Everything was surprisingly great. Not spectacular but was more than I expected given the bargain. N/A
Rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good (waffles with berries or chocolate chips as an option, eggs, bacon/sausage, oatmeal with berries or brown sugar as an option, Danishes, bagels, toast, mixed seasonal fruit, yogurt, multiple cereals...the list goes on and on. The desk staff was very attentive and always smiling. It was an awesome time overall!!! The only thing that bothered us upon arrival was that the pool was closed for maintenance because of the ph levels. The lady at the front desk told us that the hotel across the road was letting us use theirs. We were disappointed about having to share a pool with 2 hotels' worth of guests, but it was WONDERFUL!!! We even had it to ourselves for a while and only shared with one other family the rest of the time. The pool at our hotel was back up and running before breakfast the next morning. We really appreciated the lady at the front desk going out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay!!! It was awesome!!!
I asked the front desk to call me a cab to pick me up at 6. They did and the person came on time and when I walked out to get in I told the woman hello and she rudely said hold on and walked right past me into the lobby to go talk to the front desk person. She came back out and seemed annoyed that it was just me needing the car. (I also noticed right away that she didn't have any sort of taxi light or information in her car which makes me think this was just a friend of the front desk guy). I told her where I wanted to go and she seemed annoyed that I wasn't going to the popular Nashville strip and told me it would be $35. I then told her I only had a card and she tried refusing service saying that she didn't have her card reader with her. I told her I only had a card and she tried saying she would take me to an ATM. I said no and she looked back and said "so what are we going to do?" I replied I was going to have to call another cab company and she magically remembered that there was another way to take a card and we finally got on our way. What should've been a 20 minute drive turned into 45 minutes with someone calling her phone off the hook so she kept missing turns from the GPS and took me through the shadiest part of Nashville. When we finally reached the address she pointed to a building and said that was where I needed to go. I paid her and she left and I noticed the number on the building was incorrect. I pulled out my phone and looked up where the place was and she had dropped me off 1.4 miles away from my destination! As a female traveling alone for work in an unfamiliar city I was scared and uncomfortable and couldn't call the cab place back because the hotel had called them for me and I didn't know the number. When my husband called the hotel to explain what had happened they were completely unsympathetic and said I needed to just call the cab company and complain to them. This place is in the middle of nowhere and the staff do not care about putting you in dangerous situations.
Staff is very helpful and courteous Clean but not immaculate
Breakfast Distance to Nashville and difficulty getting to the Hotel off of the expressway
We enjoyed our stay. My husband and I just wanted to take a small trip to Nashville. This hotel was nice bc it was only about 20min away from the city and not a bad price for 3 nights. (Around $330) The staff was very friendly and our room was always clean when we returned. The breakfast is better than any hotel breakfast I have previously had. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is pretty basic but if that is what you are looking for it is the perfect place to stay. We have no complaints and when we travel we typically try to stay at a Hampton Inn bc they are pretty consistent.
Everything. Except pillows The pillows way too soft stayed at other hamptoms had a variety of pillows on each bed
We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but when we were there everything was nice. The staff was friendly, the room was typical for a Hampton, and the food was good. The outside of the hotel looks kind of shabby, but the inside makes up for that.
Friendly and helpful staff. People at desk did what they could to answer all questions and give directions. Hotel is clean and in a good location for our trip to see Nashville Original reservation was lost. Reserved two king rooms, only one was available. Other couple received a double room on first night. That room had a clogged bathtub. They got the king room the following day. Not a good start but ended ok. They were comped the first night for the inconvenience
The transvestite hooker walking around the balconies was bad enough. But the fighting at 12:30am between the mexican and the black man outside my window was inexcusable.
Overall, this hotel provided reasonably priced accommodation with easy, swift access to Nashville. The manager, Mrs Patel, was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.
We had excellent service in one of the restaurants. Also, the Christmas decorations were beautiful. It was raining and you couldn't pull up to the overhead shelter to unload your car. They made you park (an obscene $24.00 per day to park) and unload your car and walk to the entrance. They had shut down one of the check in stations just before we arrived, consequently we were probably 50th in line to check in. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. The line was even longer an hour later. Directions to our room (the place is huge) were very confusing and the elevator to our room was out of order. We took the stairs. Also, one of the escalators was out of order as well. Only two pillows per bed. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the next night. Four pillows per bed. Smaller room but more comfortable and much less expensive. Will not go back.
