Pros: Great location with awesome outlook on the Lake Balaton, the guest house is surrounded by vineyards. The stuff was really great - nothing was problem. The rooms were clean and well equipped, wifi working, breakfast excellent. I recommend you to taste their wines - interesting experience.

Cons: They have nice wines but a little overpriced. The entrance road could be better - it is unpaved about 200 meters long - It can be quite challenging when raining...

Pros: Everything else was good especially the view! The breakfast was filling with fantastic coffee. Very quiet area with a few good restaurants around.

Cons: It was 2 single bed instead of one double and no reception. The shops are far and not much to do only drink wine...

Pros: The accommodation was perfect, beautiful views in the middle of the wine region.The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice spacious bathroom.The guests can also use the common kitchen next to the room.Breakfast was lovely and very generous. They also care for lactose&glutene intolerance.

Pros: The view from the terrace during breakfast was amazing! The interior of the hotel is thoroughly designed, the black and white theme with high quality materials was a relief after a long hiking trip on the hills ... The two ladies who received us were extremely polite, supportive and even arranged lactose free cheese variation for me for the breakfast. Very very recommended!!

Cons: Only the matrace was a little soft for me, but this is only a matter of taste and sleeping habit, nothing to do with the great service experience what we got there! So I would not score it as a negative thing! :) Was far from the city center, so during the wine festival one of us could not drink! :)

Pros: Lovely location right in the vineyard. Room was immaculate and comfortable. Delicious breakfast on the terrace. Friendly staff and welcoming glass of the local wine.

Pros: The staff is very kind and available to satisfy your requests. There is a private parking area, free of charge. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The onsite restaurant offers a good dinner at a good price. We asked to have an earlier breakfast the day of departure and they agreed. Excellent value for money.

Pros: Nice apartment after some problems getting in (there was nobody there and we waited for the host to arrive after we phoned her). Lots of mosquitoes - fortunately there's a mosquito screen. Adequate breakfast. Remote-controlled closed parking space.

Cons: A/C didn't work - fortunately the night was pretty cool, so opened window and mosquito net dealt with the problem.

Pros: The hostel is very nice. our Room was big and very clean and looked nice. You have free parkingplace for car.. Staff was helpful and kind. The beach is only 5 min walk from hostel. The food in restaurang was excellent and cheap. The enviroment is nice and you can find nice hikingtrails nearby.

Cons: They could add some ham and cheese to breakfast and cucumba and tomatoes. The omelet was very tasty. .

Pros: Nice, quiet room, and clean, and a friendly host. Breakfast is good, with made to order eggs, cheese, coffee, etc. Not a huge buffet, but definitely adequate. Although the restaurant was closed for dinner for the season, Nikoletta, the owner, offered to cook me a meal from the menu, which was excellent.

Pros: Very comfortable bed, very quiet no noise, spacious appartment, close to sea, very easy to find as actually on Balaton cycle route.Safe secure bicycle parking. Check was no problem although I had forgotten to hive an arrival time.Tv had an english news channel for those only speaking english.Freshly cooked omelette for breakfast. Able to have an evening meal cooked aswell, we just had snacks as wed eaten at lunchtime but very nicely cooked.

Cons: Nothing very comfortable pension, no brown bread at breakfast but a minor detail and the white bread was very fresh.

Pros: It is a renovated place which is something not very common in Balaton.

Cons: Prices in Balaton are in general overrated. It is more expensive to stay in a lake that on the sea beach in other parts of Europe!

Pros: the environment of the building is full of comfort and romantic in the evenings.

Pros: The breakfasts, which were included in the price, were good, and we chose to eat dinner there twice, which was also good. The views from our room and the outside were breathtakingly beautiful. We enjoyed sitting outside and seeing Lake Balaton. The free parking was great and allowed us to drive to many nearby places. The owners, as well as the staff, were friendly; and we enjoyed talking with them. We would definitely stay there again.

Cons: The sink was a little small in the bathroom, and water splattered everywhere when we used it. My husband is tall, and the ceiling was low around the outside area of the room. With this said, this place was definitely worth its reasonable value.

Pros: Gorgeous interior and the rooms are comfy with a breath taking view. The breakfast (included in price) was wonderful. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Pros: It is a very nice house with great terrace. The hosting family is just wonderful, helpful and always nice! Small self-service bar available. Breakfast was quite simple but everyday with a little bit of extra. Style and furniture much better than the normal Hungarian family driven pension.

Cons: WiFi was not working. Would be great if they would offer evening events, grills, Wein tasting or so. The location would be perfect for such things.

Pros: Our wish for a silent room was completely fulfilled. The room had a nice atmosphere, the bed was very comfortable. Diversified breakfast and dinner. Interesting wine tasting event. Covered parking (was very comforting during the ice-storm).

Pros: Very nice hotel, close to restaurants and marina. Spa is very nice and clean. Great facilities for kids (pool is pretty warm, has shallow area - about 30cm deep for kids to play, play room next to restaurant, outside playing area, restaurant had plastic cutlery/plates/bowls for kids and bib).

Cons: Although the staff spoke English almost all signs/instructions around the hotel were only in Hungarian.

Pros: The hotel is a very quick walk from the train and bus stations, even with luggage. Everything is in walking distance so there is no need to have a car. The staff spoke perfect English and all were exceptionally helpful. Breakfast and dinner had many fresh and delicious offerings.

Cons: Juice at breakfast was not cold. No ice. Staff could be more diligent updating the wine tasting list.

Pros: Amazing kids’ play area, lovely garden with sandbox, slide and trampoline. Great spa facilities.

