The Water Club is an exclusive escape from the bustle of Atlantic City, offering travelers access to the casino, restaurants, and nightlife of the attached Borgata. Higher-end business and leisure travelers are attracted to The Water Club for its superb meeting rooms, designer shops, and two-floor spa.
The Water Club is best known for being attached to the Borgata casino on Renaissance Pointe. From this location, guests are within walking distance of tons of entertainment options, restaurants, and nightlife, plus only two miles from the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Other attractions within a 10-minute drive include Farley State Marina, New Jersey Transit train station, Atlantic City Convention Center, retail outlet shops, and the boardwalk and beach.
Due to the hotel’s sophisticated stature, many of the amenities, such as the adults-only heated pools, aren’t designed with families in mind. In addition to the casino, concert venue, and restaurants next door at the Borgata, there are two outdoor pools, three indoor pools, a two-floor spa, and designer shopping on-site at the hotel. High-tech meeting rooms, a modern fitness center, and many more features are also on-site for guest’s enjoyment.
The 800 contemporary accommodations at the hotel offer modern furnishing but come with more amenities and better views than the Borgata. In addition to rooms being more up to date, they also all feature flat-screen TVs, bathrobes, iPod docks, and wet bars. Luxurious features in the rooms include customized Sealy mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets.
The level of quality offered at the hotel and the number of convenient amenities comes with one of the highest price tags in Atlantic City.

It was little past 9 am Friday morning, when the pool at the spa level closed down for non-spa guests. I was politely notified that spa was closed so I grabbed my stuff and left the pool area. Then I remembered seeing the men's locker room area by the fitness center entrance, where I saw a small fridge with water bottles. The door was closed so I opened the door and went in to grab a water bottle. Then there was a staff so I asked if I can get some water. He looks up and down at me and told me to go ahead. Then I saw a basket with clementines, above the fridge so I took one clementine. Then the staff says "you asked for water, not for food." as I was leaving the area. I apologize taking one clementine by mistake, maybe that wasn't for the hotel guest. Maybe it was for the spa guest only. Honestly, I still don't know who was that for. However, do I deserve that kind of attitude for just one clementine, while I am at the hotel spending over $1000 between the room fee and playing at the casino?
Water Club could use an update. Reasonably comfortable but it's been a few years since the hotel has been updated.
