Cons: Breakfast was average.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel not too far away from main sights. Very friendly staff, well equipped, very nice pool and delicious food.
Cons: Bathroom well equipped but tub and shower combination needs to be renewd or fixed (leaky and mould), same with tap (loose).
10.0 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: Stuff is very helpful and friendly
Cons: Access road is problematic. The hotel is remote from everything. Bathroom is very basic.
7.5 Good
Pros: value for money
Cons: too few choices breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We went to Bago to see the 9+ famous Buddhist temples, etc. The hotel provided a tut-tut and driver for a four-hour visit to all of these places. The driver knew his way around and took us to each with ease. We are slow observers so we extneded for an hour to five hours and still didn't have quite enough time. The hotel has an on-site restaurant which as serves the included-breakfast. Breakfast is good and so were the two additional meals we had at the restaurant. Rooms are in separate buildings of 2-4 rooms each building. They are spacious. Ours came with a gecko. They are building a swimming pool and we were told rates would not go up when the pool opens next year.
Cons: This is not the hotels fault or responsibility: the streets around the hotel have so many pot holes it is truly jarring to get to the hotel. At our arrival we were picked up at the highway bus station and the 2km+ ride to the hotel was bone jarring. The tour of temple sites started and ended with rough rides. In-between, ie going from temple to temple was much better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The sraff is very helpful. You can organize all the trips at the reception which was great and saved our time! The resturant is good and you can taste a lical breakfast. Definitely reccommended!
Cons: Just the air condition is not that effective - can be renewed. And be careful about the money you bring - they are so sentivite on every damage or hand writing on US dolars.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Free pick up from train station , the lady who works reception SUPER helpful and friendly spoke great English Helped with scooter rental and maps etc Great pool Nice breakfast place and good restaurant in evening Will stay again
Cons: There is some construction work nearby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location for our purpose, which was to visit Bago. Very friendly staff. Excellent amenities - especially our bathroom, the hotel swimming pool, the bar and the restaurant.
Cons: Nothing wrong.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds. Friendly staff Inviting pool
Cons: There was not enough time to spend in the pool Proper tea instead of 3in1 would be good.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were large individual chalets perfect for families. The breakfast was noodles rice and eggs with fresh seasonal fruit, it was very tasty, I had not expected it to be as good. The hotel has well kept bird aviaries with peacocks, parrots and golden pheasants that our kids loved. We booked the family room and put 5 of us in it, it was very comfy. We brought our own travel cot for the baby and were charged nothing for the extra bed which both the 5 and 7 year old slept in together.
Cons: The only negative was that the fridge didn’t work.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bungalows are huge and comfortable. Swimming pool is lovely. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Nice and quiet position, quite far from the town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very good. The staff and the cleanliness was excellent. Only one thing is there are no many options for vegetarian food. But they have prepared vegetarian food specially for me. It would be good if they prepare Indian vegetarian food also. But overall the hotel was good.
Cons: There were more food options for non vegetarians.

Pros: Clean and comfortabel rooms. Very early check in (5am) was no problem. No extra costs charged! Public pick-up trucks to the city centre are frequent and not expensive.
Cons: BE CAREFUL!!! It’s not clear if the man works for the hotel, but he was at the reception and sold us bus tickets to the golden rock for double the price (we found out later). In all other places in Myanmar we could book bustickets at the hotel reception without any problem. But not in this hotel!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: very comfy, big and clean room and bathroom. breakfast in the room was ok.
Cons: location was not really good, however easy to reach by taxi or public taxi (on the main road, easy to get there from the bus station)
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice surroundings. Nice staff but office staff- female- not so good English.
Cons: Internet, slow or nonexistent.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpfull
Cons: Very far from center but easy to reach by tuktuk
7.0 Good
Pros: They let people do an early check-in with no extra charge and offer free breakfast. Nice restaurant with fresh food. Beds are comfortable. AC worked well.
Cons: Strange smell in the some room, not all. Far from downtown.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and spacious, good hot water shower, held our bags on check out day until we were ready to go. Was fine for us for 2 nights.
Cons: Be aware the address on is incorrect! We got dropped off at the wrong place due to this and luckily found some friendly locals to help us out otherwise we would have had a bit of a walk with our bags. Located really far out of bago, easy to get a ride into town as the university isn't far down the road so many students coming and going therefore cheap tuk tuks (about 200 MMK per person) but getting back to the hotel in the evening was a challenge! Was hard to find anyone willing to go out that way and when we finally did he charged us 3000 MMK (reasonable for him as he had to leave town and go much further than he usually would and really, only $3 but worth noting). Staff, although very friendly, didn't speak any english so very hard to communicate and ask for things. Also be prepared the the breakfast is luke warm noodles and fruit, not bad but not great. Also make sure you put your breakfast plates outside (breakfast is delivered to the room) when you are done as apparently they don't have a key to the room so our half eaten food sat in the warm room all day while we were out.