People are nice The room was tiny for the price Poor directions and signage
Setting, and scenario was very soothing. Ample check in staff so lines moved fairly fast Overpriced rate of hotel + all eating establishments within. MIght as well join up with Disney on pricing models. Resort fee was add-on that doesn't rate for the 2 bottles of water on day one, and internet service hookup. $40 for 2 days, plus I guess holding our bags for 3 hours pre-airport run. Uber your ride to Airport you'll save 100% of their shuttle.
I booked this 2 days prior to a training at the hotel and it turned out to be the most spectacular room. I am going back with my family. It's a truly unique and magnificent experience. The type of room I had was huge with a Murphy bed and electric fireplace along with a dining room table for six and living room. The private double balcony overlooked the cascades. For a business training it was expensive even with a great rate the extra respect fees like parking are high but the resort was beautiful. I had problems with my in room coffee maker and they delivered a new one.
After staying a night in a room without a tub, they were willing to switch rooms for us to a room with a tub. The first king room we stayed in didn't have a tub or a microwave. The shower had the hair from whoever stayed there last on the floor which was disgusting. The night before we stayed at a comfort inn for more than half the price to save money and that room was actually much nicer than the Gaylord. Wish I would've just saved the money and stayed at the comfort inn and driven in to the Gaylord to walk around it for a couple hours. Also having to paying $26 a night in parking per vehicle is ridiculous and another way they squeeze you for every fume they can.
Lots of amenities but all prices were raised to an extreme also had reserved a king bedroom many months prior and was told on arrival that they were all booked suddenly so had to spend and extra 110 each night for an upgraded room
I did like the beauty of the place. Too overpriced for the hotel. The price is ridiculous. Will not be staying here again. I will get a much nicer hotel for the money the next visit to Nashville. Everything is so spread out and I did not get a chance to even walk to the Grand Ole Opry. Room service for 2 people was around $80. I had men's beard clippings in the bathroom. I have stayed in better resort hotels. This 2 day stay cost over $1000!!! Not at all worth the cost.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It was nice to walk around all the property and see all the plants, flowers and shops. We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool in the evenings. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not like that we had to walk so far to get to our room. We parked in self park. There was not anywhere close to drive up our car and unload. We had to bring our luggage from the parking lot to our room which was a very long walk. Every time we left, we had that long walk to our car and then back to the room. I would have been lost and not able to find my way most of the time if my husband, who has a great since of direction, had not been with me.
The hotel is beautiful and has lots of ammenities. Way too many kids unsupervised. Kids throwing shows off balconies and jumping in and out of the hot tub.
Parlor room does not include a bed. Just a pull out couch. Shower temps tyre was either freezing or scalding. The smell of whatever cleaner they use was overwhelming. Also charge a $20 mandatory resort fee.
The place was amazing eye candy. The gardens and water features are so beautiful. We had a great time walking around throughout the place. The headboard on one of the beds had a few places where the vinyl had peeled off. There was no liner for our ice bucket and underneath the bucket was a hair tie, which leads me to think, the room wasn't cleaned properly. Also didn't like the hidden servic fees tagged on to our bill which where explained as, "that pays for the complimentary wifi, 2 bottled water" and what would seem to be our privilege of walking around and looking at the hotel.
The rooms were up-scale, lovely bedding, and a very comfy bed. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Full breakfast was complimentary along with an evening "happy hour" including food and cocktails! Also, free shuttle to Airport and into town. As of 3/17/17 the Spa was under repair/reconstruction, so that was not in use.
The hotel staff was very friendly and the location was very convenient to the highway. The breakfast was very good each morning and the price point was excellent! A great deal!! Although it looked like some updating and surface remodeling has been done there were some rusty spots near the ac and in the bathroom it from humidity or condensation.
The location was nice close to where I needed to be. There was at least one nice staff member I seen while I was there always had a smile on her face very friendly. I believe she worked the night shift. The floor was filthy turned the bottoms of my feet black the shower area had a stuffy mildew smell. The pool hours could of been longer. The room was dark and the a/c didn't cool the room down much.
Breakfast buffet was awesome Rooms need improvement
Close to airport. Hotel located in cell phone dead zone. Wifi was weak on the back side of hotel. No help from staff. No restaurants nearby for food.
Was not as "fancy" as I thought it would be for the price & compared to the photos.
good moring free breakfast kept spraying room deodorizer in room..asked desk to tell house keeping not to use spray in room...poor results..still used spray..on third nite night clerk moved us up stairs to a room that was not sprayed.. I believe that room deodorizer was to cover up the smell of bug killer..did see roach on T.V. cabinet
I like that snacks were served in the evening as well as breakfast, the food was good I liked having a small living room in the king bed suite, worked out well to have friends who were staying up the hall hang out in our room clean rooms, liked the lay outs of the king bed suites black out curtains could have been better (able to close all the way) freeway traffic was sort of noisey
Comfortable bed excellent full breakfast minor technical and maintenance problems noted no DVD player
Breakfast bar in morning was great, rooms were nice. There was very loud noise coming from above our rooms (even could hear in hallway) that couldn't sleep through, but when told front desk was very dismissive saying was highway traffic. No, it was the plumbing from above us we figured out because every time someone above would flush the pipes went crazy. So no sleep for us =( Also our fridge didn't work.
