Pros:The Four Seasons has an old world charm and atmosphere. The decor is perfect and excellent for the family...my kids and I played Monopoly by the fireplace. VERY COMFORTABLE!!! The staff was very friendly and helpfu. I highly recommend !!!
Cons:The carpets are a bit dated.

Cons:Entire facility needs an update. Our queen studio was a Murphy bed with unremarkable decor. Everything was outdated.
Pros:Location was great. Clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but had charm.

Pros:The price was excellent, the beds were surprisingly comfy. The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating and since it was the slow season, they let us check in early and check out late.
Cons:The building/furnishings were a little older and look it, and the windows needed a cleaning and the hall carpets seemed pretty dirty but we aren't too picky overall so that wouldn't stop us from staying in the future. The two biggest complaints I have are that the water was too soft in the bathrooms (it felt like I couldn't get my hands clean) and early on Saturday morning starting around 7, kids were running up and down the hallways for at least an hour - given the age of the building, it was very loud in our room and made for an unpleasant first morning of our vacation. We would have appreciated if the hotel staff had been more proactive about getting the kids to stop running around.
Pros:The value was great, and the staff was super friendly. While checking in, I accidentally left my phone on the desk, and the woman not only brought my phone up to our room, but the next morning another lady who had been on staff made sure that I had found it. They offered a continental breakfast on Sunday morning and had a gentleman come in and talk about all the things you could do in Boone, Banner Elk, and the surrounding areas. Very helpful and lots of information! Great place, and we would definitely stay again!
Cons:The bed for 2 people was a double bed, so it was a little small, and the room was a little warm (but they give you a box fan to use, so that wasn't too bad).
