Overview
The Roundhouse is a one-of-a-kind experience in Beacon, New York. Formerly a factory complex built in the early 1800’s and now converted into a boutique hotel that overlooks a waterfall, rushing creek and busy street corner. This hotel isn’t just one building, but several historic buildings that have been completely restored their current state.
Guests can have a preference on the type of room they stay in as The Roundhouse offers five different guest rooms out of their twenty-three total to appease any preference or view. Two luxurious Penthouse Suites highlight any guest’s room choice. These suites boast an open concept idea along with a private deck that overlooks Beacon Falls and Fishkill Creek.
Unique room choices also exist by way of the one bedroom suite that is perched on the rapids of the Fishkill Creek. Roundhouse Deluxe Rooms with a View offer king or queen beds that also overlook the creek. Roundhouse Deluxe Rooms have a king bed and overlook East Main Street. Finally, the Mill Deluxe Guest Rooms are in the connected Mill building and have either a king bed or two queen beds with loft ceilings, original wood beams and oversized factory windows.
Named after it’s host, the Roundhouse Restaurant is as unique as the boutique hotel it is affiliated with. The menu boasts a specially prepared variety of snacks, appetizers, sandwiches, entrées and desserts. Guests might have a hard time focusing on what to order as floor-to-ceiling windows offer amazing views of the waterfall and creek.
