Pros: Very nice garden, huge room with terrace very friendly host. Location is very nice and quiet

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything :). The place is great, the people are friendly, warm and helpful. It’s green, quiet, stylish, clean... and I could go on. Can’t wait to return.
Cons: I’d live to get all that for a lower price :). However, I wouldn’t trade any of the current conditions for a lower price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Located in a very nice garden. Owner really helpful and carring. The whole house has a unique atmosphere, decorated nicely. Definitely recommend.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Extremely comfortable and clean hotel. 5 min away by taxi of orly airport
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host was very accommodating. It was hot and she supplied a fan for me to use. The bathroom was a bit small . Parking was good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The strategic location close to Orly, and the extremely effective help of Katia who maintain a very nice atmosphere, and is able to streamline the logistics of arriving/departing Paris all by herself (including if CDG airport is involved).
Cons: A power socket in the bathroom would be welcome

10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location and the room was very clean, staff were very polite and professional.
7.5 Good
Pros: The fire alarm went off at 11:30 pm We were all evacuated Because someone was smoking in their room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome and efficient staff checked us in and very helpful Next day also staff were nice and hotel was value for money and good location convenient
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The building is new and very clean. I really liked the new concept for the front desk and easy check out.
Cons: Well, I stayed at this hotel because I had a flight early in the morning at Orly, but the localization is not so good as it seems. First, it is impossible to stop the car in front of the hotel to drop off luggage and people. I tried to do leave my family before returning the car, with no success. I had to stop at 50m and walk with the luggage. If you are traveling with children in a rainy day it can be awful. Secondly, there is no shuttle to the airport. They advise you to use a footbridge to the Terminal 4 (Orly Sud) and walk to your Terminal...(mine was Terminal 1) or the Free Airport Bus Shuttle that stops more than 70m away. We decided for the Navette (Bus Shuttle), despite the rain. Again... if you are with children and many luggage itens it can be painful. So, if you're using the hotel because of its location, set your expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Great location, easy walk from Orly Terminal 4. Very friendly bilingual staff. Excellent food.

7.9 Good
Pros: A good place to stay for a night when going to Orly airport. Very friendly host and fresh breakfast.
Cons: The room is located in the basement of the house which means not too much natural light comes in as well as the room can be a bit damp. It was a bit confusing to find the place as there were no signs outside.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, very clean and fresh. Good shower! Nice french breakfast with sweet breads or croissants and baguette.
Overview Reviews
See hotel page Laurent Girard and his team welcome you at the doorstep of Paris, in Antony. The Originals Boutique, Hotel Maison de l'Abbaye, holds an unusual place steeped in history and surrounded by nature. Now a hotel, the building used to be a religious training center and the retirement house of the Marianists, with its chapel remaining now the only trace of its former life.In this peaceful, quiet place, guests here can regenerate and enjoy the comfortable rooms in a spiritual setting like no other.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice comfortable room
Cons: We stayed in a quadruple room. First night we had enough towels and water which were not replenished for 3 people for the second night. When you have a quad room, hate to ask for these things to also refill the coffee tray and a 3rd mug!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good, close to RER train station ! Beautiful old charming building in cozy town. Old, but Very Clean and Great helpful staff in the hotel.
Cons: The Room was too small and too plain with dated furniture. Doesn't have a shower, but has a sink
6.0 Good
Pros: The location was very good. Very close to the RER station (Antony). Quite close to Orly airport. Breakfast was good. The hotel is located in a very pleasant mansion.
Cons: Shared bathroom. Honestly speaking I booked a very cheap room (so shared bathroom wasn't a surprise).
7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good, the room very comfortable, and most of the staff were very helpful. I appreciated being given 2 fresh bottles of Evian water every day, and having a nespresso machine in the room!
Cons: The WiFi connection was unreliable and the staff didn’t seem to know what to do to get us back online. My husband helped by suggesting that they unplug the power to the modem- this quickly resolved the problem. Also, it would have been nice to have an iron available to remove the wrinkles in our clothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What I learned in particular through this stay at La Maison de l'Abbaye is that the comfort level, the friendliness of the staff, the intrigue of the surroundings, and the continuing mission of the Marianiste Order makes me want to return time and again, which I certainly will do for my bi-annual visits to Paris. The ease with which one can be transported via ReR to the heart of Paris in twenty minutes, the ambiance of Antony village, the quiet respite after a day in the hustle and bustle in the heart of the city, not to mention the appropriate cost of the accommodations, so distinct from the over inflated price of rooms in Paris city center, all make this an ideal hotel to choose! And I can't believe the added benefit of getting to both Orly or Charles de Gaulle airport with speed and ease - the hotel is a three minute, downhill walk from the trains that run so regularly to both!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Original building
Cons: Na
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful. Quiet and safe parking. A feeling of calm.
Cons: There was nothing I can think of that we found to dislike
8.3 Excellent
Pros: small and shared bathroom, but get everything you need. close to trian station. 40mins to pairs centre
5.0 Okay
Pros: A bit different. 14 ft ceilings. Quiet. Plenty of private parking. Room quite ok. NB some rooms have shared bathrooms. (Ours was small but well appointed.
Cons: A lack of staff & service. Seemed only one staff on duty. Invisible & we had to walk to the other end of main corridor to ring bell at reception to get them to fill up breakfast supplies. Tea, OJ, cutlery & more.. A single sausage + less than two portions of cold scrambled egg. WiFi didn’t work on the 3 days we were there. No bar (expected) but none nearby (& all but one closed - August in Paris)
6.8 Good
Pros: Quiet. Decent low key room. Amazing windows. Lots of church bells close.
Cons: Short hours at reception desk on weekends. I never got an email with the information on the door code and code to get keys, so had to rustle someone up using the emergency telephone number in the door.