The staff was awesome, they were as nice and helpful as possible. It could be cleaner, (disguised with dark colors and decorations).
Friendly staff and loved the weekday happy hour!
Location Booked a king room, but when we checked in they gave us a room with two double beds. I had the reservation confirmation that showed a king room, but they said they had no king beds available. They did not offer to give us a discount, but "upgraded" us to a double room that had two bottles of water, a candy bar, bag of chip, bag of snack mix and two drink vouchers.
Great spot. Close to everything. Clean, comfortable room, nice lounge! Friendly staff.
The proximity to downtown and the courtesy of the staff. The hotel manager was great to work with and happily resolved the main issue we had. There was no indication that parking was valet only, or that it would cost an additional $35 per night. I think the A/C in the hotel rooms needs an overhaul, the actual room never got close to the temperature set on the thermostat, it wasn't unbearably hot; but it sure wasn't 65 either.
Location to Broadway, in-house Starbucks and bar. The windows were leaking because they were poorly sealed which leaked condensation and the wall paint was peeling because of the moisture. The room smelled like a locker room because of the mold growth. We paid to be close to Broadway but I expected the room wouldn't smell like a locker room and have black mold. Thank god we didn't have to spend much time in the room. If we didn't have the mold and the stench, stay would have been great.
Proximity to downtown and attractions Hotel is a bit worn out
Nice room, clean, cookies, and nice staff. Parking was extremely expensive. Also, this should be noted in your booking as it is an added expense.
location, location, location great staff starbucks in the hotel parking is a bit high
No Cribs were available during our one night stay unfortunately.
Bathrooms a little dated
I was woke up shortly after 5am by the construction crew banging with sirens and screaming. It was horrible. The hotel said they didn't know ahead of time a complete lie the building next door has been being built for over a year i found out. The wake up call (not that i got any sleep) was a half hour earlier than requested. Room service was horrible the food was not good and it took over an hour (nearly an hour and a half) to get a club sandwich. The delivery girl pandered for a tip suggesting there was no tip already included and telling me how people weren't answering the door when she was trying to deliver food. I tipped her only to find out room service charges 21% tip built into the bill plus a delivery fee of $2.50 on top of that. The room had a barely working toilet, some of the lights did not work, the fridge had no adjustment and would freeze everything solid, the fan in the bathroom was, also not working. Valet parking guys were great very friendly and professional. $35 per day is awfully high for valet at a hotel that has no parking at all to accommodate their guests except the valet option or you can go drive around downtown and find a public lot. I stayed in a suite that i paid extra for. I would highly recommend this valet service but i wouldn't stay at this hotel until the construction next door is finished at the vet least. I will not stay here again.
We loved the quick easy check in and the complimentary breakfast buffet! Omelets were made to order and delivered to our table, and the wait staff couldn't be nicer! They even asked if we were finished eating before breaking down the buffet...for those of us with sleepy teenagers this was a real plus! We picked this hotel because it was located downtown and we like to be in walking distance of tourist attractions when we travel. Location was good, but be aware that this hotel is located up the hill from the downtown area...and it's a pretty steep hill! For women wearing heels it can be a bit of a challenge!
Very nice accomodations... walking distance to all the activities on broadway street... restaurants, pubs, tourist shops and nightlife! We checked in hours before the blizzard hit and the highways shut down... Hotel staff was very limited, but did their very best to accomodate our every need. The lounge is adequate... a limited but very good menu. And live music at night. Clean room and friendly staff... whats not to like???
The rooms where clean, staff was very friendly will most definitely be staying again. The pillows was great and fluffy but once you head hit them it went flat.
I have never stayed at a filthier place in my life. It turns out that they gave me a room that had not been turned over from the last guest. Yes, I slept in a bed with sheets from the last guest! When they found out about this it took them 4 hours to clean the room. STAY A WAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely nothing. The conference I had to attend. But the hotel had nothing to do with that!
Little disappointed that there is no complimentary breakfast.
The lobby The dirty carpet. The garbage left in the nightstand from a previous guest. The location. The staff.
Checked in later than 3, of course with no issues. Was upgraded when checking in, was never told why. But the room Was fantastic and soft beds are always lovely. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.
