10.0 Excellent
Pros: Linda was an excellent host. She is knowledgeable and helpful with information about the area, including watching the ferry lineups on webcams to keep us informed. The room was lovely and very comfortable including lots of amenities and personal touches. We had access right from our room, to a large deck that overlooks forest and lake. We spent a lovely afternoon out there. She’s a great cook and the breakfasts were awesome - you won’t need lunch!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Linda was an awesome host and her breakfasts were wonderful. The whole experience was positive.
Cons: Nothing, it was all great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful sound of the creek, view of the lake, loved sitting out on the deck. The breakfasts were so good, loved the baked eggs especially. And found a common interest with Linda the owner, a fellow watercolorist! Her lovely paintings adorn the house, as well as works by friends of hers. It’s always nice to go to a B&B and have good conversations with the owner. Her suggestions for things to do, including the salmon spawning exhibit, and the town beach, were excellent. We really relaxed and enjoyed our time there.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding accommodations nestled in a wonderful mountain location. A true oasis of peace tranquility. Linda is a superb and gracious host.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Linda is an exceptional host! She takes care of your needs and makes everyone feels very welcomed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quiet area. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Linda is a very kind and welcoming host who does all she can to help her guests. Her B&B is conveniently located half way between Nelson and Balfour and is about 200m up a side road so there is no noise of traffic. We stayed 3 nights, as the Nelson area has much to offer visitors. The town is interesting and unlike so many towns it has good restaurants and there are still plenty of people downtown in the evenings. Linda gave us excellent but quite different food for breakfast each morning.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is beautiful with a Creek right off the private deck. The food not only looked delicious but tasted delicious as well.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Restaurant
5.8 Okay
Pros: The view of the lake was nice
Cons: The place is complexity dated and is in dire need of remodelling. Calling this a resort is crazy, it’s a older motel in need of some serious remodelling. In our two room “suite” we rented for the night, room 101, the entire place needs to be updated. I’m pretty sure nothing has been done to update anything here since the place was built, many many years ago.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: TV poor
5.8 Okay
Pros: We had the 2 bedroom suite which had a great view and a comfortable living room and beds, the unit was clean and the staff were very friendly. It was as shown on the website. It does appear to be closer to the water than it is from the photos. it is dog friendly which is great.
Cons: I picked this hotel because it was dog friendly, and it had a full kitchen with an oven. I emailed a few times to confirm I could bring the dog and didn't get a response, however he was accepted at $15 per day, which I was expecting. The oven didn't work, or the hood fan and the stove was unpredictable with flares of heat that would set off the smoke detector constantly. As it was a long weekend they couldn't get out a service technician so I was given access to another unit to use the small oven, but it was very inconvenient. The kitchen is minimally equipped (no cookie sheet or bakeware at all, limited kitchen utensils). We were on the bottom unit and had a family with small children above us which were very noisy, from just average use. I was also disappointed that when renting a 2 bed room suite there was a charge of $10 each per night for my 2 kids - I have never had to pay for my kids before who are both under 12 and I felt this charge should have been included in the nightly rate as it is a 2 bedroom unit. When I first booked the rates on the website were noted as $10 cheaper per night and when I emailed to ask about that, I didn't get a response but the price on the website changed shortly after. Meimei is very friendly and accommodating but I don't think we would go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean. Lovely and welcoming owner.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great; breakfast was good.
Cons: The motel looks somewhat worn out. It is clear that the owners are working hard on rehabbing it, and progress is showing, but in some areas it is still under par. In particular the outdoor carpets on the upstairs walkways are in a miserable shape and give a terrible impression even before one reaches one's room. The room, on the other hand was OK.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The on-site restaurant was excellent
Cons: Rooms were a little outdated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff was extra friendly and knowledgeable. The Restaurant was a bonus and a delight! Beach across the street!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: everything was excelente ,beautiful ,very peaceful the staff was very helpful and WE LOVE THE ANTIQUE LOOK inside, beautiful garden ,too bad was for such short time.Thank you for the great breakfast
Cons: the fact that we had no idea that we had to catch the ferry ,35 min one way and another 5m to get to the place we were glad the ferry was free its a bit too far from Ainsworth but experience was great
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location and historic nature. It was exceptionally clean and the staff was great
Cons: It was a hot day and the room was very hot. So we had to open the windows because there was no ac. But no screens so had to fight mosquitoes.
