With a stay at Ratua Island Resort and Spa in Ratua Island, you'll be on the Strip and within the region of Unity Park and Luganville Market. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
Pros: Just incredible resort, small, intimate, beautiful villas and incredible staff
Pros: The seclusion and privacy of the villas. The fact that the natural beauty of the island was so untouched and raw. The villas fit in with the surrounds perfectly! The
Cons: Although we weren’t in a hurry to get anywhere on the island, the stepping stones along the pathways made it really difficult and tiring to walk around. They need to be brought closer together an easier walk plus more lighting along the path at night.
Pros: The island itself is absolutely beautiful, you can paddle and snorkel around the island looking at turtles and coral and different types of tropical fish in the clear blue water. The horse riding and the swim with the horses is truly unique. You wake up to the gentle lapping of water just outside your beachside hut, very relaxing. The spa is built over the water and is beautifully picturesque. The staff are lovely kind and will quickly meet a request if you ask. The food was good and some nights you might get sashimi and lobster.
Cons: There is a compulsory meal plan that is 10000 VUT per person per day which is around $250 AUD extra per night per couple and this should be made clearer for future guests. The food was good but I felt it gave you very little choice on what you ate and often felt way too full to eat all three courses each night anyway (we stayed for 7 nights, so it got a bit repetitive) A drinks menu is also needed so guests can have an idea of how much they are spending/what is available. Couldn’t contact the hotel through booking.com, had to email directly. The villas are all wide open during the day (it usually feels so private) but tourist boats occasionally drive past out of nowhere right in front of the villa, and I was just standing there not even dressed hehe oops :-p
Pros: This place is well worth the money. The accommodation was gorgeous. You can go snorkelling across a beautiful reef and paddle board/kayak beside many many turtles. The food was first class and the service excellent. BOOK THIS PLACE!!
Pros: Peaceful. We had our own area and beach. The cabins were traditional huts which were amazing in their own right. We were in Dragon hut. The massage spa location over the water gave an extra special touch. Morning Pilates was conducted on the yoga deck each morning whilst we were there. Lucille Hoy was our amazing instructor. The snorkelling was amazing enter up near the main reception and yacht club to avoid any damage. Food was excellent and plentiful. Island time kicked in nicely.
Cons: If you have poor eyesight the dark wood traditional huts can be very difficult for sight especially at night. every morning all the doors and windows are opened up to lighten things up.
Pros: Incredible idyllic location. Pristine water and pristine island. Friendliest staff and outstanding food. Fantastic snorkeling and ocean life. Peaceful and tranquil. Loved the very rustic 200 year old Balinese accommodation, but could understand that this might not be for everyone. The Spa setting is most probably one of the most beautiful tranquil settings on this planet. Loved the boat ride from Santo Island. Loved not wifi or TV in our room. Loved no noise from boats or aircraft.
Cons: Not 100% convinced on the 200 year old accommodation. Found them to be lacking in natural light. Also I wasnt really happy with the mosquito coils burning in the room. They made me feel ill. I understand this adds to the experience and to be clear I would go back, but I would like to more light during the day, and better ventilation and night, as the fan has zero effect through the mosquito nets. T
Pros: What wasn’t there to like .... will be going back for sure
Cons: The lighting in our Bure was a little too soft/dull ... that’s the only complaint
Pros: The staff were wonderful and the villa we stayed in was awesome with spectacular views and complete privacy. The spa was amazing built over the water and our massages were devine. The whole island and resort amenities have a wonderful ambience - fantastic location! We will be back.
Cons: If I had to be really picky then I would say I was a little disappointed with some of the snorkeling equipment as there was not many masks (couldn't get right size) and the couple of snorkels I tried both leaked.
Pros: Ratua is, put simply, paradise. The serenity of enjoying a glass of wine after a sublime meal while native sea-life invigorates the shore only a few feet away from your table cannot be described in a matter of sentences. The feeling of being almost totally secluded in your beautiful villa and enjoying your own private beach is amazing. I could go on out the awesome snorkelling, the turtles, the kava ceremony, organic food... but to swim on a horse? Incredible. Don't pass up the opportunity to experience this beautiful place and it's lovely staff members.