Liked how it is always quiet and the location to airport is the big reason we like it. Only major complaint was the bed was shot. Felt like the middle had fallen out but if that was the worst then I'll survive :)
quiet, upscale nothing
The staff, the quiet, the cleanliness. However a new employee, I believe, forgot to call me for my requested wake up.
Clean, wide open rooms with comfy beds and the balcony is cool too No complaints
We only stayed one night but we enjoyed our stay immensely. The bed was huge and comfortable. The room was clean and bug free. The indoor pool and hot tub were both clean and not super busy while we were there. The facility is beautiful. Highly recommend! No continental breakfast but there is breakfast available for purchase (no review on the food, as we are elsewhere).
Looks lovely on the outside, beds comfortable. Brought us a refrigerator upon request. Carpet in hallways worn out.
Check in and check out was nice and easy. Most of cleaning staff did not speak English. Had a hornets nest outside the balcony, very unpleasant. Bathroom could of been cleaner. No continental breakfast.
Beautiful remodel... Lobby and public areas were gorgeous. The room was very cute too Room was a little small, and elevators were slow
Great location for visiting the Ryman and very clean and well run. Will visit again when returning to Nashville for pleasure.
The new interior decor Staff seemed clueless, didn't know the breakfast place in the hotel wasn't open.
Nicely decorated. Great views! Staff were very nice! This hotel was very nice except for the fact that our room was connected to the room next door and we could hear everything that was said/going on in the room next door. This definitely made us paranoid that they could also hear us. Very frustrating.
Great location. Staff was very professional and friendly. Went out of their way to make our accommodations perfect.
Lobby was beautiful. Staff friendly and very willing to help Towels were rough. Water pressure in shower weak
The hotel recently underwent a 25 million dollar renovation and it was impressive! The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy and we had a great view of the city! With such a massive renovation, I would expect fabulous bathrooms. And they were not. At all. The worst part of our stay was having to pay $30 to park our car on top of the $240 we paid for the room. That alone is enough to make me hose another hotel next time I stay in downtown Nashville!
My wife and I went to Nashville for the country nightlife. The location was the best! Everything was within walking distance. On the night it rained, the hotel provided us with a free shuttle! The gym was far beyond expectations as well, great equipment and clean.
booked for the distance to downtown Nashville, so very walkable, very safe; however, had we realized that the CMA had just occurred two days earlier, we probably would have booked earlier than we did and been able to find something more affordable and just as convenient. given that we were already paying $350 for just 2 double beds, there was a $15 charge for internet service and $28 for parking (or $32 for valet parking). We parked at an outdoor lot just down the street and so saved $8 a day; the room was not very spacious and just had one chair to sit in other than the two double beds.
Great location, great view of downtown, very nice facilities I reserved a deluxe suite according to the pictures online. The room was not near luxurious as the pictures, especially the bathroom.
Upon arrival my room was not ready at the check in time, so the front desk gave us a voucher for some cocktails and apps to enjoy in the library lounge. Also, it was super quiet at night. Which normally is wonderful. However, I tans to sleep with a fan noise. The front desk gladly accommodated me and brought one up to our room!
Fantastic hotel .. Music Hall of Fame and Hatch Print located within the hotel ... Convention Hall directly across the street !! Nice hotel bar with nightly music .. Good shops within hotel. The pool area and fitness center are great ... The best location in downtown !!! Really enjoyed our 4 night stay ....
Great location!! Surprised at such an upscale property that there is a WiFi fee if you are not a Omni member or if you do not sign up to be a member.
Clean and luxurious Cleaning staff kept bothering us early in the morning to clean rooms. Don't go here if you want to be bothered.
Parking options seemed limited to Valet. The Valet team was super nice and helpful, so that's totally fine. Pool deck is lovely. Views all around are awesome - great location. Staff at Kitchen Notes are wonderful. Food was pretty good. Loved the inclusion of local food sources and other local services (Bongo Java). When they asked me if I'd like a luggage cart, I said yes, but didn't realize that it automatically came with a bellman. In the future, I'd recommend asking if someone can help with the luggage, instead of if I'd like the use of a piece of equipment. One other critique... We have a king bed at home that is way more comfortable than the bed in our room. In general, I can tell that the nicer the hotel, the less likely that I'll wake up in the morning with a sore back from the bed. In this case, I think there's room for improvement.
Loved the proximity to downtown, the outdoor pool, fitness center, Easter brunch and room were wonderful! All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating! The pool was so popular they ran out of lounge chairs in the sun and we wish we could have spent an evening out on the patio after 9pm. Both minor compared to all of the positives!