Cons: My husband was at the Hospital Jacques Cartier, not very far away, 5 minutes by car, but not easily accessible by foot. The taxi between the two places was 20€! It’s really a shame.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Over price..!! Not worth it stay there for €255..!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly and the check in was smooth. The food at the restaurant was excellent. We stayed in a superior room with espresso machine and soft drinks in the minibar. It was great.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The proximity to the airport
Cons: The fact that the hotel ask to block 50€ per person from a credit card, although we had prepaid the room weeks ago,In case we use extras! No extras in the room, fridge unplugged with just two bottles of water which we didn't use and coffee ,tea sugar and toiletries for only two persons although we had booked a three bedroom room! Ok they released the money on our check out but the whole concept was impolite at least.Ventilation was not working properly which is important when Windows do not open and they should change the sink and bathtub as they were really worn out!
7.5 Good
Pros: Room spacious, light and agreeably decorated
4.0 Okay
Pros: Bed was fine, so was breakfast. Unfortunately not really continental as no eggs etc. mostly bread and pastries.
Cons: Location very bad, public transit into and from the city poor. Even taxi's didn't want to come out on a weekday morning! Staff doesn't speak English. Arranging for a taxi for the next morning at reception took 2 employees, half an hour, and google translate. And then the taxi couldn't even be booked, I got a call just less than 2 hours before I needed the taxi - telling me I should use Uber because staff wasn't able to book me a taxi. Also poor hygiene - mysterious large stains in carpet and hairs of previous guests in bathroom. Bad pillows and airconditioning, but the bed was fine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern interior; comes up to the pictures posted by the property owners
6.3 Good
Pros: The lady at check in was very friendly as well as the one from room service
Cons: You can’t open windows- food quality is for the rather high price really bad

7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Quite a good location. Very nice lobby and bar. Restaurant looked good (no time to try the food) Good iron. Bed o.k.
Cons: The rooms would need a makeover. The shower-pipe was broken, showering only was possible in squat, otherwise, the water-pressure wasn't high enough. Got wrong information about the walking distance to the castle. A hotel should know distances to important spots of the town.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast between 6h30 and 10h. Very good airconditioning. 5 minutes walk to a RER train. Very child friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: only 5 minutes walking from RER station and hotel staff was very nice. our room was even upgraded from standard double room to superior double room without additional fee. bed and pillows are very comfy! we had very good sleep