Pros: The location and environment were special. That was the 6 star experience. The room, although quirky and “different “ did not warrant the expense outlay.
Cons: The lunch buffets were substandard. Promised delicious seafood and charged accordingly, to be presented with sausages and cold potato fries was an insult.
Located in Turtle Bay, Turtle Bay Lodge is by the ocean, a 5-minute drive from Matevulu Blue Hole and 6 minutes from Nanda Blue Hole. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location is great if you want to get a bit of relax, enjoy snorkeling and the sunsets. Plenty of options for excursions and facilities. We hired a car for 1 day so we went for a tour around the island by ourselves. Staff is friendly and always happy to help. Thanks guys!
Cons: We expected to have a much better breakfast.
Pros: The bread was amazing, they cook it there every day. Also the manager of the resort was kind and so helpful :) He was amazing!!!
Pros: Very pretty surroundings and setting by the water. Room was big and confortable. Kayak to the blue hole was lovely although you will need to pay for the rental Dinner options were yummy (although expensive)
Cons: Continental breakfast was really poor- you will need to purchase from the menu Pick up from airport was expensive and had to wait 40 min for other guests to join (it is a shared van) WiFi is only available and the restaurant
Pros: A great location but you need to either hire a car or driver to go anywhere Most places charge an entry fee on top of tour cost but normally worth it No TV limited WIFI great for a break away
Cons: I thought the manager could have been a little more hospitable he didn’t welcome us or have any interaction although the one thing he did do was find out where our driver was when time to leave
Pros: The location of Turtle Bay is good if you want to visit the east coast of Santo. They have cars for hire as well as kayaks and snorkeling gear. It's nice to be out of Luganville, even if it's expensive to get a taxi up there when you first arrive. The staff were accommodating when we had an early check out and provided us with breakfast the night before.
Cons: The food was pretty average but you don't have much choice as there are no restaurants or any other resorts in walking distance of the property. Everything was pretty experience, but we found that across all of Vanuatu. Some of the staff were helpful but we had mixed feelings on the manager who you needed to catch in a good mood...
Pros: Amazing staff, speak to Daniel (the big guy in the office) to set up cheaper transportation and activities than you could do yourself. Very dedicated to making sure you have an amazing stay. Good restaurant
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff, beautiful restaurant and view! Close to the blue holes ! It was perfect thank you :-) and really comfy room, good pressure in the shower.
Pros: Good location with lovely vista and close to many Blue Holes. Very comfy bed and quality of facilities/rooms etc very good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included was fresh and plentiful.
Cons: This is a great location for the blue holes and general exploring, including kayaking but the swimming/snorkelling was not as good at this location as other locations.
Pros: Excellent location to visit Matevulu blue hole by kayak! yummy omelette for breakfast :)
Cons: They charged half of the accomodation (and extras fees) to my credit card in advance without my approvement. I wanted to pay by cash only!
Pros: This Lodge is outstanding is so many ways. The unit was great, the restaurant/common area was fantastic and the location was so close to all of the blue holes We absolutely loved staying here and will be back again. Nothing negative to say about our stay. We enjoyed all of our meals and the staff were lovely. Being surrounded by water is fabulous. We hired a car from the hotel and it was easy to drive to all of the beautiful locations. We miss being there already.
Cons: It is about 20 minutes drive to town so you need to stock up before you go. There are no local shops.
A stay at Deco Stop Lodge places you in the heart of Luganville, within a 5-minute drive of Unity Park and Luganville Market. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Luganville? This resort has 463 square feet (43 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely staff and Dave and Kim were so helpful in arranging tours and helping me get in touch with operators. The place is really comfortable and has beautiful views, a big plus on both in the case that there's not great weather.
Cons: The dinners, although delicious, seemed very expensive considering the low cost of high quality vegetables at the markets.