Great location, very clean and excellent staff. Walking distance to downtown making it extremely convenient. Make sure you check out the pool and take advantage of the car service.
From the moment we pulled up front we were treated as if we were their only guest. The lobby was absolutely beautiful and the ease of check in was outstanding. We were only in for one night so we got to our room, which just blew me away on how nice it was, changed and headed to the pool to relax for a bit before heading out for dinner. I would highly recommend Omni to all travelers coming to Nashville. The only part I didn't like was leaving. The hotel did nothing wrong, we just didn't want to leave to comfortable bed and the view of Nashville.
The appointments in the hotel created a luxurious atmosphere. On Sunday we were not allowed to call for our car until after checking out. We waited 20 minutes for the car given the number of people checking out at the same time. Visit ended on a irated note.
Overall good place to stay because of location, could get a better deal on price. Helpful staff. When I first tried to check in, they somehow had my reservation for the wrong dates. This was amended once I showed them my confirmation email. Building and facilities were a bit drab and dated.
The beds were super comfortable, the rooms seemed to be updated to a more modern theme, and the location is perfect for checking out everything in downtown Nashville. It is easy to hear people coming back from the bars around 2am and their room doors slamming shut. Also, their were metal platforms on the roadway out front and every time a vehicle ran over them, the loud noise could be heard and we were on the 12th floor. It was very hard to sleep with the noise.
Staff was very friendly and helpful Plentiful parking across the street for $10 Great location Room was nicely appointed and comfortable for family of four Aveda products in bathroom Quick, plentiful elevators Nothing
Staff was excellent and informative! Beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable.
The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly, beds very comfortable. Location is perfect to all the excitement of downtown. The hotel does not offer free wifi. You have to pay by the day, and at the high nightly rate they charge it should be complimentary.
The location was perfect. There's plenty of night life & food options within walking distance. The room was clean & customer service was great. The Bridge Bar was great for meeting up before heading out. The breakfast buffet was pricey but most are. The food was good. The fitness area had suitable. I would stay here again.
Security's safety Everything went well when the fire alarm went off.
So close to downtown. Great room friendly staff
They upgraded us to the private/penthouse floor upon arrival. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds and a great shower with an endless amount of hot water. Right in the middle of everything downtown. And an onsite Starbucks!! A little pricey. Just to valet the car for one night was $35!
The staff at your front desk and valet were great! Very friendly and helpful. The ironing board did not have good padding and my shirt had an imprint of the actual board on it. The iron also leaked water all over.
Breakfast was ok lobby area ok Everything else was bad pool room tv everything else
The air conditioner was too loud
The staff was friendly and the location was close to downtown. Use the shuttle or Uber if you are going downtown. Parking is expensive.
Breakfast, friendly staff, free shuttle ride, comfortable bed Artwork, further away from nightlife
Rooms/hall ways are in need of work.
Your employees were very helpful and friendly.
Staff was fantastic and everything was very clean price?
Free parking, wifi & breakfast General looks Location near trains
Staff was very customer oriented. Quite clean. Good breakfast. Location was not as good as expected but did have a shuttle running every 1/2 hr. To the downtown area. Shuttle stops at 9:00 pm. Early stopping of the shuttle. Should at least be til 10:00. Otherwise, enjoyed our brief stay.
Bathroom had peeling wall coverings. Fridge was in compartment of entertainment console, no ventilation. Poor concept or maintenance.
The staff working there are very accommodating and friendly. I got to the hotel early the first day and was directed to the free breakfast and allowed to store my bags for free. Breakfast was great! Mini pancake machine along with waffles and eggs. The room was large and comfortable. The location was convenient but not as convenient as some of the other hotels downtown. (I like walking around so it was a bit out of the way returning home in the evening by foot.)
Bed was comfortable, it was quiet. The check in guy at the front I thought was rude. There were random stains on the curtains, walls, and ironing board. I thought the price was too high for the quality. If it were 200 for 2 nights instead of 300 I thought that would've been more fitting. Might as well stay in a la quinta
The staff were very accommodating and the location was convenient to the airport. I would stay here again.
Great stay. Very comfortable and good value. We really appreciated the airport shuttle driver. He was on time and friendly. This is a greatplace to stay the night before an early morning flight out. NA
The staff was very friendly. Our flight didn't leave until later in the day so they allowed us to hang out at the pool which was really great. The airport shuttle ran right on time and we didn't have to wait long at all to get to the hotel. The room was a little small so it was hard to move around with three adults staying in one room.
Customer Service was hands down the best!! Nothing. Enjoyed every bit of it. I did a ton of research and I believe found exactly what I was looking for.
