9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host and staff. My room was lovely, quiet with a great view on a park/field with tens of rabbits and a fox. The furniture in my bedroom was old as in real old and stylish. The WIFI worked perfectly so I could work. The bed was very hard but to me that is a plus. I slept perfectly.
Cons: There is nothing I really disliked. The bathroom was small which could be a problem when the room is shared by 2 people. I was alone so it was perfectly adequat for me. The driveway is long and very bumpy which again wasn't a problem to me (it is also beautiful) but if your like your ride to be smooth and comfortable, this might bother you.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the friendliness of all staff. I liked views from our room. Breakfast was very good. House appears full of history and would like to more about it.
Cons: Bedside lights were really dreadful for reading. They were lovely to look at but even with main light on as well were still insufficient for reading. As one who reads a lot was annoying. Room smelt a bit musty throughout stay but appreciate old building. Think a rail in bath/shower might be idea
8.3 Excellent
Pros: If you are looking for quite place in nature this might be a good choice for you. Quite, on bank of river.
Cons: It's few kilometers outside of Macroom town, so if you want to walk around or go to pub look for accomodations in town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Coolcower House if like your home away from home. The staff are just amazing and are always there if you need them. We were made so welcome from the time we walked through the front door. I loved the old world charm and the view was magnificent. It was just what we needed. I would recommend Coolcower House to anyone and will go back when we travel Ireland again.
