10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding with classic french cuisine. The room & baths were wonderfully designed. There are multiple places on the property to relax and unwind whether outdoors on the patio or yard or in a cozy den area. The host could not have been more accommodating. There are also beautiful original water color paintings throughout the house by an artist named Soizig that are available for purchase. Mont B&B was an unexpected highlight on our trip to France...
Cons: I wish my stay there could have been longer. There was nothing I did not like about this B&B...

Pros: Excellent owner/hosts, with lots of useful information, very helpful and willing to be adaptable. Beautiful rooms, large comfy beds and large en suite. Excellent location for Velo route and Le Mont St Michel. Relaxing gardens. Fab choice and beautifully presented buffet breakfast. Safe garage for bicycles. Perfect. Thank you.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host and hostess were very accommodating and friendly. My room had a nice view of the garden/patio and despite many people staying at the B&B, it was very quiet. It was an easy walk from the train station and many stores, especially the bakery. The breakfast was a lovely spread of breads, yogurt, fruits, cheeses, and the host graciously made a second individual pot of French press coffee for me! Très bien! The breakfast room/kitchen was bright and comfortable. A nice way to start the day. For a small fee they offer a ride to Mont Saint Michel which is nice if your schedule doesn’t match the bus schedule! One couple went at night to see the lights. Thanks for running after me at the train station when I forgot my phone charger!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was straight walk down the street to the Mont B& B from the train. The place is very beautifully decorated inside and the hosts are amazing. We had a good size room with king bed and private bath. The breakfast was the best we have had-fruit, coffee, yogurt, pastry, etc. The grounds were lovely as well. Would highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good English spoken so felt you could ask anything, very nice welcome in a lovely boutique B&B, lovely garden, beautiful artworks the décor is excellent and breakfast one of the best 'continentals' we have had. When passing this way again this is the only hotel to use (if you are lucky)
Cons: Nothing could have been better really, except parking a little tight, but in no way should it stop an excellent visit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a fantastic B and B - the hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful, and gracious, super positive people! It is a short walk to the Pontorson train station, which is also the departure point of a shuttle bus to Mont St. Michel (3 euros each way). The bus isn't very frequent as it operates in coordination with train arrivals - just to be forewarned. The room was very comfortable - great bed, great shower, all very clean and also quiet. The train line runs nearby, but there are so few trains that I never even heard one. They also serve a marvelous breakfast. This stay has been the highlight of my trip this year in France!
Cons: I can't think of anything - everything was great!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Veronique was an amazing hostess. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, providing us with a thorough orientation to the area and suggestions about how to make the most of our time there. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and homey. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner on our night there was a picnic on the building's grounds looking out over a beautiful meadow at Mt. Saint Michelle in the distance. Just beautiful. Great for our family of four.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hostess was very helpful with information about visiting Mont-St-Michel. The location was quiet but an easy walk to restaurants and transportation. The breakfast provided was a lovely buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Veronique was professional, attentive and friendly from the minute we went through the gate. The location is really good - very close to the shuttle bus taking people to the Mont-St-Michel, but without the hustle and bustle of people, which the other hotels close by seem to have. It's also an easy, flat walk (about 2.5 kms but easy to do) if you decide you want to walk. Veronique is obviously passionate about her business and provides great information about the Mont eg best times and places to eat. The breakfast she provides is an extensive (and lovingly prepared) contintenal breakfasts. If we returned to the Mont, she'd be the place we'd choose to stay.
Cons: Not a dislike, but our GPS had difficulty finding the location - persist though, it's well worth it!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location could hardly be better for visiting Mont St Michel. Plentiful, spacious on-site parking and a short walk to the free shuttle buses. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The host, Veronique, was absolutely superb in all respects. The quality of the breakfast was excellent with fresh produce and home made cake. There was also a tea/coffee making facility available all day in the breakfast room.
Cons: The choice of cereal at breakfast was a little unimaginative with only corn flakes or what looked like Coco Pops for children. There was no muesli or granola style available and, surprisingly for France, only one type of bread and no croissants!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our hostess was friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. The accommodations were lovely. The breakfast was good value and well done. The location was superb
Cons: N/A
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfull view to Mont Saint Michel from the garden, one can get there by foot. Veronique is a great host, good breakfast, clean.
Cons: Maybe a refrigerator for guests, even we could let something in the kitchen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Veronique. The location. The comfortable room.
Cons: Nothing! Veronique provides a comfortable and charming environment.