Pros: Great location, nice to have a bar open and great breakfast.
Cons: Hotel was not very clean and the room was musty. My wife had a reaction and was up a lot during the night coughing.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Just stay there because it’s close to office. Not good at all for tourists
6.7 Good
Cons: This hotel is strange the room clean The hall the elevator, dirty The carpet dirty with stains
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was super comfortable.
Cons: I booked the Holiday Inn but the hotel has changed the name 6 years ago. Now it's not the Holiday Inn anymore. Be careful. Also, we waited for the shuttle to come at the Orly airport but the shuttle didn't come. We waited for more than 30 min finally took a taxi, we even called the hotel. When we arrived, the shuttle was sitting in front of the hotel no one was in. I have asked an invoice and the receptionist said "Putin" in a very small voice. She didn't know I understand French. The service wasn't great at all. We will never stay there again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious, well equipped. Breakfast has a great variety of options, caters for all needs.
Cons: I think that parking is overcharged.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Elevators pretty narrow

Cons: The staff member present when we arrived was really unpleasant and rude. I am a frequent traveler and I like best western hotels but my expérience in this hotel was really bad.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice and secure location
Cons: The elevators was out of order, we all shared the service ‘elevator.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was comfortable, big room ,nice tv ,good location . Also printing available.
Cons: The only think I didn’t like was the smell in the bathroom.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel was close to the Orly airport
Cons: Dirty moldy rag was on pipes in bathroom. Staff was not able to activate the key so we had to keep returning to front desk. Morning staff was rude and unhelpful. Shuttle to airport was 'on a break' so we had to wait 40 minutes.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: L'hôtel est très bien, pour les séjours de courtes durées. L'hôtel est située près de l'aéroport. Cela nous a permis de profiter de notre dernière soirée. Le service de navette est aussi très bien, car il y a plusieurs dÃ
1.0 Poor
Pros: The hotel in general and room in particular were nothing special but at least it was clean. The hotel is close to the Orly airport but don't count on the free shuttle.
Cons: Hotel was listed as having free breakfast when we booked and our confirmation stated the same. However, we were denied breakfast by employees. Free shuttle to the airport could hold no more than 8 and was so overbooked that we had to pay to go to airport.

Pros: Serenity
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast for the low price and we were able to order dinner to the room using a delivery service that partners with the hotel to compensate for the lack of restaurants in the vicinity.
Cons: No open restaurants close by on the weekend - the hotel is located in a business district. Generally clean, but we had many of mosquitoes in the room that seemed to be coming from the air-conditioning vent.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Nobody clean the room in 8 days. Nobody take the garbage in 8 days, the water from the shower and toilet make a lot of noise because all the walls of the apartments is from carton, breakfast very very poor and location very far from center of Paris.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location of the hotel was useful in this particular area , which was exactly in-front of the metro station, and it was new with new bed, kitchen and bathroom
Cons: First, there were no daily house keeping , and when we asked the receptionist , he gave us several answers, like they clean only once a week, then another answer that we have to pay 15 Euros per day !! not to mention how rude he was while giving answers !! second, the reception closes at 10 pm which is so strange if somebody would arrive and check-in late at night what would happen !!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was our second stay. It’s very convenient to Orly, but also across the street for trips into Paris. There are grocery markets nearby. It appeared that the apartment had been refurbished. Quiet, clean, pleasant.
Cons: The lights in the lobby and entry hall are garish.
7.9 Good
Pros: It is very quiet, with friendly staff. A bit far form the city center but close to the metro line which makes it easy to reach the center of Paris quite fast.
Cons: The rooms/flats are ok, but could need some (minor) refurbishment. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything please to not change as my séjour was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are helpful. Beds are comfortable. Convenient location beside RER B line and only a 20 min trip to the centre of paris.
Cons: Room was a bit small but this was largely due to our late request for a room at the back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, kitchenette was well equipped, the bathroom was large, quality fittings and excellent hot water.
Cons: The main room was small and the TV did not have any english language stations, not even BBC news!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, good lighting (with bedside reading lamp), spacious, lots of power outlets, excellent access/security controls, near metro, stores and restos, cooking facilities and ref; many storage cabinets; room has heaters and fast wifi.
Cons: strong air freshener/disinfectant along hallway. away from night life, cafes.

