great location, beautiful and spacious rooms, friendly staff, couldn't have asked for anything more.
Big room, god breakfast, informative and helpful hosts The water went off gfr a few hours
My wife and I loved Cappabhaile House and would highly recommend it. We'll be back again next year without doubt. The staff were polite and very helpful and we loved the location. 10 out of 10.
Really warm welcome from lovely hosts, large, comfortable room, perfect peace and quiet, free wifi and a great shower. One of the best Irish breakfasts to be found - a really good menu, which we chose in advance and which was served early at our request. Too much to eat - no bother, the hostess immediately offered to wrap it up so that we could enjoy a cold snack on our off-road fund-raising adventure. Apologies from the youngest member of the party who promptly left it in the room ....! This is a lovely place to stay and we highly recommend it.
Everything was wonderful. The beach, mountains, nature, country were all within driving distance. The room was huge and very nice and comfy. The staff was excellent and helpful. In the common areas, there was lots of couches, a pool table, a laptop with free internet, and dining area.
The owners are wonderful. The room was spacious and clean, the common area was comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent.
Excellent welcome and warm feelings. Breakfast is magnificent and you are made to feel as one of the family None
Extremly helpful innkeeper, helped to book next night's stay with another hotel and directions, as well as dinner plans.
We found the staff to be very helpful (and they gave good directions to nearby sites). Our room was very spacious and had lovely furnishings. Breakfast in the dining area was plentiful and tasty. Internet accessibility was a plus. Although there was an electric hot pot for tea and coffee, there was no really convenient place to plug it in.
The room was large and comfortable, the heat worked, and the views outside the room were delightful. The breakfast was hearty and good. Would recommend.
I loved my stay in the Clayton was a great experience the comfort and cleanliness of the Hotel was perfect the staff, food and room was great.
We stayed 2 days during which there were 2 weddings and even though the staff were very busy, the standard of service, food etc was excellent. The friendly staff, food and service etc.
Rooms were ready earlier than expected, the hotel was very clean and rooms were nice and spacious
The hotel is really cool, relaxing and the food was lovely. It's so modern and comfortable. I liked everything!
no spa far from town room smallish and very warm small bed
Dirty grounds around the exterior, dirty rooms not fully cleaned, drawer handles full of body hair, body fluids on curtains, bery bland interior very basic fittings in room, budget soaps, not a hint of luxury anywhere, should be rerated to 3 star.
The hotel was very nice and modern on the inside and we were so pleased to find such accommodating staff. We arrived quite late that night and were very tired from 12 hours of driving. The young lady working check in was so kind and she upgraded us to the bridal suite for free!! It was amazing! High tech, comfortable bed tons of windows for views. We loved it. Such a nice gesture and there was not need for them to do that. Nothing.
Great athmosphere during race week. Excellent entertainment, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. I didnt like the fact that the restaurant prices were increased during race week. Already paying inflated price to stay there so I thought this was a bit much.
the staff were very friendly, would absolutely recommend the hotel, it is a bit out from city, we didnt mind, got a taxi in to go out costs about 15euro
The hotel was very relaxing and staff were brilliant was very clean and an excellant place to stay for a weekend visit to galway
It was modern. On the first night there was a function on which kept us awake until 2.30am!!!!! We could hear all the music. After complaining 3 times, we had to change rooms!!!!!
The bed was very comfortable and relaxing and the bathroom looked great. All good. Breakfast.
We stayed in this Hotel during race week. The price of the hotel was very expensive, breakfast was poor, room very warm, even with window open.
Loved the food and the entertainment. Staff very friendly. The floorboards in the corridor upstairs creaked terribly. Lights in the room too dim for reading.
Enjoyed the comfort of the room and the excellent leisure centre
No room service?
bedrooms in blocks away from the main reception area / bar / leisure centre. would note that if you were staying with a young family and wished to make good use of the leisure centre you should request that you stay in block D
Very nice and clean hotel No
Location 5 min drive from city centre great bar with music. Big pool and 24 hour gym Toooo many kids in the pool and the steam room was down which cant be helped from time to time i guess.
Staff were courteous and helpful making the whole stay very enjoyable.
I liked the staff, they were very friendly. The location is good. It would be even better if the hotel provided shuttle buses into Eyre square every half hour or so. The hotel bedroom was sizzling hot and we couldn't lower the heat. The layout of the bedrooms is really confusing. I got lost twice trying to find my room because of lifts taking you to different 3rd floors with different room number sequences.
Central to most facilities Water was not to hot in the showers
A very comfortable stay with spacious rooms and a lovely bathroom (shower was wonderful etc.) Very helpful at breakfast. No hassle stay. Sometimes slowness at reception due to lack of staff, but not really that much of a problem.