Pros: We had a vacation with our 1 year old baby. It was so nice to be in this beautiful house with a big garden for her. The owners were very friendly. She knows a lot of good places to be and makes her own marmelade, jummie! The place is very clean and the location is perfect; nature and nice places in the area. We had a wonderful vacation!

Pros: A lovely size room with everything we could need. The bed was very comfortable although rather low if you are older! Delphine and her husband were perfect hosts and extremely helpful at all times. Just a perfect experience.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Pros: The owner was a very kind and friendly person. She welcomed us and even took the time to recommend places to visit in the area and restaurants. The room and beds were decorated nicely and very comfortable. The breakfast was great with homemade jams. Not far from Mont Saint-Michel.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like.

Pros: excellent place for your family, lovely breakfast, charmfull and very helpfull owner, cheers!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delphine was extremely welcoming and full of handy tips for visiting the area. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated and opened onto a sunny garden. Powerful shower. Very quiet, despite being near a main road. Private off street parking free of charge. Would not hesitate to recommend this place.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was in a beautiful state, the gardens well kept, the rooms is good shape, very clean communal area. The owners are very lovely people, contradicting the rumour that french aren’t kind. They take real good of their guests. The distance from Mont saint Michel is about 50min walk or 15-20mins on a bicycle. I wouldn’t count on a bus. The continental breakfast included croissant, bread, butter, juice, coffee and the most important of all home made black currant jam!
Cons: I wasn’t exactly sure of the distance to the tourist attraction, but the choice of bicycle hire from the property is an excellent choice!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delphine was an amazing host. She was so helpful in recommending places to visit and sites to see. Situated not far from Mont St Michel. The breakfast and home made jam were superb!!! Also bikes available to hire to see the countryside!!! Highly recommended
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close proximity to Mont St. Michel. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Comfortable, updated room with personal touches (carved out Mont St. Michel artwork on the wall).
Cons: The breakfast was delicious, however it was only bread and jam. We have grown accustom to a variety of breakfast items being offered when traveling in Europe, especially when it is an additional charge. With that being said, we did ask for an egg and ham for our youngest child and Delphine happily brought it out.

Pros: Great host, good breakfast, very good location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is in a pretty and quiet setting. Upon arrival, It reminded me of a B&B. The breakfast had many more choices than we had expected: several types of dry cereal, boiled eggs, ham, croissants, other sweet breads and juice, coffee and tea and other things. Everything was immaculate. It was the perfect place for us to stop for one night on our way from Mont Saint Michelle to Paris.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess (Marianne) is exceptionally welcoming and was very helpful and friendly throughout my short stay (2 nights). It was a pleasure to have breakfast with other guests (optional) and the hostess and the location is ideal for visiting Mont St. Michel, the Normandy coast and even into Brittany. Good restaurants are 2km up the road.

