm-coloured interiors and classic-style décor. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a private bathroom. A variety of cafés and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. A bus stop on Svobody Prospekt is 200 metres from Flying Dutchman Hotel. Uzhgorod Train Station is 1.5 km away, and Uzhgorod International Airport is 2 km from the hotel.
Pros: Very nice place, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Pros: The house is very nice itself. Nicely decorated premises and rooms with the Flying Dutchman hanging from the ceiling in the dining room being the top piece. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Local wine is included in the minibar. The local brewery Ungweiser with delicious beers and food is just in front. Highly recommend to everybody!
Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful staff (helped organize earlier check in for me). Nice location - easy walking distance to the center. Hotel facilities provided all that was expected and the hotel was clean.
Cons: You couldn't chose your breakfast - you get whatever is cooked that day and no one asks your preferences (omelet or pancakes). That being said - they put in an effort to provide variety - each day cooking something else.
Pros: Good sized rooms, well appointed. Friendly family run hotel staff.. Good breakfast. Good walking location to the river, the old town center, restaurants, cafes and other points of interest.
Cons: Tha Mansard rooms on the upper floor are not easy to ventilate or air condition.
Pros: Perfect location in the centre of the town, but still peaceful at night. Good room, with comfortable bed, and fridge which also serves as a minibar where you can buy excellent local wines by the bottle for a low price. Interesting breakfast room with a giant model of the Flying Dutchman. Breakfast ok.
Cons: If you want coffee instead of tea at breakfast you have to pay extra. No big amount, but annoying anyway.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is quite funky with the flying ship above the restaurant. Our room on the top floor was bigger than expected, with nice wooden furniture and a comfy bed. The breakfast was very nice.
Cons: The location is perhaps not right in the historic center but if you walk along the river towards the center and the castle it is a very nice walk in an alley full of life. All was really good, a nice surprise.
Pros: Close to city center, hotel and rooms were very clean and big! Very nice boutique style hotel in the city.
Cons: The hotel was a bit more expensive (3900 UAE for 6 people, 3 rooms), definitely above local standard. The breakfast could have been a bit better (was average).
Pros: Super friendly and accommodating personnel. A family environment. Excellent breakfasts. Super decor in dining room.
Cons: The only possible complaint is that because of the design of the building there sometimes is echoing up the stairways from the lobby.
Alina Hotel & Hostel is set in Uzhhorod, 37 km from Mukacheve and 49 km from Polyana. Alina Hotel & Hostel features free WiFi throughout the property. A flat-screen TV with cable channels is available. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. Michalovce is 31 km from Alina Hotel & Hostel, while Humenné is 45 km from the property.
Pros: Excellent location, friendly staff, clean facilities
Cons: The walls in the building are not soundproofed at all; we could hear very clearly as other guests closed doors, used the bathroom, had sex, etc. It sounded like they were next to us in our room, and this was quite unpleasant.
Pros: Really nice hotel! I didn't expect such a nice room for such price, good location with parking, grocery store and bunch of restaurants
Cons: You can hear all the noise from neighbors room. I heard how neighbor was snoring
Pros: Location is great. We could check-in at 3:30 am. Bathroom and furniture in the room were rather nice. The room felt quite cozy, despite somewhat old overall look.
Cons: Almost no sound proofing, we could hear other people in the corridor. The furniture in the room is ok, but overall the room renocations looked quite old. We had to make the beds ourselves. The guy at the reception looked somewhat annoyed. For the price we payed we expected more, there are places in Uzhhorod where you can get same value but for lower price (we were limited by arrival at 3 am though).
Pros: the bed
Pros: Comfortable and clean
Cons: Daytime Staff who can't and won't try to communicate in English
Pros: I stayed in a private room. It was large and comfortable, clean, with friendly staff available 24 hours. It is located absolutely in the center of the city, so 24-hour shops, tourist sites, restaurants, parks, and public transportation are all right outside the hotel.
Cons: The wifi was the biggest problem. It barely connected and rarely was a strong enough connection to check email. Streaming videos or using social media was impossible. For my entire stay, I had to use my phone as an internet hotspot that my computer used for internet, requiring that I had to pay around 600 UAH for my phone's data plan while staying at this hotel, which is more than the cost of an extra night at the hotel! The rooms are not soundproofed, so you can easily hear anyone walking down the hallway and other guests coming or going. However, the staff is aware of this and tries to keep people quiet when walking near the rooms.
Pros: The staff was very nice and kindly provided us with a place to leave our bikes. The hotel have good placement.
Cons: There aren't many items but you can see that when choose hotel. The weather was very hotly when we was there so we lacked air conditioning. From what is not obvious: you always hear the sounds and conversations from the hallway and the reception desk, this can be a major disadvantage for someone.
Pros: very good as always! we stay in this proprerty every time. clean, safe, nice receptionists, good location.
Pros: lokation is perfect. Close to the city center and the cosy restaurants. There is an elevator, that is very helpful as the hotel/hostel is situeted on the last floor of the four stored building. My room was to the right side, and faced inside yard with trees and no street noise.
Cons: Some discomfort was made by the foodstore on the first floor of the building that turned to be an alko center by the evening. The time I was into it, the kids from some school were there on some tour I guess. And it was quite noisy. But I heard them only while they were in the corridor, as they were mowed to the rooms, it was silence again.

