Nice old house, quiet location
The fresh produce served in the restaurant, especially the vegetables.
The room, especially the bathroom which is required to walk up a narrow staircase. Perhaps ours is the lowest category room in the hotel. There are, however, some nicer rooms on the ground floor which I could see as I walkd past.
The receptionist on arrival and the two girls who served dinner were very friendly. The evening meal was very good and reasonably priced; The room was great, large and with a nice view out into the courtyard. The double bed was two single beds joined together but it was large and still comfortable. There was a large bath in the bathroom; The hotel was an excellent location for a visit to Arles and Les Baux de Provence.
The toilet behind an adjoining door within the bathroom was cold. The water from the washbasin was lukewarm in the morning although the shower was fine. The gentleman who checked us out in the morning appeared disinterested and did nothing with his manner to encourage us to revisit the hotel.. I was disappointed that he had charged us for a breakfast that we had not ordered or taken.
General stand was good nothing to complain abouty
Noise of the railway. We would have eaten there in the evening but it was too quiet due to lack of customers.
Beautiful hotel in the country that was just 10 minutes from Arles. So it has all the advantages of a quiet country setting with the benefits of shopping, dining and historical sites close by.
