It has a "musty" smell and the hotel looked pretty old. Definitely needs some upgrades. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave was nice to have. Staff was kind and friendly. Much needed upgrades in hotel.
The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Hotel is dated but they look to be in process of remodel.
The room was recently renovated and the bed was comfortable. I really liked that there were a few fart food restaurants near by, I didn't have to use GPS to find something. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall it was a great stay for only paying $100. There was a weird smell when I first got into the room but I think that's because the AC was off. Once I got the AC running the smell went away.
Location, price and pleasant staff were pluses. Queen room was tiny and there was barely enough room to step out of the shower without landing on the toilet. Hot/cold water lines were reversed in the vanity sink creating a hazard and the toilet seat was falling off. Would not stay there again.
The hotel was clean and relatively inexpensive, but was in major disrepair. The toilet did not work and the water had been turned off to the toilet. I turned the water on, but the tank would not fill. Obviously, since the water had been shut off to the toilet, the hotel was aware of the problem, but still rented out the room.
Well, its cheaper. So that's good. The exterior looked awful so I was really worried about what my room would look like, but it was surprisingly nice and comfortable. Everything was pretty clean and in order. Breakfast was okay, The eggs were dry and there were no meat options. The waffles were the best part. Now the real reason I'm only giving this place a mediocre review is for stranding me at the airport. I called to see if there was an airport shuttle on the way and the woman assured me they would send one out. Well, half an hour passed and there was no shuttle. So I called again. The lady who answered seemed to have no idea that I just called and asked if where I needed the shuttle sent to, to which I replied 'the airport', of course. She then said there would be one there in 15-20 minutes. So I waited another half and hour, and yet again, there was no shuttle. I ended up having to take an uber to the hotel, and when I asked where the shuttle was, all they said was that it was supposed to leave every hour, completely oblivious to the fact that I had called to request one. Even if there was supposed to be one every hour, I should have seen one in the hour+ I spent waiting for it at the airport. I ended up taking an uber when I checked out, as I'm still not sure if this shuttle even exists. Honestly, just pay a little more and go to the Holiday Inn Express just up the street. They have a reliable airport shuttle (which I saw come at least twice while waiting for the super 8 one), and both the inside and outside look luxurious for how much you pay. And their breakfast is pretty awesome.
Proximity to airport with free shuttle supplied by Super 8. Staff were all great and accommodating. No reason for it to be so dated and run down looking given all the positive asserts it has. Needs a face lift. Good price does not always need to look cheap. However I stayed in a clean room with wifi (free), TV, fridge and convenient location, with good staff, so no real complaints; just a little critique.
They had a room available, not far from airport. Expensive, room next to elevator, insufficient bedding, insufficient east-facing window covering, lacked simple things like tissues and control knobs on the AC unit.
The staff was great. The location was amazing. It was right off the highway and around a lot of eateries. Only about 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. Rooms were well sized. Included fridge, wifi, microwave, and big screen satellite TV. I got a really goo price for this room. Pretty safe location. Had a diverse set of people staying, from families to other mid twenties groups. I'd return. Our room was the floor above the pool area so it smelt like chlorine and had a mustiness to it when we first walked in. We did not notice it by the second day. Room was in mid renovation. Bedroom and bathroom area were completed, however the shower area was in mid renovation. had poorly done paint and flooring was older. We didn't care at all because the room was fine to stay in with comfort, however if you care for small details like that then just be aware. A/C worked great but pumped that pool smell in at first.
Good location, but the hotel was in major disrepair. The hotel is under renovation and it needs it.
The airport shuttle but it on,y ran on the hour. I left a bottle of pills there that I need and I called and they said they would look and no one got back to me.
