Opt for a Room with a View
Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the fountain comes highly recommended.
Consider Noise Levels
Some guests noted that the rooms facing the street can be noisy due to traffic, so if you're sensitive to noise, consider requesting a room away from the main road.
Check for Lift Availability
The availability of the lift has been inconsistent, so if mobility is a concern, it's advisable to check the status of the lift before booking, especially for higher floor rooms.
Be Aware of Parking Limitations
Several guests highlighted the limited parking options, with some mentioning the absence of an on-site car park. It's recommended to research nearby parking facilities in advance.
Take Advantage of the Central Location
The hotel's central location was praised by many guests for its convenience, allowing easy access to the town center and various attractions within walking distance.
Consider Room Temperature
Some guests found the rooms to be too warm, even with the windows open, while others found the air conditioning to be effective. It's advisable to inquire about room temperature control options based on personal preferences.
Explore Nearby Dining Options
While the hotel offers dining facilities, guests also appreciated the proximity to a range of dining options in the surrounding area, providing flexibility for meals outside the hotel.
Inquire About Room Layout
Guests staying in rooms with sloping ceilings mentioned that it made the space feel smaller. If this is a concern, it's recommended to inquire about the room layout before booking.
Plan for Check-in Convenience
As the reception is located on the first floor, guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns may want to consider this when planning their arrival and departure.
Consider Alternative Parking Solutions
Due to potential challenges with nearby parking, guests may want to explore alternative parking solutions, such as negotiating a drop-off space with the hotel management.
