10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location. Self contained room was very cosy with everything provided. The all important bed was very comfortable and warm. Breakfast consisted of a great many choices (Croissants, toast, eggs, good coffee, real milk, fruit, yogurt, etc etc,) B&B hosts, Andrea & Keith were very friendly and thoughtful putting on the heater on one of the days of our stay which had been freezing. Would highly recommend this B&B.
Cons: Raw sugar would have been better than white sugar but that is just our personal choice.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Historical home whose history was well documented. I enjoyed reading about it. My room was filled with very interesting antiques and I truly loved looking at everything. Both of the owners are well versed in the care and feeding of guests. I was made to feel welcomed, and after a hard days drive, a little TLC was exactly what I needed. That is the first time anyone has ever carried my luggage! Thank you Keith! Andrea sized me up quickly, realized how little time I had, and pointed me to the perfect places to visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Andrea and Keith were care-full and friendly hosts. The apartment is tastefully decorated. Much thought has gone into providing what guests will need.

Pros: Good selection of DVD's . Good Indoor and outdoor games
Cons: The pool wasn't heated. There wasn't enough heating in the rooms. There wasn't enough kids bikes.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet and just a beautiful place to lay back and forget about the busy life in the suburbs. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet time and the activities offered at place. The beds were good and kitchen well equipped. The place was clean enough .The fireplace was amazing and we just enjoyed it so much with my family. The hostess Lindy was so sweet - nothing was too hard for her. We left our jacket and they found it and offered to send it to us. Beautiful place far away from the busy life - so much nature to immerse in. We loved it .
Cons: The rooms were a bit outdated - a more modern look would be even better but it didn’t bother us much at all. It’s clean enough but I would say not sparkling clean but again I’m a bit paedantic so I wouldn’t worry much about it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. The room and amenities were very good and the bathroom was excellent.
Cons: We were surprised to see the small reception area included a set up for looking after a toddler, toys, playmat etc, and the child being fed lunch as we checked in. For the top hotel in the area this was an unexpected first impression of the property. That said, it didn't detract from the comfort of our stay, and given Bairnsdale is a country town perhaps this is acceptable away from the city hotels. Having stayed at the original Mercure when it first opened it just surprised us to see this in the best hotel in the town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The man at reception was absolutely lovely! Our room was very clean with a modern feel. Definite value for money.

Bairnsdale Main Motel - Bairnsdale - Bedroom

7.0 Good
Cons: They don’t have any ammenities in the room besides a kettle They forgot to advise that the room I booked for my parents had breakfast include on their check in So they cooked their toast in an electric frying pan they bought with them
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Decent sized main room and bathroom. Room had a microwave, split system heating/cooling, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster. Bed comfortable. Room overall was clean upon arrival. Designated parking directly out the front of each room. Good value for the price. Would stay again if in the area.
Cons: We stayed for 3 nights and the room was only serviced when I asked. Could do with some bench space for breakfast prep. Lack of toiletries supplied, but to be expected given the price. There was some traffic noise, but this appeared to die down by about 10.30pm. Would expect this from most motels in the area though.
6.8 Good
Pros: Close to the main town and things you need. The room had everything we needed for the night. Staff were okay to talk to on the phone, there wasn’t anyone physically there. We were only there to change and sleep anyway, so the room was perfect for that. The heater worked great and the TV had good channels to watch.
Cons: It says free Wi-Fi but you can only use 500mb a day, which is absolutely nothing, lucky we have our own internet to use. The duvet had stains over it. The beds were really springy/lumpy and quite uncomfortable.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The mattress was firm
Cons: We didn’t see any staff. A note was left on the office door when we arrived, with our room number. Not enough toilet paper to last the two days we stayed. I was hoping for cheap and cheerful but only got the cheap.

Pros: Basic, budget and tidy
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Although the motel has some age on it, we felt it was just what we required. Very clean and tidy. Great seeing water in fridge where most motels just have a empty container.
Cons: Traffic a little noisy, especially a few trucks during night
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We were looking for clean and affordable accommodation and this fit the bill perfectly.

Cons: There was nothing not to like, had such an amazing night

Pros: The room was a nice size with a comfy bed. It was clean and cozy. It was great to have undercover parking. Really enjoyed the stay and would stay there again.
Cons: There was a bit of noise from the air conditioner (for the venue) that was outside the window. Not much that can be done about it but some thing to be aware about. As mentioned in other posts, the stairs would be a problem for those who have difficulty but didn't worry me.
