Located in Karlovo, 7 km from Sopot - Intermediate station, Family Hotel Pak Tam features a children's playground and views of the mountain. Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area for your convenience.
Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms, very reasonably able price.
Cons: Only one bathroom for four of us sharing this one bed room and living room unit.
Pros: Beautiful house of which the owner was very friendly. a lot of the (steel) attributes in the house were personally crafted by the owner, which gave the house a very personal touch. the house is very spacious, cooking facilities are great.
Cons: Water is (i think) warmed with a solar water heater. If all guests shower, there is a chance you will run out of hot water.
Pros: Amazing villa! The whole house is beautiful, the kitchen is very well equipped with large dining area, the living area is so cozy too. We traveled with my friends and are 100% coming back. Outside there’s a nice garden with barbecue.
Pros: The place is beautiful, very clean and feels cozy. The hosts is very nice and lovely. This place is really recommended
Cons: There were no curtains on the windows, so the sun got through in the early morning hours
Pros: Beautifully modernized country house with full grown cherry trees, lots of light, privacy, secluded at the end of the village road. However, the water stopped running around 10 am on the first of our two-day stay and never got back to full pressure, so no showers or drinking water (the well water that was pumped in was muddy). The owner refused to compensate for it in any way. The prices were quite high for a remote village in the mountains (we went because of the Rose festival). Overall, we liked the house, but water is a necessity and our stay would have been more pleasant if we were able to shower and flush.
Cons: Lack of running water. The owner switched to a generator, but the well water that was pumped in was all muddy). No ability to shower or flush....The owner refused to make up for it in any way, saying the rains affected the water pipes, and that was that. For the price we paid, we didn’t expect to have to do without basic necessities.
Pros: Incredible gem in beautiful location.
Cons: Everything was perfect; hard to find for taxi drivers not familiar with the area.
Pros: It’s a good expiriance place to stay In the country

Pros: Decent family-run hotel, just a little hard to find (the name sign has been removed at the street, the entrance is right of the building in the photo. )
Cons: Check-out was a little hard, as I couldn't find anyone at first. Karlovo is a little sleepy town, not exceptionally beautiful nor is there much to do.
Pros: We have been all over Bulgaria and these were the most comfortable beds and pillows out of every hotel!!
Cons: Could hear a bit of traffic.
Pros: Basic but clean, overall okay.
Cons: Noisy and some disgusting odour all over the place. Strange guests. No reception in a classic way you"d think.
Pros: Location, bathroom is good
Cons: Small room , no table

Pros: We were on a paragliding holiday and finding this place was a happy accident! The airy, spacious upstairs room with a balcony was an absolute gift. The area is quiet and a short walk takes you to the town centre and river walk. If you can get it take it!
Pros: Very large room. Bathroom also had a bidet. Very nice balcony. Good view of the Mountains.
Cons: Toilet flush not working properly and, when works, water flush is so strong that water comes out!

Pros: They allowed me to bring my staff earlier and pick it up a bit later after check out.
Cons: Could here my neighbors talking and the street noise. No ventilation in the bathroom.
Cons: They don't provide double beds as stated on their information. They offer single beds that they put together. Information is not correct, they should change this. In one of the room wasn't a fridge. For the price we paid we didn't get shampoo or soap as many other places in Bulgaria did with cheaper prices. Host should smile, won't hurt.
Pros: The room and the toilet are spacious and clean, and the room includes a closet, a tv and a refrigerator. The location is great. Good WiFi.
Pros: New, clean, spacious bathrooms, at the center of the town. The reception lad pick us up from the wrong location. There are two white houses.
Cons: The shower was mounted at 1.2 hihgt. Very uncomfortable when you are two meters.
Pros: Large and clean room. Owner is OK. House is near restaurants, ATMs and points of interest.
Cons: I am sensitive to noise and this place is all about that. Cars keep flowing till late in the night. Some pass by with loud music. Drunk people were shouting till 3 A.M. Also, the room gets very hot and windows cannot be completely open. Had to sleep with the AC on. There are windows up in the ceiling. If those could be easily opened, it would ventilate far more efficiently. I believe the place is very good during the winter. People who don't have this noise issue, might have a much better experience. PS: I was at 2nd floor. Lower levels might be less hot.
Pros: Great improvement since last visit, all spa was included in price , I was pleasantly surprised as that was my main issue last time
Cons: A better kitchen would really improve the stay , now it’s a bit simple but nothing to keep me away from going again:)
Pros: Good kitchen at the hotel. The cook is a master!
Cons: Better quality for the money. Inclusion of the bath facilities in the hotel price.
Pros: We found this place 3 years ago but spent just a day at the property back then. This time we went back to celebrate a birthday, names day and our anniversary all in one. We had also dinner and breakfast there. Everything was simply exceptional. The room was clean and cosy and the location was very peaceful and relaxing. The food was very tasty too and all the staff were so accommodating adjusting things to our taste and requirements. And the facilities are really wonderful - the mud pool, the jacuzzi and the swimming pool were all very clean with natural mineral water which is very healing indeed. It is a perfect place for relaxing and is our favourite so far. Gratitude to all who made our stay beautiful!

Pros: The reception staff was excellent, very helpful and positive, thank you Mrs. Stefka Tuzharova for that pleasant stay. Very pleasant stay, good Hotel location.
Cons: The "mattress"the room is not comfortable
Pros: We had comfortable studio and the location is perfect to observe the Bulagrian Rose Parade.
Cons: There was a loud party at the restaurant until 3 AM. We couldn't sleep and even calling the police didn't help. The manager returned us the money for the second night when we asked to leave.
Pros: hotel in a great place over looking the centre really enjoyed watching children playing, a great place. lots of lovely walks in the moutains and well marked, will be going back.

Pros: The restaurant and food are good. The garden is beautiful. The WiFi is ok.
Cons: The room was'n clean. The bathroom was dark, due to poor light. The indoor pool is very small and doesn't look like the one in the pictures. The outdoor pool was full with durty water and frogs. The hotel is noisy nightime, due to the heating system.
Pros: I liked the view of the mountains and the garden of the hotel.
Cons: Our room was right above the kitchen and there was this constant smell of fried things and this was quite a problem. Also the smell was all over the hotel, not only in our room. This was the biggest problem.
Pros: The property and the way the hotel is managed is excellent. From the gardener to the staff in the restaurant to the reception everyone was very professional, kind and helpful. The view of our room and the lush garden that surrounds the hotel were perfection. It is a perfect place for family with small children. Thank you !
Pros: The hotel is on an estate and is made into a little paradise. The food was really good.
Pros: The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden-very enjoyable for alfresco dining and drinks.
Cons: Property is out of town and quite difficult to locate.