Pros: Our stay with Ben and Kim at Deco Stop lodge was wonderful. They were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of info about the local tours. I really enjoyed the laid back relaxed environment and the afternoon views from the Deco Stop deck were sensational. Deco Stop has a nice elevated position and catches the breeze.
Pros: Kim and Ben were so lovely. Fabulous staff.
Cons: Lights flickered on and off
Pros: The friendly staff, views, & food. Ease w a 3 year old in the accomodation.
Pros: Great location just a short walk from town. Views out to the bay were lovely. Really accessible for day adventures and the staff were really helpful with recommendations and organising what we needed. Meals were fantastic and the staff lovely and friendly. Highly recommend as the best place to stay in Luganville!
Pros: Great views, friendly staff, great place to base yourself in Santo
Cons: Only basic breakfast included, although cooked options were available for an extra cost which were tasty. Overall meals were a bit hit and miss
Pros: Very friendly
Cons: The hot water system was erratic. Would suddenly go cold
Pros: I loved the staff and the design. The swimming pool was nice but with too much chlorine
Cons: The mattresses! It’s like sinking in a sponge. No resistance
Pros: Fantastic view overlooking the ocean from up high. This is a great resort for divers - completely set up for it! There is a designated spot for washing dive gear and leaving it to dry and they staff accommodate the diving schedules really well with early start breakfasts and late dinner service. The rooms were great, spacious and light! Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Great resort! Very happy with the service and the staff are so lovely!
Cons: We had to ask for the remote from reception to use our aircon, which we didn't know on arrival, so suffered through the first night in 35 degree heat. After we found out though it was great, nice and cool. Just remember to ask on check in!
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Quiet location with elevated views over rooftops to bay, from pool deck. Extraordinary pre-packed breakfast for early check-out. Room and ensuite facilities clean & tidy. Tea making facilities and fridge adequately stocked. Restaurant offered a selection of starters, mains, desserts and beverages.
Cons: A bit of a trek down hill to township of Luganville, then back up. Probably need to take a taxi. This didn't concern me, as I was only staying one night.
Aore Island Resort is a stunning Pacific Island retreat with an authentic and welcoming culture nestled in a unique natural paradise. Experience the raw luxury of our private bungalows and indulge in all the dining, relaxation and adventure we have to offer right on our doorstep, overlooking the crystal clear waters of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. Just a 2.5 hour flight from Australia and a 10 minute boat trip from the mainland, Aore Island delivers your Pacific island dream – the ideal base for exploring and experiencing the delights of Espiritu Santo. Dive on world class wrecks and snorkel or kayak through secret coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, swing from giant Banyan trees into crystal clear fresh water springs and discover a culture and customs unchanged for centuries.
Pros: Excellent location for privacy, free kayaking, free wifi, breakfast included and reasonably priced other lovely meals.
Cons: All inclusive meal package would be great or breakfast and dinner . Was absolutely fine though
Pros: Amazing location. Friendly staff and Owners. Lots of activities available for those who want to explore. Your own semi-private beach. Delicious food with daily menus.
Cons: Nothing, it was exactly what we wanted. A beautiful, relaxing retreat on a tropical island!!
Pros: The room was beautiful, the beach was nice, the island is very green.
Cons: The food, breakfast specially. We have had way better breakfast in backpackers hostel. Bread, croissant and cereal that’s all. it’s shameful. If you want eggs, you have to pay for them and it costs about the same as lunch... Also, the all day lunch and diner menu options are very poor and the quality was average. The lunch and diner specials were average too. It’s really annoying because there aren’t many option to have dinner around the hotel since it’s in an island and the last shuttle from Luganville to the hotel is at 4:30pm. This is very personal but it could be helpful to someone in my same position. we were on our honeymoon and I told them way beforehand. I was hoping they will do a special decoration in the bed, with flower petals or something like all the other hotels where he had been. But they didn’t even acknowledge it, it was disappointing. Finally, there is no “soul” in the hotel, it’s kind of boring. Thank God the shuttle to the main island exists.
Pros: Resort has a lovely relaxed feel. Not too big or crowded. Great location. Bungalows are full of character with nice decor. Sun lounges and hammocks on beach are perfect for relaxing. Stand up paddle boards, kayaks and fat bottom bikes, although not in the best condition, were fun.
