i guess you pay what you get. therefore not too bad. but since this was my first trip to bkk I obviously expected more from a 3 star hotel. try the coffee club (corner ekamai/sukumvit, 5 minutes walk) they serve good coffee and western breakfast and speak well english.
room was functional. a/c worked well. seemed to be clean (for bkk conditions) location was good, city center can be reached by skytrain in 15 minutes. breakfast is basic but, toast and jam works.
staff does not speak any english at all, they cannot even answer a simple question. they serve hot water with pouder in it (nescafe) for breakfast and name it coffee. high noise level in the hallway at 6am when they start prepearing breakfast
Tiny room but efficient. OK if looking for basic room in good location. Very near BTS Sky train and 7/11 with everything needed. Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Nice location. Staff very helpful.
The staff were very helpful. The location was excellent, very near BTS skytrain.
The rooms have really beautiful formica doors and counter tops. The people who installed it didn't remove the protective plastic, so it's ripped in places and says 'Formica' in big letters. Looks really wierd and shabby. Walls need a paint job.
A stay at Nantra Ekamai places you in the heart of Bangkok, a 1-minute drive from Ekamai and 6 minutes from W District. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