Room was clean and staff was friendly. My only minor quibble is that there was no fridge in the room
Great place to stay for business or pleasure. Clean, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. No dislikes.
the luxe the bath was to little
The only thing i liked was the location!! The hotel is well over priced with what you get. There was no bottled water in the room and having to pay for breakfasts on top of the price of the room is outrageous, making it a very expensive trip.
The location was perfect for walking around and enjoying Downtown Nashville. The maid had to be asked to clean the room after two days.
The location of the hotel was excellent. It is right across the street from Vanderbilt University which was great for morning walks around their campus. The hotel is also within walking distance to some great unique restaurants in Nashville. It is also an easy drive to downtown. The staff was very welcoming and the valet service was quick and professional. Our room was clean and in good shape. Hallways were very quiet at night. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The only negative about the stay was the temperature in the lobby / bar / restaurant. Uncomfortably cold in all common areas
We had not stayed at the Loews since our son graduated and were pleasantly surprised to see what a nice job they have done in updating the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. Nothing
Our room was amazing... Stayed in the premium king suite...bed was beautiful and comfy... Furniture was very eclectic, bathroom very clean, overall romantic... Had a keurig coffee pot and stocked mini bar ( which we just stared at it because the drinks and snacks were so expensive . We really enjoyed the bar downstairs , Masons. The staff was amazing. Took very good care of us. We were very lucky to have got this room for such a great pricel on kayak.
It was our anniversary and they quickly bumped us up to a room with a better view for the same rate. They did all they could to accommodate us. Parking is a bit expensive but hey, that's Nashville for ya
Concierge breakfast buffet that came with our room was pretty scarce and not refilled both mornings that we went; Expensive parking lots
Fun staff. Had a little issue but was addressed right away.
Great staff. Lovely set up. Professionalism at its finest. Highly pleased, and I'll be returning soon.
Wonderful staff! Love the Lounge and the room and decor are fabulous!
Great staff No refrigerator for personal use
The Hutton is centrally located and the staff are fantastic. They also also pets and do a great job making the owners and pets feel welcome. Parking is pricey.
Staff was friendly. Dogs barking. Noise in room above ours at 1:30 am. Food in restaurant was very bad
The service was fantastic from the moment I checked in until the time I left. The front desk, bar, maintenance and cleaning staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The fitness center was very nice with a variety of equipment. Very close to downtown!
Our introduction to The Hutton was by American Express. The 1st person I spoke to was Lisa Powers from the Concierge Team. She was fabulous. She sent us an extensive list for proposed things to do in advance. She spent a great deal of time prior to arrival talking to me about options for tours, restaurants etc.. I was coordinating for a group of 6. By the time we arrived our shows and tours were booked. She even assisted with a wonderful hair and dinner appts.. She greeted us upon arrival and the service continued. What a great intro. The entire hotel team, Tony, Laura Will, Megan, Eric and Ellie and Wendall who handled room service. The team in the restaurant bar, Rachel, Dennis, Cody and Eric were fantastic as well!!! Despite the fact that the rooms were beautiful and clean, we felt the maid service could have been a little more through. We had one meal at the 1808 Restaurant. It was fabulous. It might be a best kept secret. Perhaps it is because the hours for dinner of 5:30-9 was a little limiting. We had an Italian restaurant up the Street that begins with an A. We had to have dinner there one night. The food was good but no comparison to 1808. The service was terrible. I think 1808 might be a hidden gem.
Liked everything. Great hotel. Only complaint (if you make me pick one was the rooms were a tad small.
Great service ( gave me a toothbrush since I forgot) happy hour, great design, friendly sincere staff. Didn't have warrior game.
Staff was very professional, attentive and friendly. Great room service . Hotel was a bit further from downtown than we thought. They do provide a free shuttle, though.
Extremely friendly, accommodating and beautiful hotel. I love the old school accommodations with turning down the bed at evening and water bottles whenever needed. The rooms were nice and dark with the blackout curtains, staff was some of the friendliest I have encountered and would do anything to make our stay wonderful. Amazing hotel and amazing stay. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel. Fantastic location as well. The only downfall were the few times we tried to get picked up by the shuttle. Leaving the hotel in the shuttle was never an issue but being picked up would often get very busy and we were told 7-10 min and not hear from anyone 40-50 min later. A few times pick up was fast but the majority of the time we ended up having to call uber.
Shuttle Service (Tesla) Early Check in (if available) Great Service! Rooms are a bit smaller
First hotel room to have a mobile lighted make-up mirror. One can place it on the desk and sit down to apply make-up. Fabulous! Nothing.