6.8 Good
Pros: Cool and silent
Cons: Language issue
7.5 Good
Pros: Good rooms, very clean
Cons: It is located quite far away from the city center, staff could not speak English
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bath room. Room size. Staff.
Cons: Drinking water.
6.8 Good
Pros: clean, new and comfortable room and bathroom. decent working aircon. okay food from the hotel restaurant
Cons: woman behind the counter barely speaks english and is only prepared to do the strict minimum. also lots of miscommunications. hotel scooter rental came up with a story saying we need a private driver and it would cost us more etc.. location far from center. wifi super bad. noisy. was charged 500 MMK too much for the room because of old currency rate they used and not possible to pay in USD even though usd price was mentioned on booking confirmation
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Moe Yun Gyi Wetlands Resort in Bago, you'll be 20.4 mi (32.9 km) from Kanbawzathadi Palace and 21.5 mi (34.6 km) from Four Figures Paya. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: Moe Yun Gyi is quiet (during the day...) and remote. I loved being in a beautiful setting away from big commercial hotels and the city. This is truly a wonderful place to birdwatch. There is only one restaurant and you'd have to leave the reserve to get anywhere else, other options are few. However, the food was excellent and service was great. The boat tour is absolutely stunning.
Cons: Breakfast was pretty dire and unfortunately, there was some kind of festival going on nearby so we could hear heavy bass into the early hours of the morning. It's far too expensive for what it is. Though I enjoyed my short stay here, I probably wouldn't come back. I would suggest adjusting the room prices to make it more affordable and therefore much more appealing for a weekend break from Yangon.
7.5 Good
Pros: A nice escape into nature which can be done as an easy weekend trip from Yangon. We stayed in the family room which was very big and charming and overlooks the water. The boat trip was a nice opportunity to see lots of birds and water buffalo in a beautiful setting.
Cons: The place is pretty overpriced for what you get. The facilities are totally fine but basic. The price just doesn’t match up to what you get. However, if you’re aware of that before hand and don’t expect too much you can have a very nice relaxing weekend here.
7.5 Good
Pros: Looking out over the water just before dawn and supping a cup of tea on the deck of our boat house as the sun came up!
Cons: No easy ways to see the wildlife (birds) except by the one approach of taking a noisy boat trip; Would have liked more footpath options and hiring boats that could be paddled.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location Next to the nature reserve. Nice fieldtrips with a guide (boat/walk).
Cons: Bathroom: e.g. drainage at the other end from the shower. No mirror. Payments in cash.
Jade Garden Hotel - Bago - Building
6.6 Good (63 reviews)
Overview Reviews

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic and really friendly. Our bus was delayed and we were allowed to relax in a room for a few hours and take a shower if needed, no charge.
Cons: The head man/ manager who organises the tour and buses ripped us off. He sold us a bus ticket run by his friends and it didn't bring us the whole way to our next destination. We were just charged more money as we went along. He also seemed to know exactly where we were at all times.
6.8 Good
Pros: There isn't much choice of budget accommodation in Bago but we had no problems here. Older style room but everything worked and we saw no insects. Price completely reasonable.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean but basic rooms. We were met from our bus and walked the short distance to the hotel-our bags were taken to the hotel on a bike. We booked a day tour via the man who met us at the bus-the tour was great and we made many stops throughout the day. He also helped us book onward travel. Onsite restaurant was good.
Cons: Not really close to any restaurants. Rooms are quite dated but clean.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Bad Service of restaurant workers who were sleepy and never wake straight to time that customers have date
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I mailed him about my arrival and bus details. A person was at the bus stop waiting for me and took to Jade Garden. Night and good Aircon room, 24 hour hot water, friz, good WiFi inside the room, good breakfast. And the person Ali who received me showed Bago on his bike for a good reasonable price and he speaks English. He also helped me to book a luxury bus to Naypyitaw. Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a lovely big room, fully air-conditioned with large and clean bathroom and a good restaurant which is important because the hotel is some way from the town centre. Manageress really helpful in arranging moto-taxi transport around the area at very cheap rates
Cons: Nothing ! But just bear in mind that the location is not within walking distance of either the town centre or any of the main tourist sites. However, manageress was really helpful in arranging motorbike taxis to take me around.
