9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable. We used the common area to hang out while our kids were sleeping - it was nicely decorated with comfortable seating. The inside was like an oasis. We visited on our way to Carlsbad Caverns and it was an easy 1-1.5 hour drive.
Cons: We weren't sure how to check out and ended up having to text a staff member who was off-site. That being said, he responded very quickly with easy directions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Adobe Rose was beautiful! My daughter and I were headed out on a lengthy road trip and Carlsbad Caverns was our first stop. The inn was in a perfect location for us. The room was adorable and very clean. The attention to detail was outstanding! We really enjoyed the continental breakfast the next morning in the common room. Can’t wait to come back!
Cons: Next time we won't stay on a Sunday, we really wanted to try the attached restaurant, but unfortunately it is closed on Sunday's!! We hear it’s amazing!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Adobe Rose Inn was a surprise for us because it was one of the best stays we had while travelling through the US. The room was huge and the interior more than comfortable and well chosen. Everything is thoughtful placed with lovely details. The intercontinental breakfast also was one of the best! Even the restaurant at the other side of the House was Great. I can totally recommend the Adobe Rose Inn and if we ever should be near Artesia again we will definitely come back!!!!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing! Staff was friendly and professional. Place was quiet. Cool rooms decor wise and temperature wise. We're staying again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was literally attached to dinner options, that was nice because it was very hot ha. The continental breakfast was also nice and we had a nice nights sleep in the big bed!
Cons: They were about 10 minutes late to let us in despite us calling about 50 minutes ahead. I also found mascara residue on one of the towels in our room, thankfully we had enough other towels to avoid using that one but still not ideal.

Pros: Check in and out were super simple. The whole place was very updated and clean. I wish there were more allergen friendly breakfast options and I do wish the pool had been actually heated like it says online. :(
Cons: We booked here specifically for the indoor pool which online claims to be "heated" it was definitely NOT heated. The water was freezing and we could not really enjoy our swim and were not able to stay in long at all. You need to change your advertising if your pool isn't actually going to be heated.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great friendly welcome after a long drive, spacious clean rooms and a huge comfy bed. What more can you ask for? Best value hotel I’ve been to for a long time. If in the area again, wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Great hotel.
Cons: Plastic / styrofoam plates / cutlery at breakfast - not nice and not eco
4.5 Okay
Cons: I called in advance twice to get an earlier check in time and both times I was told that it would not be a problem but it was. I arrived at one when check in is at two and was told to wait in the lobby while my room was being cleaned and it would be a short wait. After 30 minutes I asked again when my room would be ready and the response was that I could wait outside the room while housekeeping was cleaning it. I laughed thinking it was a joke but told her, " No, i'm not going to do that." I ended up waiting another 30 minutes until the normal check in time and asked if the room was ready, and was told, "Oh, i thought you were already in your room." This was very aggravating to hear and very unprofessional. Also it has been a month and i still have not received an email of my receipt and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

7.0 Good
Cons: More help needed in the restaurant. Patience is a virtue is what the staff uttered when I kindly asked if we seat ourselves or if we wait. It was a simple question to a different table already seated when no one was visibly working,
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It's location, and size of rooms
Cons: I could feel dirt on feet when I took my shoes off where they don't vacuum, hotel doesn't has an elevatorbwas hard to climb stairs.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Big room. Rubber bath mat in tub. Full breakfast. Helpful staff
Cons: Our AC wasn’t working and the window would not open. They did upgrade us but we had to wait until 10.30 p.m to be moved. We were ready for bed and had to dress and repack. The staff did help us with the move. Apparently the problem was the maintenance man on call did not respond to repeated telephone calls from the staff.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything the staff was rude the room wasn't ready and was very dirty
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There wasn’t anything that we Didn’t like. Restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate our grandchildren’s requests. Red sauce on enchiladas were too hot for him and they brought out sour cream and said we are so.....sorry. Ice cream wasn’t on the menu but they made not one but two oversized sundaes for them. Kudos to the restaurant staff

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Property was larger than it seems. Meeting room worked well. Swimming pool was nice
Cons: Hot tub wasn't working. Bathtub needed work
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Large room with microwave, refrigerator and plenty of space for storage. heater in bathroom warmed up the space very quickly. The indoor pool and hot tub were absolutely great; best I've seen at this price point.
Cons: Mattresses seemed a bit dated but were okay; not a problem but not the best I've slept on. The shower was okay but could use an update; the curtain rod was barely secured. We waited for 45 minutes for the included breakfast on a morning where there wasn't a crowd at all. Once it came, the breakfast was excellent. The waitress was nice and refilled our coffee a couple of times and was apologetic. Likely that something was going on in the kitchen that morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean.
Cons: The jacuzzi was broke
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous breakfast choices, very friendly and helpful staff, great room - clean and large.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location on the west side of Artesia in the Pecos valley. After a long haul across the oilfields and the aptly-named Loco Hills, the Best Western Pecos Inn in Artesia was a real oasis. One thing I liked was, it had an extra-large cart that allowed me to lug all my boxes, bags, computers, backpacks, telescopes, fiddles--you get the idea. Didn't have to make 2 or 3 trips to the car on a hot afternoon. Staff was polite and well-informed, modern room key is the touch variety where you don't even have to stick the card in a slot. The Pecos Inn seems to have been extensively remodeled from a more traditional past, but it has all the features modern travelers want. The building was once an open motel--I think--but it's now card-access/front door access only. Artesia is a quiet town, very pretty after the sand dunes covered with pumpjacks to the east. To the west is Cloudcroft and the Sacramento Mountains, and Alamogordo and White Sands an easy 3 or 4 hours' drive to the west. Pecos Inn was a good place for me. And it's even named after a real geographic feature in the town, the Pecos River.
6.3 Good
Pros: The pool was nice.
Cons: Kids running around and knocking on doors. It was too expensive. Not worth the price. The restaurant was not very good.