The staff was nice. We flew in late and needed somewhere close to the airport and had reservations at a nicer hotel downtown the next day. Not much was available at this point (last minute change to our schedule). This was the highest rated for something less than 200 bucks. It said it was smoke free. The room reeked of smoke. The curtains wouldn't shut all the way, so the street light kept us up. Not to mention it was creepy knowing people could see in. If you like a breakfast full of sugar, then they have you covered. The bathroom in the room was so gross, there was a dark brown film covering everything. We all forwent showers as that seemed cleaner than getting in there. Luckily we checked in to our other hotel a few hours later. The sheets didn't seem too fresh either. I realize this is a Super 8 Motel.. you can't expect much, which we weren't. We just wanted somewhere cheap to crash for a few hours after being delayed 4 hours. However, I do expect a smoke free room if thats whats advertised, some privacy, and a clean bathroom. Ew stay elsewhere.
The fact that they advertise indoor and outdoor pool and neither one were available on that weekend with 80° weather disappointed.... Dirty and outdated but the beds were quite comfortable and the showerhead great water pressure
Bathroom with mold
I liked the location (near several restaurants, stores, gas stations) and the price of the stay The carpet was threadbare, the bed had no support left, couch was old, walls needed new paint - several stains, hole in the wall from repeated door handle banging, cockroaches everywhere! Yikes!
It was near the interstate. It was last minute cheap. Smell of mildew. Bathroom was dirty. Pulled sheets back and found where someone had thrown up on the mattress. Only half electrical outlets worked. Room never did get cool.
Cheap price. Decent rooms. Not bad. Patient manager; even though I had reserved the room just a few minutes before entering and even stated I was waiting for it to clear through; he still went ahead to get the room as quickly as possible. Signs that were not clear on where the vending machines were. One staff may have been a bit new on understanding the reservations through kayak.
new furniture Building was in bad shape
The outside of the property is clearly older and could definitely use some cleaning/sprucing up, but the room itself was clean and comfortable. The temperature control worked well, the bed was comfortable (but not luxurious, pretty basic spring mattress), the shower was hot and the staff very nice. If you just need a basic room to crash in for the night, this is a good choice. If you're looking for luxuries, then not so much. We didn't get to breakfast, but the eating area off the lobby was spacious and looked clean.
The front desk was very friendly and helpful. This was a last minute hotel choice and was well worth it for the money!
Hotel was close to many resturants. That was about the only con of the place. The bathroom we stayed in had mold. We ask the front desk if it could be cleaned. The next morning the house keeper came and told us there was nothing she can do. She did not even attempt to clean it. There was also a language barrier which made the situation more frustrating. Will not stay here again.
Comfortable bed. Close to airport. Right next to the freeway and the old building doesn't do anything to insulate sound. It's every bit as loud inside as it is outside. The building desperately needs to be remodeled.
The stairs need to be painted
I had a single room with the big bed Room was so dirty. I think I Caught bedbugs from sleep there
Didn't get to stay as storm had knocked out power. Booked through this site and had one heck of a time getting reservation cancelled on kayaks end. The manager of this inn, Mr Patel, was so helpful in getting our refund. We actually had to have a three way conversation to get our reservation cancelled. Getting customer service from this site to actually refund our non stay.
It's just a place to lay your head at night. Don't go in expecting the 4Seasons. It's not a bad place to stay for the money. The continental breakfast didn't have a lot of choices...coffee, cold cereal, toast, or powdered donuts.
just remodeled was nice price was cheap for nashville bed was to hard
90 dollars for two nights. Thats says enough. What do u expect for so little. Good for just stopping thru for a night or two. Other than that there are hotels in the area for a couple bucks more that are a lot more worth it
The room smelled like smoke. There were dirty footprints on the door. The shower head fell off when we tried to adjust the angle. The wifi did not work. There were cigarette burns in my sheets.
Nice Room To close to the road.
I have stayed here twice and the facility and the kind folks who run it were great. Need heavier blankets and conditioner.
Place was very very dirty, beds very uncomfortable, has no pool,
Checked out a day early due to the Trade Show being so small we finished early. Refund for last day was not given due to booking through Priceline.com I will NEVER use them again!