Cons: In my opinion, it was cold there. Even in the restaurant.
Pros: Silence,clean room,nice people.
Cons: Very clean. Quite place. Nice personal. EU standard.

Cons: Nothing, it was a great experience
Pros: Very hoapitable personell, very clean, fabolous dinner
Cons: Old room
Pros: Very nice staff, great breakfast and location - my family and I were very pleased! The only thing that I would probably like to add to the room is the shower cabin in the bathroom.
Cons: There are simply nothing.
Pros: Everything was superb. Staff is awesome, rooms are comfortable, relaxing and clean. Gym is well equipped and restaurant offers quality food.
Cons: Beds are comfortable but I didn’t appreciate the pillow, just for taste, I’m used to sleep on harder ones.
Pros: The hotel was centrally situated in Uzhhorod. The facilities were good and staff professional and helpful.
Cons: There was a trend to charge for extras - such as a cooked breakfast and hotel parking despite the apparent space surrounding the hotel. The emphasis appeared to position the hotel for the border guests with designer clothes shop in the hotel and aspirational cuisine. The menu and food served in the restaurant was decidedly odd. An aspirational menu and well presented but a mish mash of flavours. Disappointing as had envisaged a genuine Ukrainian experience.
Pros: Great location, fabulous breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: No swimming pool only deep bath with cold water, if you want to use jacuzzi must be book in advance at least 2 hours, on the website said this hotel has swimming pool which is not truth... , bed was very noisy and mattress was very uncomfortable
Pros: Great location and nice staff! Breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice in the restaurant with multiple menus.
Cons: We were not in the room that we had originally booked with a sofa bed.

Very nice and helpful staff, we understood each other even we were not speaking Russian. They prepared very tasty and delicious breakfast for a small fee on whatever time in the morning we choose.
Pros: I liked that I could choose from a few menus for breakfast. Location was ok.
Cons: Exiting the yard in the car was through the small kitchen, but it was ok
Pros: Large room, full breakfast, good location, quiet surroundings
Cons: No fridge and kettle.
Pros: good shower and room