We planned on going to New York or Chicago when my wife suggested Nashville. I immediately thought of honky tonks and country music, but I'm into new things and so we set a course to Nashville. There were several Hotel options, and we pick the Hutton because it seem to apeal to us more so than the others when we saw the website. we were not disappointed. We had a great time.
Staff incredibly friendly Nice ambiance Clean and modern rooms Very expensive ($500 per night) and breakfast was not included. The room did not have a closet for our clothes (what was there was a closet for the luggage with no hangers) The room was big but not huge, given its cost. The location is convenient for college visit but it it is not downtown, so it is not in a pretty part of town
Staff was friendly and nice Lots of fruit flies in the room. room smelled bad. Toilet was very small. The beds were squeaky.
Spacious room with a roomy desk and chair Inability to open the window and get fresh air
It was what we needed since we were only in town for the night and just needed a place close to the bars before crashing. Shower was dirty, random amenities fee, and bed was not the best.
Location was great. Close to downtown and the gulch. Free breakfast was appreciated There was construction going on that started at 6am on a Saturday. We were never offered earplugs. Never really told about it. I would have stayed in a different hotel if I had known this especially for how much I had to pay and the fact that the "relaxing" part of my vacation was ruined. One day when we came back from our hotel all our trash had been taken out of the trash cans and left on the tables next to our stuff. Staff was also very loud in the hallways talking back and forth across rooms while cleaning during the morning hours.
THe hotel is on Broadway and up the hill from the Honky Tonks but well within walking distance -- and in any event it has a free shuttle service operating to and from the hotel within a two mile radius. In American terms the included breakfast was both good and included plenty of choice - both hot and cold. The rooms are a good size and the staff are extremely helpful. The temperatures when we were there exceeded 100 each day so the outdoor pool was just the job. Finally there is plenty of on site car parking.
Staff very helpful. Excellent parking facilities. Large and comfortable standard room.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Just a couple blocks from downtown, so you don't really have to drive anywhere. The decor was a little dated, but that didn't affect the comfort or the overall stay. That was really my only beef.
Free breakfast was great and the Shuttle for local are drop offs was pretty cool too. The shuttle didnt go very far or run late enough.
Comfortable, convenient and value for money No
Staff was great at the front desk....nice complimentary snack bar in the afternoon Rooms were not serviced by 4pm...so just got fresh towels
Being double charged.
Comfort and breakfast Parking was fine when we arrived at 3:00pm, but when we arrived back at 11:30pm from our outing we had no place to park, got to end of parking garage and couldn't even turn around, so we had to back out. Very disappointed in this. There should be enough parking for guests
The friendly staff Lack of freeze with refriarator in room for meds which need to be kept cold.
We have stayed there many times, and we always appreciate the excellent value ($48/night this time!), considering that it's located in a big city (Nashville, tn). We also enjoy the hot breakfast, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. This time, they upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost because they ran out of rooms! Nothing I can think of.
location, friendly staff, comfortable room would stay there again small room exercise room had poor machines add fruit and yogurt to breakfast menu
location the carpet is filthy
Staff did not know answers to questions about the shuttles. That's not that bad but don't give wrong information like we received!.
The staff was outstanding, with particular mention for Chyna & Geneva of the front desk. They were wonderful for their directions and their suggestions. They are the types of staff that I would expect to meet at a front desk.
The front desk assistance was overwhelmingly helpful with dinner plans, directions, and assistance with lining up early morning shuttle plans.
The hotel was reasonably priced and has an airport shuttle. The hotel is older and not as nice as some of the higher priced hotels, but it was reasonably clean and great if someone is looking for moderate priced hotel near the airport.
The room was clean and a nice size. The hotel as a whole had a stench. It was a mixture of moldy and dirty carpet.
Convenient location, clean, surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport. Overall a nice hotel for the price. The bed wasn't super comfortable and the provided toiletries aren't that great.
The bed was super comfortable, the room had a cozy feel to it, and the staff was very friendly. We were able to check-in at noon and checked out at noon, so we didn't feel rushed. Most hotels have earlier check-outs at 10 or 11. I think I'd stay here again if I needed to be near the airport and couldn't find anything better for <$100/night. Walking into the room, we were hit with a thick, damp feeling and smell. We thought maybe it was because it had recently been cleaned, but we stayed 3 days/ 2 nights and the dampness never went away. The room seems to have been recently updated, but some things were overlooked or put on the back-burner, e.g., the plastic "window" in the shower had holes in it. Cleanliness - seemed mostly clean, but there was a stray hair on the wall of the shower. Breakfast - had some hot options like sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy, but no "fresh" options like fruit and yogurt.