Restaurants in close proximity The staff seem to be missing at least 90% of the time the doors were broken as if they had been kicked in. The room was not very pleasant floors were dirty and the elevator repeatedly stop working not to mention we were on the 4th floor.
WiFI coverage and speed was good. The room had an LED TV. -Garbage, broken bottles, beer cans, etc... laying around the lawn and parking lot -The front desk staff were never around. I couldn't check out and ended up leaving the keys in the room -The door latch to the room, although it flashed green every time, would only open the door 1 out of every 4 or 5 attempts. Of course the front desk staff weren't around to fix this. -The room was tiny. The luggage cart wouldn't fit in the room. The room was supposed to be two queens, it was two full beds and hardly had any space to move between them. -Moving the nightstand, etc... to plug in chargers revealed parts of the room that aren't readily visible aren't cleaned.
it was horrible. we will never go back. I cannot say anything good about this hotel
the price No
The best thing about this hotel was its location near a music festival we were attending in Franklin. It was very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The hotel also has a pretty decent complimentary breakfast buffet. The room was mediocre at best. Threadbare towels. The toilet kept running all night. I left a note about the problem for housekeeping the next morning but they did absolutely nothing about it. Very hard to sleep with water running all night long.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was clean & quiet. The hot breakfast was decent and enough choices to start the day. The staff at night & during the day were really nice & helpful They are going under renovations & cant wait to see the updates
Location Not as clean. Not bad found some things on floor in corners under vanity. Just cleaned in the middle.
The staff was friendly. The tubs didn't drain well.
Easy access from interstate
Room was updated and nice, and included a fridge and microwave. Outside walls are too thin. Was awoken early both morning by people loudly walking by outside, car alarms, and other outside noises.
good location It took over an hour to get a key to my room standing at the front desk. Employee did not know how to do his job. My bathroom had not been clean with human waste in the toilet. Rest of the room was fine.
Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean. New beds. New owner. Under remodeling. No lobby seating, no dining tv or newspaper. Priced a bit high.

I would recommend this hotel. Right now there remodeling the lobby, but otherwise I had a perfect stay. No
It was conviently located right off the interstate. This place was dirty. Old and dirty. Not only is it due for a total overhaul, it wasn't cleaned well. The room was outdated and the furniture was stained. The smell made us uncomfortable and the staff made it worse. I won't stay here again. I was very unhappy with the service as well as the poor condition of the room. We slept there because it was too late to change our minds and woke up to the office guy screaming at some woman outside of our door loudly at seven in the morning. The bathroom was gross and the beds were barely standable. DO NOT STAY HERE. Got a kayak deal and regretted it. We got three hours of sleep and we're totally disgusted with the stay. Not sure who to ask for our money back. What a dump.
The staff should get credit because they work so hard. Also, for 65 dollars you get what you pay for. The hoel is the farthest thing from Nashville or opreyland. The rooms are dirty and most of the lights don't work.
The people working there were friendly but not super organized. The 1st room we were given wasn't finished being cleaned, so we where given a different room. Was in a ghetto neighborhood. No violence but there was a decent amount of prostitution happening! Sheets were white and clean but that was the only thing, wouldn't walk on the floor barefoot and the room smelled like mold.
Nothing Cleaning guy barged in without knocking. Completely inappropriate. Staff are miserable. Non smoking toom smelled like smoke.
the bed was comfortable
I assumed better quality in a Howard Johnson. Room out dated , mattress had chips all under the fitted sheets .
Nothing They were rude, the room was not clean pubic hair on bathroom floor and hair on sheets also hair stuck on towles
NOTHING EVERYTHING. FRONT DESK AWFUL.
Good price. Suited my need for a quick, comfortable 5-hour nap. TV was analog and very staticky. Pillows very lumpy. Sheets were good, but mattress itself was stained and dirty (had small hairs on it).