Pros: Accessible to the venue we were visiting, but Artesia is not a big town. Breakfast was good and alleviated us from having to go out of our way to find a restaurant. That is the main reason for booking at this hotel, breakfast included. Security is excellent and there was no fear with our vehicle in the parking lot. All staff personnel encountered were very cordial and met our expectations. Thank you for a great, quick visit.
Cons: Nothing that can be done with mother nature but the flies were horrible. They were everywhere, plus we probably brought a couple home with us that ended up in the vehicle.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hot breakfast.
Cons: Pool not available
7.0 Good
Cons: The main reason I booked there was for the swimming pool especially for the kids but they didn't have any water in it and didn't even feel like they needed to include it in booking details that they didn't have it or were going to have it

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had to do a last minute cancelation on the site and the property was kind enough to not charge me a cancellation fee which they could have charged I have stayed there before I will stay there again
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed was big
Cons: Poor breakfast. Went to McDonald's instead. Carpet had nasty stains
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It was dirty. No ice. No breakfast as advertised unless you call cold cereal and Twinkies breakfast. Parking was terrible. you could barely get in to park because of people trailers. Showers just trickled water.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Old motel, needs updating. Motel located on a very busy street, truck traffic wakes you up at 5AM. Watch out for the fine print as an added $18 for a "property service fee" is charged to their posted price. Terrible watered down coffee. I would not stay at this property again. Spend the extra money to stay in Carlsbad.
1.0 Poor
Pros: nothing
Cons: TOO EXPENSIVE !!! no smoking room smelled a lot like previous smokers were still there !!! Cleaning crew did not visit, just clean towels provided !! Beware of big trucks !!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. And I had a smoking room... which is hard to find now days. I enjoyed my stay very much.
Cons: I found nothing wrong, the place is a little old, but not bad at all.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Did not eat bfast.. Early meeting w bfast served by clients. All tile bath big plus. Very clean and modern. Very quiet room.. All in all a good stay.
Cons: Ice machine was out of order. Staff seemed to not know about it being down.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Good refrigerator (but very noisy) and AC, small but decent bathroom with good shower. I didn't like much about this place. The location was good for what we wanted to do, but noisy as it was near a freight train rail line and a major truck route street.
Cons: Staff was grumpy and seemed resentful when asked for simple assistance with a door keycard that didn't work, getting cups/glasses and clothes hangers. Overpriced for what was offered: no amenities in room such as coffee maker or hair dryer; no cups or glasses and no clothes hangers until I asked. The "free breakfast" offered was just cold cereal, some packaged muffins, coffee and juice on one table in the tiny lobby (most places I've stayed, for less money, have some hot items, hot and cold cereal, a variety of pastries, fruit, a variety of drinks, available in an actual dining area. The room was not completely painted, the fan/light in the bathroom was so loud and clanky that we used a flashlight most of the time. Maybe when renovations and construction are done, staff learns how to be friendly and courteous, and food service gets better it will be OK - lots of room for improvement!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was Good, Not great for the price. The Staff was Extremely Friendly, Helpful and courteous almost like Family. Parking was good, got a downstairs room and the AC was nice!! Continental breakfast for me, honeybuns and coffee works !!!
Cons: The price looked good on the booking end, but, getting the bill, then there was an $18 facilities/service charge. Threw the price of a budget motel over the top ! $107+ for a room 40+miles from Roswell, 40 miles from Carlsbad. I could have been closer to my leisure destination a few bucks more. Well, they Got me...……… :(
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast had real milk and coffee. Comfortable beds. Quite environment despite being on a main highway.
Cons: Breakfast could have real orange juice and more protein choices. The bathroom had a shaky toilet and the fan was not in operation.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The young lady at the check in counter was very courteous and had a very attractive smile that just made me feel welcome.
Cons: Parking up front is tight but they have a large lot in back with access to front
7.5 Good
Pros: I enjoyed the location of the property alot because it was convent for coming and going to places.
Cons: I did not really have much of a complaint except that their need to be more parking or a sign that says which room numbers park where.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: No one bothered us and it had direct TV.
Cons: It had a funky smell to all the rooms..... the rooms were not very clean. The staff tried to put me in a double bed room when I asked for one bed room. The double bed room still had throw up on the wall near the bed. The second room (one bed room) was ok. We ran out of tissue paper and had to go buy our own.
5.0 Okay

Pros: wifi was good
Cons: nothing better than a 1 star motel
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was nice and clean with a small refrigerator and microwave. It was a good location right on the main street.
Cons: When I went to the office in the middle of the day it was all locked up no contact number or anything. I think it was about $20 a night overpriced.
7.5 Good
Pros: Was clean. Floor, sink, bathroom had been recently updated with tile, granite, wood. New toilet and fixtures as well. Flat screen tv. Microwave and mini fridge.
Cons: Some of the door frame was missing, could hear rats in walls during night even though none of Them were in our room, could smell car emissions into our room on lower level
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place didn't look all that great from the outside but it was spotless on the inside. The lowest price in town was why I selected it. The value for money was a sure thing.
Cons: The paint in the room was a little bright for my taste and the shower was dated.