Cons: Food was average. Double bed would be a bit small for taller/ larger people.
Pros: Lisa and Brad very welcoming. The staff are the most beautiful humans. We think we may have died and gone to heaven for a few days. Absolutely unwinded and enjoyed every moment.
Pros: The Island is nice, snorkeling there is fun. The free bikes are also great. And they were very accommodating with late check out, for which I’m very grateful!
Cons: The food was horrible. The staff clearly favored some customers over others. The music at the restaurant is dreadful. The internet is beyond slow.
Pros: The beach was great, snorkeling was great and the property gardens were well maintained
Cons: Our unit had a constant smell of sewage due to poor installation of the toilet and we had to constantly keep checking our bill as we kept being double charged for items
Cons: Selection of beers
Pros: Location so great as protected from the South East trade winds.
Cons: A bit too Australian:)
Pros: Great location, friendly staff. Lisa and Brad were very nice and everyone was very helpful..
Located in Luganville, Village de Santo Resort is by the sea, a 1-minute drive from Millennium Cave Tour Office and 11 minutes from SS President Coolidge. Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Villa was big split in two levels. All villas are located around the pool area which is cute. Ami the hotel manager was very helpful and attentive
Cons: The shower was very difficult to get right and on our last day the hot water wasn’t even working. The location is not walking distance to town despite what other reviews say. Specially at night, you wouldn’t want to do it (the road is not a nice walk anyway). Breakfast is very average and dinner substandard for the incredible price they charge. I had the worse caesar salad of my life for almost $25. On our last night we constantly had tiny particular coming from the roof into our bed and a couple of spots in the floor. Not harmful, just noticeable.
Pros: Everything. Our 3rd time staying at beautiful Villige de Santo, as always the staff are amazingly nice and welcoming even all the chefs came out to shake hands and welcome us bakeken :) Congratz to the young chef who starts permanent work this week, last time he cooked me the best hot chips ever. The frenchtoast by all the chefs are also beautiful. They have even formed a stringband which plays on saturday nights. The sung some classic songs like happy birthday and even ELVIS plus more. Its truely an awesome resort and worth it. Look forward to seeing you again soon!
Pros: Fridge, tea & coffee facilities & microwave & cutlery/ crockery. Helpful owners & staff for tours/transport.
Cons: Hot water service too hot to enjoy a shower.
Pros: Breakfast was included which was a lovely start to each day. The room was clean and comfortable and the loft style bedroom was perfect. Loved the outdoor pool and undercover area which meant even on the one rainy day we had, we could still be outside enjoying the tropical vibe. Highlight was definitely the live music on Saturday night - the lovely resort staff transformed into a fabulous brand
Cons: Nothing we didn't like. This place was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Great rooms, friendly staff
Cons: No hot water which i would expect for the price. Pool is right in the middle of all unit and it was VERY loud, and the pool curfew time is not enforced so it also went late at times.
Pros: Really friendly staff who were willing to go the extra yard to help us with whatever we needed. Great pool area. Delicious meals at the restaurant.
Cons: WiFi in rooms would be nice. You have to go outside to get it, but the area you go to is in the garden, has comfy seating and is under cover.
Pros: Excellent hosts and helpful staff. Very good food at the restaurant. Easy access to local tours, airport, and town.
Pros: Staff were exceptional - couldn’t do enough. We were able to borrow snorkelling gear and as many towels as we needed (very helpful for a family of six going off to the beach, blue holes etc). Set up with villas great (upstairs queen and downstairs singles) and good kitchenette with own fridge etc. Breakfasts filling.
Cons: Didn’t seem to be enough hot water so had a few cold showers (we had some cooler weather) and distance from the beach a problem (but didn’t really impact because you couldn’t swim in the water there anyway).
Pros: 1606 Restaurant is fine dining in a relaxed setting and the chocolate mousse is a must for any lovers of chocolate. The studio rooms are clean and comfortable and ideal for a relaxing holiday for 2 or a small family.