Auberge Du Terroir - Servon - Building

9.3 Excellent (143 reviews)
Overview Reviews
This hotel is located in the countryside village of Servon, 8 km from the Mont Saint-Michel. Set in a 18th-century house, it offers a large garden and charming rooms with TV. The Auberge Du Terroir’s restaurant provides daily breakfast and gastronomic cuisine prepared with local products from Normandy. Meals are served in the cosy dining room with fireplace. Free Wi-Fi access and free private parking are available on site. Hotel Du Terroir is just 11 km from Pontorson Station, 53 km from Saint-Malo and 70 km from Rennes.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Charming B&B very near Mont Saint Michel. We ate a wonderful dinner and breakfast while there. Great wine and cheese also. The village is small and quaint. The grounds are just as pictured on the site - actually more beautiful in person. Room and bathroom were large - by American standards. Perfect place to rest and recharge.
Cons: Our bed was a little old and lumpy - but we both agreed it felt like we were sleeping at our grandmothers house so we were fine with it..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was devine, service was excellent, room was impeccable.
Cons: No English TV Channel but no big deal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a delicious meal and a very comfortable stay
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful peaceful escape from nearby touristy attraction Mont Saint Michel, it was like taking a breath of fresh air as soon as we arrived. The dining room was perfectly French and we enjoyed a simple, fresh and delicious meal. The salad had been freshly picked from the owners kitchen garden, everything felt local, seasonal and thoughtfully prepared. The perfect stop over whilst driving through Normandy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I arrived expecting a road-side auberge off the N175, but found a delightful secluded [but only half a kilometre from the main road] oasis with buildings around a courtyard and private car park. The restaurant and some rooms are in one building and more rooms and a sitting room in another, only 50m apart. Parking is very private and safe. Annie checked us in and was most helpful. She easily filled in for my poor French with her OK English. We had booked dinner, which is essential as the restaurant is very small. Two couples were turned away when we were there. The food was very good as befits a ‘bib gourmand’ Michelin restaurant. Wonderful butter, superb camembert, local calvados. The service seemed slow to our city ways but we soon realised it was steady, and everything came eventually in good time. The whole place is very French, tout confort, in a traditional style, and perfect for being so [though wifi is included]. Clean, fresh and airy with lovely gardens to the rear. This was the perfect stop after 2 hours drive from Cherbourg, and would work just as well going the other way. Convenient for Le Mont St Michel. Highly recommended. Tres calme, tres tranquille. High quality continental breakfast too.
Cons: Everything was fine for the price point - it was excellent value. It is traditionally French, and I stayed at similar places in the 1970s. Apart from wifi, and the fact that bidets seem to have disappeared, nothing much has changed. Which is fine by me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The dinner at the restaurant was marvelous! And the rooms were cozy and all around wonderful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant and efficient owners of a lovely restaurant and small hotel in a quiet village in the Mont St. Michel area.
Cons: Nothing. All was as expected.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place is really nice. The staff was amazing. It's really clean and quiet. They have private parking and a beautiful garden where you can relax. Definitely would reccomend a stay here if you like tranquility. The breakfast was ok. Dinner was really nice and the wine amazing.
Cons: The bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We booked the Auberge for the last night of our holiday in Brittany and Normandy, based on the excellent ratings. We arrived mid-afternoon on a very hot day. Madame (Annie) greeted us and let us choose our room. Once settled in, we sat outside and her husband Thierry brought us ice-cold cider - wonderful. The dinner we had was exceptional - we both selected the 44 Euro menu, which was foie gras, fillet of beef, cheese selection and delicious dessert. It was preceded with an amuse bouche with a Kir and cider cocktail and Annie chose the wine for the main meal for us at our request. My husband had a different starter of finely sliced Parma-Style ham with salad and apples. Everything was divine - best fillet steak ever. The ambience of the property and the beautiful restaurant (which only holds about 20 max) was wonderful. The gardens are exquisite and maintained by Annie. The rooms are cool and spacious with comfortable beds.
Cons: There was liquid soap and shampoo, but no body wash - nothing we couldn't get round. Also the breakfast was a little boring - coffee (excellent), juice, baguettes and croissants and conserves. However, when I asked for cheese, it was kindly provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic evening meal in a wonderful french country house atmosphere. Homely and welcoming and away and a complete contrast to the hectic atmosphere at Mt St Michel.
Cons: None

Pros: An excellent stay at this BnB. The room was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the wifi was decent. Breakfast was good as well. Excellent location for seeing Mont St. Michel but also for seeing some of the areas a little further west. The owner doesn't speak any English but it's still workable for us (it may not be for some.) There are cooking options with a good variety of pans and utensils. We purchased food that we kept in the communal fridge and that worked well for lunch on the road. Easy to find, easy parking which is well appreciated after some of the areas we've been! We didn't need heat while we were there but if you're there on the edges of the season (April/May or October) and the weather is bad you may want to confirm that they have it turned on (we found a number of places turn it off in April and back on in October no matter what the actual weather is so you can't assume.)