It was quiet and close to food, not chain food. Not enough coffee in the room, powdered eggs and dry sausage patties for breakfast
The location and historic charm are off the hook, Rooms we're lacking for the quality we were expecting.. All and all good stay...
The location is great for proximity to downtown and Vanderbilt. The bar and lobby areas are nice. Bartenders were friendly and had good wine suggestions. There was a wedding on Saturday that took over the entire lobby for much of the day and night, so that cut down on our enjoyment. Friday night we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the lobby while listening to live music and waiting to meet friends for dinner. The shower stall was old and had mold and mildew stains in the grout. We were awakened several times during the night by people passing through in the hall. They weren't being excessively noisy; it seems to be a design flaw. I much prefer the Hutton. Even the Loews is better.
The staff was amazing and super helpful! Everything was clean and nicely remodeled! The hotel has zero parking you have to pay to park which was very expensive!
Staff was wonderful. Rooms well appointed and comfortable beds The fitness facility could be expanded by a lot!!
Stayed at hotel for layover to catch early flight out of Nashville. Rooms in serious need of updating. Bed very uncomfortable. Staff was nice. Iconic layout ok if that is what one is looking for. Doors between rooms not insulated and could hear noise from adjacent room. Poor value but stayed only because Nashville booked up for CMT festival.
Good location, easy access to highway. Clean room, good staff, quick check in, and bar in the lobby. All good features! What?
They have found their niche for having unique offerings like a spiritual and pillow menu. The staff was also very friendly and responsive. I enjoyed all aspects of my stay. No complaints.
The staff was very good and accommodating. We had 3 rooms and they were able to get 2 rooms next to each other and the other down the hall on the same floor. Everything was clean and safe. It is older. They have obviously made some remodeling efforts in the years. There was construction on the same floor as ours (but it did not impact our stay). The water pressure and water temperature was very inconsistent.
Cleanliness, soft comfy beds, good food, police courteous staff No frige, not microwave, no hot tub, cable harder to operate
We had a concern for bed bugs in our room and asked for management to come check out the situation. No one ever came up. They did suggest we change rooms, but never heard another word. When I asked if the situation was resolved, there was no note on our stay and they said the room was rented out the following night. Very poor service with regards to this potential health issue.
Stayed two nights, housekeeping didn't clean room.
- The front desk staff were always pleasant. Asked if everything was to my liking, smiled constantly, and were very knowledgeable. - The décor of the hotel is GORGEOUS. The lobby alone makes you feel like a rock star, but the rooms make you feel cozy. - I recommend using room service or going down into the in-house restaurant/bar. You won't be disappointed with any choice. I ordered brunch to be brought to my room and it was delicious. - They're pet-friendly! For only a small fee, I was able to bring my cat into the room with me. The staff didn't mind that I brought her litter box into the room either. The lovely lady that brought me the in-room brunch even got down and gave my cat some attention while I paid the tip. My minor complaints/suggestions: - I wish they'd provide a microwave and/or mini fridge in the room. That way, if you don't finish your food or drinks, you can store/reheat them. - I recommend to ask if the room they're booking you for is by the elevators. My room (which I booked online) was directly across from them and I could hear them. This didn't disturb me too much, but it might to a light sleeper. Extra tip: They are doing some light construction in the bldg. They let you know the hours that it'll be happening. This didn't bother me at all though. I was more than understanding. - I wish their parking lot accommodated for traveling movers. It was difficult to find proper parking for a Uhaul towing a vehicle. The lot was nicely lit (thank you!) but they may want to consider making a specific area for larger loads. There's plenty of parking for smaller/single vehicles.
I literally don't have one negative thing to say. Super friendly front desk. Super cool decor. Super comfy bedding. Super nice toiletries. Super clean EVERYTHING....bathroom floor, tub, sink, linens, carpet, windows, remote control, ironing board cover....EVERYTHING was ridiculously clean (the cleaning staff must be crazy good). I actually miss it...that's weird, right?! Will ABSOLUTELY stay again anytime I'm in Nashville. Love love.
Location Dirty everywhere, smell bad I founded cockroach in my room when I told them ,they did not even apologize once. I took a picture too.
The rooms, décor, the art... Basically the environment as a whole had a European vibe which I liked about it. I love that it wasn't a huge chain like Marriott or Hilton. Those places have no character. This one does. Also, it seems to be the place that traveling musicians like to stay (no matter the genre). I'd recommend it to my friends with no hesitation. The restaurant has a very limited menu, is slightly rude when you call to ask them about it and is more expensive than it should be. Not a big deal since Nashville is loaded with awesome restaurants. Their loss.
Staff was friendly! Cool artwork. Used to be a radisson. Hallways are kinda dim but that's about it.
