Pros. Had a great stay at the H10 Urquinaona plaza. The staff was very nice and accommodating, especially when it came to communicating in English. The hotel was clean and modern and comfortable. The location is great! Literally across the street from a metro stop and literally a block from the AeroBus stop at Catalunya Plaza. The breakfast was not included in my booking and might have been a little pricey, but it was very good and worth the price to me to start my day with a solid meal. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons. Just small quibbles - my double room was tiny (to be expected in Europe), but as a solo traveler, it was really all I needed. If you're traveling as a couple, I'd suggest a larger room. Also, I was in a room that overlooked the interior or the hotel. While the open atrium/lobby looks nice and lets in light, it also becomes a funnel for lobby/lounge noise and sends it upwards. However, it was never loud enough to prevent sleep. Also, because it's so close to the subway stop, you get some train noise and vibration, but it's mostly just like an occasional distant, rolling thunder; also not enough to prevent sleep.