8.1 Excellent (570 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thé space it was clean and quiet. We had a family bedroom and we were 4. It was modern
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was larger than in downtown hotels and quite comfortable. It is a 5-7 minute walk from a Metro station on the Blue Line opening easy access to all of Paris and to both ORLY and CDG, and the price was much better than staying in the core. The staff at reception were friendly, helpful and efficient. It was an excellent base for a short stay in Paris.
Cons: It was not a room with a view, but this was not really our objective. My main complaint would be about the breakfast room. Although the food offered in the buffet style presentation was quite good, the buffet was very poorly attended with many offerings simply NOT renewed at intervals to match the pressure from guests. Unlike many European breakfast rooms, there was no human face generally apparent to ensure that things were working well and thus it felt a little like eating in a barn.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed very comfortable, great shower pressure. Good to have aircon though it turned itself off in the night. Controls not easy to understand. Games facilities great, good parking facilities
Cons: Smell of hotel corridors was awful and rotten, Breakfast was not good. Very small selection and staff were not paying attention to the hot plates, which were left empty for quite a while. We had to ask for fresh food in the end. You pay extra for breakfast so you should feel like you are getting something for your money. Tiny supermarket croissants from a hotel in the centre of Paris. Should be offering fresh local pastries from a nearby boulangerie. Parking should be complementary to guests too.
6.7 Good
Pros: good location, breakfast
5.4 Okay
Pros: The hotel is good located next to the RER station. Nice and fairly new refurnished.
Cons: It is a nice hotel but doesn’t deserve 4*. The pictures of the rooms are much better than in reality. The rooms are smaller and the cleaning level was disappointing. We didn’t have bathrobes or slippers, only shower gel, shampoo and bar soap. The floors were dirty and we couldn’t stay in the room barefoot, the shower could be cleaned before arrival as there were black mould spots. Overall a nice stay but I wouldn’t go back I’m afraid.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay for one night on our way to vacations. Clean hotel with comfortable family suite and decent breakfast. Five minutes away from excellent restaurants in the near of Avenue Division L’Eclerc.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary during limited hours.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. Fast check-in, decent and nice room. The heating system was working perfectly and everything in the room and bathroom was clean and neat
Cons: 1) the size of the bed. I am not that tall (1m75) but the beds in the room were shorter than my size and my both feet were out of the bed. This is not a big deal per se but once you are tired after a long trip, you can't easily sleep due to this kind of minor issue. 2) another weakness I see is not in the hotel itself but the new modifications that have been done in the street in front of the hotel which causes a depressing traffic jam immediately after the exit of the hotel. In the morning it took us almost 10 minutes to get as far as 200 meters from the hotel and catch up the first roundabout. This should be considered in scheduling if you want to respect your schedule perfectly.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff, overall, were awesome. If it wasn't for staff our stay would have been a bust. The room was clean, pillows were comfy and breakfast was good with a decent variety.
Cons: It was isolated, away from restaurants and stores. The only restaurant was expensive and not practical for just landing after a12 hour flight, who wants to have to dress up when you're exhausted and just want something to eat so you can go to bed. Plus, restaurant deliveries stop at 2:00pm, so restaurant next door kinda has a monopoly. Also, no relaxing/entertaining English speaking TV channels. Furthermore, a main reason we choose this hotel was the shuttle-for convenience and to save some money- big loss! The shuttle is supose to run until noon, we called at 11:45am and they declined to pick us up because their lunch was at noon and they didn't want to risk being late for lunch. You have to reserve the shuttle in afternoon and we had to take an Uber because it was going to take too long to wait for the Shuttle to get us to the airport (though it was sitting out in parking lot). Finally, check in and check out is at noon. They denied a late check out for us, even after we arrived after noon and our room wasn't available for check in, and wasn't available until well after 1:30pm and we weren't offered any compensation. When we walked to our room the hallway was full, all the way down, of dirty linens, trash bags and service carts. We weren't expecting the Ritz but a fair representation would have been nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to airport.
Cons: -
7.0 Good
Pros: The shuttle to and from the airport was helpful. Breakfast was good and offered a varity of choices. Great restaurant next door!
Cons: Even though they do offer a shuttle, it is not a regular schedule and we were forced to wait an hour to be picked up! This was not great. The staff was not very friendly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The free shuttle service from and to the airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good