Cons: The hot water in the shower is temperamental, but hey, this is the tropics so hot water is not needed.
Pros: Property had a nice feel and there was a few good spots to relax. Pool was nice and well maintained. Breakfast was great, and the few other meals we had at the onsite restaurant were good. Staff were all very friendly, accommodating, and helpful for information and booking tours etc. A short walk into town.
Cons: If I had to pick on something, we had no hot water for the first couple of days. Had to ask a couple of times before it was sorted, but it wasn’t a huge deal and staff were cool when I hassled them about it.
With a stay at The Espiritu in Luganville, you'll be 4 mi (6.5 km) from SS President Coolidge and 12.9 mi (20.8 km) from Matevulu Blue Hole. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Luganville? This hotel has facilities measuring 1033 square feet (96 square meters), including conference space. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfasts buffet was superp and not forgetting the comfortable bed and the pool!!!
Cons: Sadly, didn't know that there was no balcony but apart from the unexpected it that difinately meet my expectations
Pros: The hotel is in Luganville town centre, close to the vegetable/Fruit market and to the largest supermarket in Luganville. You can explore the Woman's Craft Market (much better prices then in Port Vila). It is a good place to arrange trips to explore the Island. The Hotel rent cars if you want to do it alone, however, I recommend to take a local guide who can tell you a bit about the places you visit. The Hotel is very comfortable with good dinners and simple breakfast (extra for eggs). Has a good swimming pool and Friday night entertainment. Very quiet town compare to Port Vila. The room we stayed in has been renovated and had a balcony and a good air condition. Clean and comfortable.
Pros: The location was great and the setting is lovely. The staff were very helpful and especially the restaurant staff in the evening were excellent.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit disappointing and with a tour group in the hotel everything took ages. It would have been good to have some hot items available at breakfast for an extra charge.
Pros: I liked the feel of the place and the staff, the pool.
Cons: I liked it all. Maybe the food wasn’t that great.
Pros: Great little hotel with clean facilities, helpful courteous staff. The food is here is excellent
Pros: Really good food, well prepared and served. Well varied menu offering a good choice of cuisines and tastes. Good strong coplimentary broad band throughour the property. Friendly & attentative staff
Pros: Good location
Cons: Only two channels in the t.v
Pros: All the staff was very friendly. Terry, one of the staff members was very attentive in looking after us for the week . The meals were great - menu had variety, tasty and right size. The kitchen made a cake (see attached photo) for one of guys who had a birthday without being asked. Lovely touch. The rooms have just been renovated - clean, reasonable size and serviced each day. Bed was good too - supportive, no bow in the middle.... Had a room near reception to wash and hang dive gear.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is the room we had could do with clothes hanging space if possible. Very minor.... another room we saw had hanging space.
Pros: The staff at the Espiritu were amazing. Very friendly, always ready to help out or just have a chat by the bar! The bar/pool/restaurant have a great, relaxed vibe. Exactly what I was after
Cons: I can’t think of one thing! It’s exactly as advertised with the huge plus of being the friendliest hotel I stayed at on my trip so far :-)
Pros: Great location. Staff couldn’t do enough.
Cons: Location is in the Main Street. Disappointed that there are no beaches in the area. Different to access property if returning late.
Located in Luganville, Beachfront Resort is by the ocean, a 2-minute drive from Luganville Market and 11 minutes from SS President Coolidge. Featured amenities include express check-out, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. This resort has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Pros: The staff are excellent. A special thanks to Dave and Andrea in reception. All staff are relaxed and pleasant and always attentive to your needs.
Pros: It is a very nice and pleasant place.
Cons: Coolidge bar is very overpriced, but as everywhere on the island. Be ready to accept this condition!
Pros: Breakfast was very limited
Cons: with some of the staff there was a communication barrier
Pros: Location was great but the staff made our stay amazing
Cons: No to say it's bad, but the water is heated by sola power and if it's a cloudy day, it's a cool shower. Great that they are energy efficient and they will change to power if you want.