Located in Turichki, Zelena Sadyba features a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Guest rooms in the guest house are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Zelena Sadyba offers a terrace. Polyana is 45 km from the accommodation, while Uzhhorod is 42 km away.
Pros: Very clean, good facilities of the resort (restaurant, swimming pool, vat), delicious cuisine, friendly personnel, beautiful nature around, possibilities for excursions ( although expensive), lovely dogs :) They would have menu in English, and some English speaking personnel, although we did not make use of them ourselfs.
Cons: When we arrived, we were asked to pay more than was agreed via booking, because they increased the price in the mean time. Usually in such situation the hotel either notifies the clients in advance and asks for additional confirmation ( we had free cancellation without prepayment), or the client still pays the old agreed price ( how we did at other hotel in Ukraine in the same situation). There are not many possibilities for longer hikes from the hotel ( only along the main road), and proposed guided hike excursions are expensive. The restaurant is good, but more expensive than other restaurants in the area. Our room (3-persons) was just above the kitchen, so we could smell every prepared meal...
Pros: The location and the facilities are really great. The best approximation to “Japanese onsen” style recreation in Ukraine.
Cons: More client-oriented service would be appreciated from the administrator. She is a great professional cook and maybe is a good hotel manager, but her communication style with guests reminds of classical Soviet-era hotels:(
Pros: New part of the hotel is really beautiful :)
Pros: Beautiful location, excellent facilities, the food is all superbly home cooked in traditional style, friendly helpful staff. The rooms are lovely, warm, very clean and modern.
Cons: Honestly can't think of anything
Pros: Very nice place, everything you need is for recreation.
Cons: We paid instead of 15 UAH for nuts 90 UAH be careful when they bring you a invoice for food.
Pros: The food and the waitresses were so nice. They really make you feel like you are at home.
Pros: Zelena Sadyba is located at spectacular green place of the Ukrainian Karpats. The resort consist of several nicely fitted buildings in the local style. The food in the restaurant is unique, taking into account the seasonal offer of mushrooms, bilberry, etc. Personel is helpful and very kind in all the situation. We specialy enjoyed the ukrainain bath and local meal.
Pros: I particularly liked the fact that the property is a bit further away from all other villas and hotels in the village, few kilometers before entering Lumshory. I found it peaceful and super nice, you have a feeling that the mountains belong only to you.
Pros: we liked here very much, especially the children. the quality of service is top! the dishes are home made and from fresh products.the area around hotel is well organized as for the children, as for the adults. swimming pool, chan s are super! the owner is adorable, we felt ourselves like Royal family. Thanks!we'll come next time for longer time.
Cons: nothing concerning this hotel, just bad roads around

Pros: Wonderful place, wonderful people!!!!! Hoping to getting back there someday
Pros: Super lovely hosts, great hidden treasure in a green valley, absolutely amazing wellness in a hot pot
Cons: The street up the hill can be tricky for some cars
Pros: Amazing wiew place and full creative ideas of "koliba" items. Ideal place for the rest as well to making party in the nature. Wanderfull countryside. One of the most beautiful and romantic place I have ever seen.
Cons: There is not written on Booking pages that you absolutely cannot get there by clasic car.
Pros: The place, the house, the view, the people
Cons: The mattress was not comfertable

Pros: It's simply the beautiful place. No complaints, everything was great and above the expectation. Friendly staff, good service, restaurant, botanic park and spa center was great.
Cons: Due to huge territory might be a little bit uncomfortable during rainy days. Nevertheless, it is always good to have a little walk through the beautiful trail.
Pros: The tranquility and range of facilities.
Cons: It was difficult to enter the location details in the sat nav and the road signage is poor. The details should include the latitude and longitude and more signs should be erected both before arrival and at arrival. Within the site there is a need for more signs to the spa area, restaurant etc. P
Pros: Amazon, picturesque place, clear air, beautiful territory, helpful staff. Good breakfast & spa fascilities. I recommend to visit on low season, to enjoy all the fascilities nearly alone.
Pros: Territory was awesome. The concept and calm atmosphere. And the level of service is really great. Room has everything needed. Food at the restaurant, if you order, is great.
Cons: It's still in development, few places are closed, only Apartment hotel is functional. SPA zone is not so big, and there is not much to choose from for the breakfast.
Pros: Beautiful grounds and flowers, many activities, nice apartments. Good food. Many staff to answer any questions. Peaceful. Has washing machine, which was useful during our longer stay.
Cons: It would have been nice if the pool was included in the price. Not near any big town, but small stores are down the road. Shower would let a little water on to the floor.
Pros: It's very picturesque place with amazing facilities. We enjoyed every day of staying.
Cons: More options for breakfast are welcomed )

