Opt for a Room at the Back
To avoid noise from the main road, consider requesting a room at the back of the hotel or on the first floor if you are a light sleeper.
Consider Room Size and Layout
Some rooms have windows facing the patio or passages where other guests walk, impacting privacy. Guests sensitive to privacy may want to consider this when choosing a room.
Check Room Amenities
Some guests found the rooms to be dark and lacking in natural light. Consider this when booking, especially if natural light is important to you.
Be Mindful of Noise Levels
The hotel's colonial architecture may result in thin walls and ceilings, leading to noise from neighboring rooms. Light sleepers may want to consider this aspect.
Request Assistance with Luggage
If you have heavy luggage, be aware that there may be steep staircases and limited personnel to assist with carrying luggage to your room. Consider requesting assistance if needed.
Consider Bathroom Size
Some guests found the bathrooms to be tight on space, particularly the overall size of the bathroom. Keep this in mind when booking if bathroom space is a priority for you.
Enjoy the Inner Courtyard
Take advantage of the tranquil inner garden and courtyard for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, especially during breakfast or for evening relaxation.
Note the Lack of Air Conditioning
The hotel does not have air conditioning, which may be a consideration for guests who prefer cooler room temperatures. Fans can be requested, but keep this in mind when booking.
Check for Electrical Outlets
Some rooms may have limited electrical outlets, particularly near the bed. If this is important to you, consider inquiring about the availability of electrical outlets in your room.
Consider Noise from Outside
The hotel's location may result in noise from the outside at nighttime, which could potentially affect light sleepers.