Pros: Great location close to Luganville with a range of accommodation options. Great pool and large open areas for the children to play. Very friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast was lovely.
Pros: Food was great, as were the staff.
Cons: Tea / Coffee for purchase was somewhat overpriced.
Pros: Everything was OK, I liked the propriety, the staff, the room, the pool but the best was the dinner, especially the poulet fish. The breakfast was basic but OK.
Cons: Not the best location but if you rent a car it is OK, not very far from the city. I didnt like the beach... a grey-brown sand ,like a dust.
Pros: Great resort, walking distance to town, quiet and peaceful and lovely staff.
Pros: Pool was close and the ocean just outside the garden.
Cons: Wifi could be better and missing TV on the room.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: Room very clean, staff very accommodating, free transfers to & from the airport. 2 new Water bottles every day. Great English breakfast.
Cons: We found the area around pool area needed repairs. Deck lifting and even though a pool cleaner was going it felt slimy on sides & under foot. The air-con was not stable. A few times the Power went off in afternoon & staff forgot to reset it. Most TV stations in French.
Pros: I like the fact that the staff were kind and always happy to assist the guests. The owner was also available to chat with his guests so that was very nice.
Cons: I think the pay tv service could improve a bit, maybe get Digicel PlayGo tv or Servicom tv is always good. Many channels for the guests to watch and pick from
Pros: Local staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: 1. Breakfast was the same every morning 2. Amenities and room details were not the same as advertised. No phone in the room, TV never worked during our stay, there were cups and a jug but no tea/coffee even tea spoons, no iron which we had to ask for and signed out & in for using it. 3. Only 1 power point which was used for the lamp. 4. The internet was not working for most (5days) our stay. 5. No instruction manual for guests information such as emergence evacuation, contact details if guest need assistance etc.
Cons: No TV working
Pros: VERY comfortable bed. Puck up and drop off to airport was on time and good quality vehicle.
Cons: Overpriced for what is Not an international standard accomidation, poor building quality, pool was unclean and slimy a real health hazard, pool surrounds are warping with sharp rusty screws exposed, slamming doors in echoing hallway, choice of breakfast is very limited and the same every morning, water in shower/bath was less than luke warm and didn't improve despite request and staff trying to fix it.. No tea and coffee makinf facilities available in room you have to go diwnsrairs to ask and they will bring some up.
Pros: In the centre of town, big rooms, comfortable bed and a big Olympic sized pool. Clean but sterile. Poor staff were so friendly but their hands were tied in respect if some of our needs ( see below) They helped with broadening limited breakfast choices.
Cons: Lack of atmosphere, clinical like a hospital. Very few guests, 2 or 3 in a place that can take 38. Like a ghost hotel. What really annoyed me beyond belief was the fact that it was the only place in Luganville with a TV in the room. Only problem was that it would only broadcast in French from Noumea. Other gusts have vigorously complained as I did, but the owner a Vanuatu born Chinese( who owns half of Luganville) did not care. His arrogance in this regard is annoying. Many Australians come here and no one speaks French. As an owner his downright disrespect for his paying customers is appalling. Staff told me everyone complains about that issue. Asked if I could have access to a DVD player in room and owner said no. Also to get hot water in the brand new bathroom the tap for hot water had to run for 15 minutes. A complete waste of water. The whole experience felt like the Truaman show.
Pros: My plane was delayed, but there was not issue or drama with the motel picking me up from the airport at 1.30 in the morning. It was very much appreciated
Cons: There was no hot water in the shower and the bed was VERY hard.
Pros: A nice new hotel, wonderful staff, clean comfortable rooms. Good location and nice breakfast which you have to pre order. No buffet
Cons: There is no elevator and the staircase is very high to reach the first floor so not super convenient with heavy suitcases. The hotel has an amazing 25 metres swimming pool being the reason why i chose it. However the water got green so they need to maintain it better

Cons: Big disappointment
Pros: Location, cleanliness and friendliness
Cons: Continental breakfast was very low standard
Pros: Friendly staff makes most things possible, very helpful with tour bookings. Staff sometimes sits in the hotel after work or during break, which adds to the atmosphere. Great breakfast!