The room we stayed in was extremley cold and when we complained to the staff we were given a small blow heater. They offered to move us the next day but not straight away. As we were only staying 3 nights we didn't want the hassel of moving after. I would have expected a hotel of this standard to at least be warm.
Rooms are v.good, I really like the 2 double beds per twin room. Fridge, safe, gym, internet, air con, commercial quality furnishings and fittings, all you could want, I dislike shower curtains. A glass panel is more hygienic and comfortable to use, also more "4 star". V. minor gripe, no drinking glasses (other than bathroom toothbrush type) though room had a wine cooler and Ice machine outside.
The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel bar had great music and a really good atmosphere. The bedroom was way too hot. The heat was very uncomfortavle at night and the room was hard to sleep in because of it.
Good value, good facilities, comfortable beds. Long complicated check in process which took over 1 hour in total. Very poor standard of dinner included in the weekend package.
Food in the restaurant was excellent we booked a deluxe double room and our room had two double beds in it, very little space in the room and I would not describe it as deluxe
All members of staff very friendly . fantastic evening meal great service The outside of the building is not very attractive . eg petrol station
The Thermal suite was so relaxing - a real bonus as it was included in the price. The room was lovely, great breakfast and 10 min walk from the city. The shower in our room was not great.
The staff were very friendly and efficinent. Breakfast was great The room was very hot and stuffy. My husband got up at 7 to go down to reception to get some water.....our clocks were set for 10.30...weekend away. Just as we were leaving my husband spotted the temperature control. Also the room was very noisy being next to a busy road....windows left in lots of noise. Many times during the night I wished I had my ear plugs with me!!
Great location, parking. Front desk very helpfull. Bar was cold. No fire lighting with minus 7 outside.Bar staff could realise they work in the service industry also. No greeting, no thank you.
the staff were extremely helpful during our stay and organised a surprise birthday cake for my partner
friendly staff & cleanliness
High pressure shower. Breakfast was not of very high quality.
The staff friendliness, location of hotel is great Rooms were very hot, even though there was seven inches of snow outside we left the windows open all night and were still too warm.
the food and staff.
Comfort and cleanlieness
Large rooms The meals were not great
Friendly and helpful staff, would stay again.
Easy access from motorway The noise from corridor with people going to their room
A welcoming comfortably warm affordable hotel.Offering value for money. No plug in sink in the bathroom of my room, notified reception at checkout time.
the service and the luxury of the hotel
I liked the sense of luxury in a well-appointed hotel near city centre. Also enjoyed the piano bar !
Friendly staff, great facilities, well furnished rooms in a great location. No bar food available before 3pm in the bar. Had to go elsewhere to get bar food.
None At all times when walking down the corridors between the rooms there were black bags full of unwashed bedding. Even late at night. One evening we went to our room at 6 in the evening and it hadn't been cleaned. I saw a wall mains socket that had been pulled out of the wall in the corridor exposing mains electricity. Waitress staff late in coming with the coffee orders in the morning. Mains power cut when we were there not allowing a cooked breakfast in the morning. Why no back- up generator. Our room overlooked a housing estate and a small courtyard within the hotel complex that had astro-turf laid that was torn and shabby.
My stay was relaxing and was close to city centre
The hotel is beautifull and the room is very clean and comfortable, the bed and pillows are perfect!! The first dinner was excellent, the second was not so...but it happens! The internet is free, which is a good difference for us. The location is good, not at city center, but close enough to go walking. Our stay was very pleasant. I recommend the hotel. No complains.
The attentiveness of the staff, all requests were catered for without issue
Close proximity to city center. The lobby was clean and well-lighted. Reservation was for a king-bed, "bay view" room. The first room we were given had a view of the lobby, and was a handicap access room. We asked for a different room, and were given one with all of the windows painted over and no air-conditioning (the room details said it was air-conditioned). It was very hot in the room, and the window would only open about 6 inches. Not what I expect from Radisson...
Very comfortable and great location The lifts were being worked on and it disrupted the reception area greatly.
location, although only mins walk from the hustle and bustle of the city it is so relaxing,as if set on a country estate. upon arrival at the desk one member of staff just looked me up and down, then walked away as i was about to say hello while making eye contact,at this point a very helpfull guy with glasses welcomed us ,had a bit of a chat and booked us in,while sharing a joke with my son which made up for his senior member of staff.this is only a small matter in what was a perfect stay
it was a very relaxing hotel
The hotel is wonderfully located very close to the center of Galway and all activities. while being a 1-10 min walk from anything you could want, its also quiet. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. The beds were fairly uncomfortable, the amenities are not terrible new, but are current enough to satisfy and certainly high quality in galway.
Staff very friendly, professional and prompt in accommodating requests. Do Not Disturb sign and. Make Up Room sign practically identical. If one grabs Do Not Disturb sign at night one can easily grab wrong sign (as I did) and be awakened early by the maid thinking I wanted my room cleaned. Very aggravating!!