Pros: It was very close to train station. Very clean modern rooms with good air conditioning. Both the breakfast and the dinner buffet was excellent with many delicious gourmet choices. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Cons: We didn't like that the large bed consists of 2 smaller mattresses pushed together with a gap in middle.

Pros: Personnel was always extremely friendly and professional, location is excellent in Badacsony close to wineries and the beach. Rooms are spacious.

Cons: Hotel looks good on the photos but quite some details are worn off and not taken care and apparently the owner keeps a very tight budget - they spared money on some important details and they don't seem to spend on maintenance. We had broken bathroom appliances (e.g. shower head holder), extremely noisy bathroom ventilation, worn-out and hence too soft matress, extremely small maybe 22" TV that elder people cannot see very well from the bed etc. The wellness area had a really cold steam sauna (and the personnel said they cannot adjust anything because it's all pre-set), ugly broken ceramic details or broken light cover in the saunas that were seemingly like that for a longer time. They have two dining rooms, one is rather OK but the bigger one has a cold atmosphere and really cheap details, simple chairs, tables, too much light etc. All in all it's felt that the hotel was built with a philosophy to use creative design but spare on details wherever possible - at the same time it doesn't reflect on the price that is on the higher end. And I need to tell about the food - it was in general OK, but there was simply not a single warm dish for vegetarians or even health conscious people neither for breakfast or dinner. Even the omlette was with ham but one morning they haven't had even eggs - they offered only fried and smoked and grilled meat. Don't mention about maybe grilled or boiled vegetables - nothing. They only know about meat, potatoes, pasta, rice. Salats were only on the cold table but also very limited selection and often with mayonnaise. Bakery was sometimes not fresh. Desserts are only the old-fashioned thick pastry-based tall cakes with whipped cream - they make them like this since the 70s. All in all the heavy food was well-done but it wasn't possible to eat light and tasty.

Pros: I liked the fact that the rooms are individually named and coloured. The size of my room was very good especially as I was on my own. Air con worked well and was definitely needed in the extreme weather conditions in Hungary this year. We ate in the restaurant for my mum's birthday and my dish was excellent. They even brought out some of my mushroom sauce for my dad and he now states that is the best mushroom sauce he has ever eaten.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the property but it is quite a walk into Badacsony and no public transport.

Cons: No aircon in the room which made the house very hot. There was only 1 mobile fan for the entire apartment which is not great. The owner, who stays at the property, was not welcoming at all. She made a comment why we arrived late (due to traffic) and despite agreeing for keeping our car at the property for couple of extra hours after checkout she changed her mind for no reason and kicked our car out. The property only accepts cash payment which is also not very convenient. I think there are better places to stay than Anna Ilona Vendeghaz especially at this price range.

Cons: The receptionist wasn't at the reception most of the time, we had to wait long to check in, 2-3 guests were waiting in line. The furniture and interior is outdated, the bed was small and pillow and blanket wasn't comfortable. The hotel is right next to the train route so extremely noisy.

Pros: The location was perfect. Very close to the train and surrounding vineyards.

Pros: Very nice big room with big bathroom. Nice balcony, but unfortunately we had view to railway (but trains are not often), very good parking place for our car. Very nice price.

Cons: Awfull brakfast and coffee in the coffee-machine. We stayed for 2 nignts, no any room cleaning this time. Last day we have to ask to open restaurant for breakfast although it should work this time.

Pros: I can recommend this place! Great location - very close to the Balaton, the train station, the bus stop and the most important vineyard :). Very comfortable, cozy and clean room, in the bathroom the towels (the hair dryer is available in the reception, the air conditioning is available. The breakfast is good. The staff is very very very very friendly, kind and helpful.

Pros: Amazing view (!!!) from the balcony, beautiful hotel with extraordinary owner. It was a real pleasure to stay there, i felt welcomed, relaxed and at home. I hope to come back soon (and for longer!).

Cons: No TV set in the room , no breakfast and no possibilities of breakfast , the only way to pay is cash , the old building"s room smells , the room rate is too expensive . When I was looking for room ,YOU , the BOOKING.COM annonce me that this room is the last free room of the pension ! ! ! It is not at all true ! ! ! From all the EIGHT - 8 room of the pension only our room was occupated (by us) , noone else ! This is a HORRIBLE LIE of BOOKING.COM ! ! !

Pros: I have checked the accommodation long time ago but it was overbooked most of the time. But at this time, me and my boyfriend found and empty slot. LUCKILY!We had high expectations as we usually spend our summer holiday at Badacsonytomaj and we knew what to expect. The Szeremley Vendeghaz is the most romantic, hidden and memorable spot where we ever been. We enjoyed sitting at the terrace, staring at the view and sipping our coffee for breakfast or our wine for dinner. The Vendeghaz's staff is extremely kind, he made us feel home and treated us as special guests at the same time.Thank you!

Pros: The bed was very good and the room was very clean. And the family that own the place are really Nice People. 2 minuts walk from Nagy bed and breakfast, is the very Best restaurant in Badacsony, with delicious food, local dishes and it is cheap. It is called Tilia and we will recommand it.

Pros: The owners were kind. The location of the house is good, wasn't far from the lake.

Cons: The bathroom wasn't very clean. The sink is very small in the bathroom. We were happy for the air conditioner, but it's above the bed, so we couldn't use it during the night. We could every noise from the social area through the door. The WiFi connection was weak.

Cons: room was very simple an had a mouldiness smell. It had public toilets that where 2 out of order an rest not clean(really not). Its a youth hostel without renovating since the 80s it seems. Its way too expensive for that very low confort.