Located in a historical villa, this property is set just 50 metres from the Uzhgorod Castle and offers a wine cellar with tasting sessions. Pros: Good-sized room, breakfast in the garden
Cons: Hopelessly cramped toilet, view of ugly walls from all windows
Pros: Beautiful place, clean, fantastic quiet location right near the castle.
Cons: Moderate smell of sewage in the bathroom. Mediocre breakfast (option 2)
Pros: Central location, very nice house, breakfast in the garden
Pros: Great central location. Nice bathroom.
Cons: It was cold!! And the A/C remote wasn't in room! The room was unbelievably small, due to roof construction. No drinking water in the room, just Pepsi- the only option for minibar. Very limited breakfast choise.
Pros: Everything was amazing, helpful and kind staff, great breakfasts.
Pros: Location, the room and the staff.
Pros: Parking on location and breakfast was ok.
Cons: Staff didn't speak any ukrainian or english. How can you not speak Ukrainian in a Ukrainian city? Hotel is dated. Lobby is very modern and room is ok, but the rest of the property is old and needs updating. Far from everything except the castle, which is down the road. Restaurant was not open, and neither was the wine cellar.
Royal luxury combined with modern design - it is such comfortable conditions that will delight modern “kings” and “queens”. Guests are invited to stay in one of the buildings of the hotel complex - “Camelot”, “King Arthur”, “Lancelot” - or choose a cottage built from environmentally friendly local wood. The interiors of the hotel rooms are made in a classic style with a predominance of warm colors. You would find yourself in the Middle Ages, because the hotel will remind you of a real castle. Once in such a fabulous atmosphere, it's hard not to imagine yourself as a wonderful knight or magic maid of honor. And a little tale and inspiration is exactly what is so lacking among serious working days.
Pros: Nice hotel near the castle hill, the SPA is amazing.
Pros: SPA, Restaurants
Cons: Some places in room was dirty!
Pros: It’s located in a beautiful place
Cons: There were no curtain on the shower, so after the shower the whole bathroom was full of water, we couldn’t close the door properly only if we slam it from outside. The music was too loud all night because of the wedding. In the morning the cleaners entered the room without knocking on the door, while both of us were naked...
Pros: Nice location, quiet place, very good food, big room
Cons: Bathroom could have been cleaner

Pros: Comfortable, big room, very good location, nice staff.
Cons: Small renovations should be already done in the hostel.
Pros: The price for 2 bed room was very well balanced. Had big shared kitchen, spacious room, wardrobe, working desk (might be one chair only), TV included. Location was central. Had elevator to get to the 4th floor.
Cons: No luggage storage, locker. Actually they stored my luggage in the hall, but at my own risk, so I had to carry laptop with me all day long. They key is mechanical and have to go to reception whenever you leave/come back. No hangs at close distance in shower, so if you get naked you need to walk a bit out of cabin. Or have to manage to keep towel somewhere around. Not sure whether it was mixed shower or men only. If mixed - then the situation even more complicated.
Pros: Clean bed light and individual power plug
Cons: No privacy for shower... Difficult to climb up the ledder for the bed

The complex include parking, big garden with opening siting, small playground and summer house. Room ,, suita junior" was large, comfortable with big washroom, also TV, sofa, chairs, table. The main bed was very large, super and ideal for 4 person family. In the Hotel is sauna with small pool. Complex, include the cuisine with option of breakfast, lunch and dinner. The centrum of Uzgorod take 10-15 min by car or taxi. From our point of view the ratio between the price, locality and service is expressly excellency.
Cons: Only small thinks. The right address of Complex is Uzhanska Street 30 in Storozhnytsya. Not Uzgorod! The service of staff was adequate, but as it were as it improve.
Cons: Noise from the street

Pros: Everything was great
Cons: You cannot pay with credit card
Pros: Heaven! You must try it!
Pros: very nice location, very few people on the trail path around, amazing nature, hotel was very clean, rooms comfortable, modern, everything working properly, helpful staff, parking right at the door, no stress leaving in the morning
Cons: there were in our case only 2 minus points, one very serious, they do not accept credit cards, therefore we could not buy something we wanted in advance, because we would run out of money and could not pay for the hotel... at least they did accept euros, and they set the exchange rate very fair. then, second point, menu in restaurant was only in ukrainian, and only in azbuka, well, we did not understand anything, but still the staff was helpful and we could enjoy very good and cheap dinner

Cons: Road to hotelis s bad
Pros: Nice quite area for family rest with good spa (but make sure u book in advance), pool and decent restaurant with large kids menu.
Cons: Road to it
Cons: Food - oil and fat was everywhere. Even when I ordered grilled chicken it was served in a way I've got an impression it was fried in a huge amount of oil.
Cons: Very expensive for what it is
Pros: The place where the resort is located. It has been my second time there but 5 years later. Nice to realize that atmospher hasn't changed-quiet and distant from any noise, few people, wonderful nature. Great air to breathe and tasty water to drink.
Cons: It takes ages to make an oder at the restaurant, but from another side the pace is much slower there. Better to adjust to it and enjoy that impromptness.