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything was dated. We arrived and had to wait about 15 minutes on someone to get back to the office. There was a sign on the door that said "be back in 5 mins" yea....that didn't happen so we couldn't even check in. Got to the room and it was okay for the most part. The shower was slow to drain so I'm standing there in a tub of shower water. It finally drained after being out of the shower for a minute. I guess you get what you pay for, but I will gladly pay more next time for a better place.
Clean, check in staff very friendly Bathroom was very old , hotel was super noisey , check out staff not friendly offered no receipt
Front desk area was just remodeled and it looked nice. The blueberry muffins were good. Stairs are only located only on the back side of the hotel, outside is very dirty, it is located in a very rough area of town and lots of loud noises (yelling, music) at night, there were bodily fluid stains on BOTH of our comforters, wads of dirt piled in the corners of the room. Would never go back! Disgusting!!!!
It wasn't too far from my venue (The Ryman) I found a roach in the bathroom and the toilet took forever to flush. The floor also felt a little sticky.
Continued from negative comments Keys did not work two nights Had to get fixed at desk Got one day credit from all the hassle of room not getting repaired Nice desk person but was new so he had to call manager Non smoke room smelled like smoke Asked for different room Hairdryer falling off wall Sink drain backed up water started leaking Had to put waste basket under sink front desk they said they would fix or move us nothing don
the price was appropriate the room was not thoroughly clean. the shower was stained

Room was DIRTY. Huge bugs and spiderwebs above toilet. Shower full of mildew. Lipstick stains in pillow. Tried to tell me a 'double room' is not 2 beds, but only 1 double bed.
Staff was very welcoming and very nice. No
The location There were bugs in our room. It looked run down

the price It is no longer a Econo Lodge and the web site has not updated this, the rooms didnt look anything like what was on the site but they where still nice rooms for the price and the staff was GREAT.
The staff is very pleasant. No sound proof, you can hear people going up and down the stair, talking ect. No coffee maker like advertised, It the most expensive Motel 6 during my road trip and the one I dislike the most.
The way Motel6 handled a quick and easy refund. After I got ahold of the company This hotel should be closed permanently. From the missing fire alarm to the bullets (not just holes) left in the wall, the broken furniture, and let's not forget the electronical wires hanging out of the wall. It was a dump
The desk clerk returned $10 for our inconvenience. We were told we would have a double room and it wasn't. It was in a bad neighborhood. The bathroom was not clean.
It was pretty comfortable and I love how it was around a bunch of places to eat. It was disgusting. There was a big in our bed that we had to kill and and spider in our tub. When we told the man at the desk he just brushed us off. I feel I should be compensated because that is disgusting.
Great service and super friendly!
Tha staff was initially was difficult to deal with but after rectifying an issue there were Pleasant. The location was also perfect for us to enjoy an evening out on the town and also make it to the Titans game The room was disgusting I slept on top of the blankets because I did not want to put my skin on anything. I literally felt like I needed to take a shower after taking a shower because the bathroom was disgusting
I liked nothing about this place. Room was disgusting, we had to switch to another which was just as bad and the owner and cleaning ladies had an attitude about it. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
Toilet seat was unsanitary. Water went off. Paint was peeling. Breakfast was minimal.
The hotel smelled so terrible it reeks of cigarette smoke and there were bugs and the water was sweltering hot you couldn't even turn it down Everything except the price
Easy to find Room phone didn't work, smoking room we requested but huge burn mark in carpet and sticky fix in another area. One roll of TP, had to walk to the desk to get another. Pool was green.
Price Location, Area,
Location was a few miles out of downtown, $12 cab fare to get to the center of downtown. Front desk staff called a cab for us, we thought they might have a shuttle but they did not. When dropping us off the cab driver told us the motel was in a, "bad part of town, don't leave your room until morning." The jacuzzi jets didn't work but we liked the room anyways. There was a king bed and a pull out couch so could sleep up to 4 comfortably. Doors had extra dead bolts so I felt very safe. We saw one adorable stink bug type insect, but we let him hang out inside because it was cold outside.
I saw cockroaches in my room