When we checked in we did not get the room we had requested. The check in agent was not willing to change our room. We had to get the manager to help us. He made the changes that were needed and we were very satisfied. After that the manager checked with us each day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. At the end of our 3 day stay the manager even got our car out of the garage. The garage that the hotel uses is just awful. very tight corners, and hard for out of town guests to maneuver. They should find another garage to use.
The hotel is well located, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff is very kind and the rooms are clean and affordable. no complaints
location room was very noisy, no breakfast included, had to pay for carpark, not good value for money
Location Room was very hot (it was the middle of Jan!!)
calm / kindness
The location is great, right in the city center and only 15 minute walk to the beach and it is a very clean and comfortable. Stayed here be fore and would stay here again the next time I stay in Galway.
The location was excellent. The bed was to small.
This was a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff was great & rooms were very clean & comfortable. We loved that you could walk to everything-restaurants & shops in one direction & just over the bridge the Salthill Promenade for a beautiful walk. We arrived on the weekend & it's kind of a party town on Fri & Sat. We loved it but when return I think we'll come Sunday thru Thursday.
Nothing Room, Bathroom facilities, lack of heating
convenience, cleanliness and efficiency. perfect location, great parking. Stayed here several times and cannot find any fault to report
my family and i love the eyre square hotel for its convenience friendlieness and comfort everything perfect
I have been before found it a good hotel
Ideal location. Very comfortable bed.
The receptionist on duty was particularly friendly More variety at breakfast would be nice
it's location was very convenient it did not have it's own car park
The staff were lovely. Room clean and comfortale On our first night we were in a room facing the main street. The noise was extremely bad and we got little or no sleep. We contacted the receptionist who advised that she woud relocate us to a quieter room the following morning which she did. That was perfect!
great value excellant service really enjoyed stay
it was very central to everything staff were brillant cannot fault it for a stag weekend I konow its the same in most hotels but breakfast was finished at 9 we were hardly in the bed
location and friendly staff
Beautiful décor, excellent location, fantastic breakfast. Close to parking as well. Walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers beware.
very easy to the town, right there. nice people, had a laugh or two. pubs are good, staff are friendly
The bedroom was lovely ! Yes - breakfast did not start until 8am - so this is not suitable for a business hotel. Would only recommend it for leisure
All the staff where very helpful to their guests in particular the bar staff. A elderly member of the public entered the reception area one day when the rain was very heavy and asked to use the hotels toilets. He was turned away saying there was public toilets on the promanade 200 yds away. He was less than 10 yds away from the toilet area. I believe the "Lady" that turned him away was wrong to do so.
The bar had delicous food. Location great next to the bay. Free parking. Restrictive Wi-Fi allowing only one device to be used at a time. I had to go and ask for another password for the 2nd device. Noisy parties in the lobby/bar/restaurant areas (in my opinion, large private parties should be in a separate area from the hotel guests). No chain on the door.
the bathroom was very clean and well designed. the room although not very spacious was very comfortable and TV etc was all convienant and user friendly. the staff on the desk in the leisure centre were particularly helpful, cheerful and informative. the breakfast was good but the small round table on the floor of the adjacent conference hall was too small for comfort and made for a poor ambiance in contrast to the other facilities in the hotel.
The room we got was not the room we booked, i booked a twin room and we got a double, this was not a problem as i was traveling with my daughter, The tables were not cleared for the people that came down for the later breakfasts on Monday. thought i will say they were very busy.
Great views, pleasant staff, fantastic food, room very comfortable, excellent leisure facilities Its a bit of a walk into town
The very good think was the breakfast! The staff was very unhelpful and impolite!
Generally it was a good experience, close enough to the city and Barna and countryside. Location on the promenade is perfect for walks.
The hotel was in a beautiful location & the staff were most helpful.
Everything! The food, the staff, the facilities it was all fantastic
the comfort of room.It was very quiet-no noise -room bright and airy-very clean no
The meal in the evening was fantastic. they were very obliging and freindly staff
Very warm, welcoming and helpful staff. Fantastic location, Great breakfast. We like this hotel very much and will definitely return there. We highly recommend it. Cleaner persisted in arriving to clean the rooms at 5pm each day, typically when we had just arrived back from active days out and wanted to relax. When we asked her to clean the rooms earlier, she said she couldn't speak English and was unable to understand the request - a clear lie as we heard her speaking English to her colleague later..
Lovely local irish staff! Excellent food. N/A
Quiet, Clean, well located No
Most staff members very friendly and helpful. TV reception very poor. We had to to go to other establishments to view European Cup and Wimbledon, which meant we ate out too. Other places have Sky, why can't Hylands? Otherwise, fine.
friendly staff, clean comfortable hotel, perfect location for exploring the Burren, Co. Clare by bike. Great food.