Pros: this hotel was a great value and convenient shuttle service from Orly 4 every 30 min .The staff was friendly and efficient answering our concerns.rooms were small but adequate.Location is great if you want to go to center Paris with a tram 5 min away and then Metro saving money taking the Orly bus.Next to the hotel is an excellent portuguese restaurant.

Cons: No air-conditioned cooling in the room when Paris recorded 42 degrees. An electric fan was provided in each room. The reception closes at 8pm (7pm in the weekend), so you need to go to the neighboring hotel to get your room key (or retrieve your baggage if you left it before check-in).

Pros: The area and room was very nice and clean. It really exceeded out expectations. Would definetelly recomend to my friends. Lady on reception at our arrival was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Only at the breakfast we had to wait so long until ladies topped up drinks, bread, etc. Selection of food was good.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Very clean room, next to RER, nice and calm area
Cons: Hot room without AC, very loud because of the railway station, crucifix in the room, crackling and small bad, not very kind and helpful staff. On booking it was written that "EVERY room includes a flat screen TV with cable channels. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer." When i did not find any of this in my room, the recepcionist told me that this was bookings mistake. She explains that i booked "student room" that was not specified anywhere in my booking. After some negotiations they gave me the hairdryer.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The restaurant food
Cons: 1) Room 225 needs a handyman: -bad smell in the room every evening when I arrived - Toilet door lock sticking out more than 1 cms, hurting me pretty bad when the light was tempered. - bedside light cover loose, falling off several times 2) no WC brush 3) ordered taxi was 'taken/stolen' by someone else. The 2nd one ordered never showed up. We had to walk 2 kms (with a hurt knee) to our appointment, obviously arriving half an hour late. Paying 201€ (breakfast excluded) is double the value received.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Room was not ready as I ordered a room with seperate beds. They told me to seperate the beds myself and I got linnen to make up my own bed. There was no cover for my duvet. How is that possible? After complaining they told me just to cover myself!!!??!!

Pros: good apartment hotel. located a few steps from the RER station with easy connection to Paris. the small apartment was comfortable, modern and clean. The windows are soundproof. It was inexpensive.
Cons: nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The interconnecting family rooms were very practical. The kettle, toaster and utensils were great for preparing a little snack in the room. At breakfast, there was a good choice of food: fresh croissants, warm pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages, baguette bread, toast bread, jams, cereal, machine for fresh orange juice, teas and coffee. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. The underground car park was essential due to the lack of street parking. Also, the RER train station was literally 5 minutes walk away and the trains took only 20 minutes to get into central Paris.
Cons: The mattress was a bit too firm, which resulted in shoulder and hip pain after 2 nights. Tobacco smoke (from the "outside" designated smoking areas on each floor of the building) entered the room through little ventilation slits in the wall next to the window, which was unpleasant. One morning, the staff seemed to have difficulties in the breakfast room keeping up with the demand for warm pancakes and fresh croissants, which resulted in having to wait a while. Also, there wasn't enough fresh fruit available (bananas, kiwi, apples).
7.5 Good
Pros: Neat and spacious room
Cons: Air freshener was too concentrated
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Underground parking, lots of availability Breakfast in the morning which consisted of HOT Food and Continenal Foods Large size Rooms Security at Night

Pros: Very close to the train station and it takes 20min to go to Paris. I enjoy my stay in this hotel and the room pretty big comparing the hotels in Paris. It’s a great deal if you want to have a confort stay and don’t want to pay that much.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, kitchenette was well equipped, the bathroom was large, quality fittings and excellent hot water.
Cons: The main room was small and the TV did not have any english language stations, not even BBC news!