Cons: Sometimes WiFi is not very strong
Pros: Comfort bed
Cons: No soap and no milk and no proper coffee. The price is quite expensive which should have include breakfast.
Pros: The Raffles of Luganville. Everybody who is anybody will stop by sometime!
Cons: The local mini buses. Stick with the taxis and check the price before you open their door.
Pros: Beautiful garden a tropical paradise Great location
Cons: Only there 1 night
Pros: The location was centrally located in the main street, with plenty of choices to eat
Cons: Overpriced, in need of renovation
Pros: I loved the fabulous retro ambiance, gorgeous gardens & friendly owner - altogether super clean, comfy and well managed, right in the middle of town for cafe and dining adventures. Highly recommend.
Cons: Lights in room didn't work. Power points in room didn't work. Was told my credit card would be charged on arrival however when I went to leave they said I still had to pay. I showed them the info said it would get charged to my card and they said no. I went to pay with my card and they said I couldn't. So made me get cash out from closest ATM which charged a $20 AUD fee plus currency conversion costs to pay for my room. It was cheap and you get what you pay for....never again.

Pros: Nothing except leaving the last day Probably the guys for the diving. I have asked some informations to one of them. He was friendly and nice to explain the Coolidge Dive. Now if I was not so upset with the hotel and staff approach I would have booked with them but I have decided to give as less as I can to them so I have booked with another diving centre. Anyway they look professional and somebody was going with them.
Cons: Staff are really not motivated and not nice with the clients. I asked about the activities and they replied there is a book on the table go and read it so at the end we did some activities booking directly with them and not through the hotel as they add nothing only a fee. I asked for a taxi and they replied go on the road and stop them. They were not caring at all about you. I have found another couple that was there the first day and they said they moved to another hotel since they don’t like the staff. I would have done the same if not payed. The last 2 days we were alone in the hotel. The breakfast included, what they call continental breakfast is made of pancakes, white bread, milk, coffee (Nescafé), one plate with grapefruit, melon and cereals whatever else like eggs and sandwiches you should buy even a coffee other than Nescafé. Room are like the pictures, water in the shower with a very low flow and wc not working properly. Need a refurbishment. The swimming pool outside is not usable as always dirty and not cleaned. I did not see anybody in the pool in 5 days. The beach is not at all like the pictures and not nice very small and with boats around You are not in the city but you need a taxi or bus to get there (300 VNT each way), consider it The restaurant it is not bad (average), price is expensive to be Luganville but we mostly eat there to avoid transportation and moving. Menu is small but food is ok.
Pros: Great staff. Good menu.
Cons: Location is a bit away from town. Good for diving trips though.
Pros: The local staff were very nice and pleasant. By far the stand out and only real positive of this establishment.
Cons: The place feels empty and has little to no atmosphere. The room was overpriced for the standard provided. We got a room at the The Espiritu which was so so much better, and cheaper in price. We felt that there was no real organisation to the hotel and tour desk (there is no desk that is clear to see) We asked one of the dive instructors (maybe a French lady) about options to go diving the following day, she was very unfriendly and tried to pressure close us on booking dives if she went back to ask the office which dive sites they were going on. Was quite awkward and very unprofessional. We did not dive once with them and had a fantastic experience diving with Pacific Dive who are based within The Espiritu Hotel. All in all to summarise, no we did not enjoy our stay and felt we we paid highest rates in all areas for poor return. Would not recommend.
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff, peaceful atmosphere and cool airy accommodation.
Pros: Staff were so happy and helpful Peaceful stay Diving tours were incredible
Cons: Shuttle was late for pick up for airport transfer which made us pushed for time. Toilet kept running 24/7.
Pros: The food was excellent. Staff were always looking out for the customers needs.premises were neat and the surrounding trees and vines created a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike. Dive gear was a bit pricey to rent but not a big deal.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing as were the staff and the owners
Cons: The WiFi was not great but it’s a remote location so understandable
Pros: Staff were excellent with a blend of local and regional knowledge.