Friendly staff, beautiful location, good bar atmosphere and good company. Very good value with good breakfast. None
Best nite I had in a long time
It is a nice family hotel in a central location as a base to visit the Burren. The rooms are clean and the staff very friendly. For the money its good value, I would go back again.
The management and staff were very helpful.
The room was fabulous and extremely comfortable, apart from the cold See above
Nice room, nice bathroom Very friendly staff Excellent free wireless Internet connexion Not at walking distance from town centre There was a wedding reception on the night we staid at the hotel with lots of inconvenience
Nice hotel, comfortable bed and a good Irish Breakfast offered. Location was slightly further than I would have liked, but very acceptable. ~€8 in a taxi if needed.
The room was very clean and spacious. There is plenty of safe parking spaces available. The bar food was very disappointing. The dish I got was clearly reheated but was still cold.
We got upgraded to a kingsize suite for free.
great value room was a too warm
Welcoming staff and comfortable surroundings. Not Applicable.
Lovely room, nice staff
Very friendly and courteous staff at this family run hotel who even remembered my name and room number at check out
The hotel common areas are absolutely opulent-stunning drawing rooms and bar! My friend is still battling the hotel as they took the 240euro "holding" charge for room service off her credit card and still have not returned it.
The Staff were very friendly and courteous. The Room was comfortable, and relaxing. The Location is great.
the cupcakes were a lovely touch
Very proffessional and courteous staff, genuinely motivated to ensure that we got the most out of our stay. A refreshing experience.
Excellent service and very friendly staff. Wonderful Spa
Service and decor No
very nice staff, lovely hotel the price was a little much
The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing and service excellent Walk into town on cold wet day. Had to get taxis
Staff helpful and friendly
The suite was excellent and the lounge rooms were brilliant the fact that there was no swimming pool was a disappointment
silver service and beverages brought to the room. Also the view from our bedroom The rain!
friendly staff noisy: a wedding was happening in the hotel and we could hear the music late at night. The breackfast was not to a 5 stars hotel standard andlots of insects were flying around the ceiling lights...
The food was very good
Staff could not do enough for you.
Glenlo Abbey is top class in so many ways with the quality of the staff its best asset. The decor is so impressive too and the quality of the food couldn't be faulted.
The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food in the Pullman restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was also very nice. I wouldn't regard this as a 5 star hotel. To be honest I was disappointed when we got to our room. The decor in the room itself was lovely but the bathroom had tiles falling away from the bath and I though it was very basic bathroom you would find in any hotel. There were rips in the sheets on the bed. I just was expecting something extra special as it was our first stay in a 5 star hotel but apart from the attentive staff I found nothing to distinguish it from anywhere I've stayed in before.,
The staff was absolutely top-notch! Although we arrived late, they gave us 5-star service all the way! None.
The hotel management recognised the shortcomings about the hotel that I had brought to their attention and did not charge me for the dinner in the restaurant The quality of the room was not good and the bathroom in particular was very poor with broken and stained fittings. Dinner in the Pullman restaurant was also disappointing
A very friendly and helpful staff with very nice facilities and grounds. It had a rich, warm atmosphere. The Oriental Express restaurant was somewhat overpriced and lacking in quality.
General atmosphere of the old building, golf court / garden and lake, Pullman restaurant in waggons of the Oriental express, breakfast Lack of service (no concierge, no luggage carrier), rooms a bit antiquated with old bathroom facilities, Pullman restaurant is an experience but absolutely overpriced for the quality of the food
Room was clean and comfortable. Close to everything. Breakfast was great.
Really a small, clean, very well appointed and modern hotel right in the heart of a charming small town, a ten minute walk to the castle. Food was good. WiFi was free but slow. Otherwise was wonderful, probably the best value in our entire trip.
location, free parking cleanliness of room
Rooms spacious and very comfortable. Nothing
Lovely hotel and excellent location room a bit stuffy
Friendly staff, welcoming atmoshere, great location comfortable rooms. Took a while to work out how to turn off the air conditioning which was making the room cold.
Service and location Somethings need a renovation (doors, bath tube, windows...)
Location was great and all staff were very helpful For the price the full Irish breakfast was very basic.
First, after some confusion (our problem) finding the car park, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself was a wonderful surprise, a bit old world luxury, with lots of dark woods, polished brass, and oriental carpets. Room had all you would expect and more. Great breakfast as well.
Walked the area, toured
The professionalism and friendliness of the staff at all levels, from management through to porterage
Staff was wonderful and welcoming..room was comfortable..loved having a sofa..general feel of hotel was great..best location to train, bus and restaurants Old fashioned blow dryer
Staff and the attention to details, nothing escapes. Always on top of their game. Park House knows the definition of hospitality.
