Location is close to main historical sights of Beijing
None of staff speak English, so communication is a challenge
Staff went out of there way to help, even though we don't speak Chinese they tried their best to understand us and get us everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable too!
It is a little hard to find if you get a taxi here, as there is no road around it, directions on booking.com or there websote might be helpful. But the Chinese people are very friendly so we found it in the end
Big, comfortable, clean rooms with a nice bath tub. Great location! Close to shopping and many restaurants. A lot of sights are within walking distance or a short bus ride.
The hotel is tricky to find as it isn’t signposted and the map and business cards have a different name. We actually went into the hotel and thought we were in the wrong hotel to ask for directions. The rooms are modern but lack any sound proofing - each night and early morning there were children running up and down the corridors. The reception staff were not very friendly nor helpful. No maps, no guidance on the local area, no smiles. (However, the small tour desk outside the lobby was great and helped us book a tour to the wall). We went to look at the breakfast restaurant but it was quite unappealing. You can find a much better stay for this price!
The hotel is very well located, right in the middle of the market street but still very quiet and peaceful. Nice and clean rooms and WIFI works well.
The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Air conditioning system worked wonderfully. And the tour company within the hotel was very helpful. It was only a 5 min walk to station and seconds away from great food.
I didn’t like the 500 yuan deposit. But it was returned no problem, so that was okay.
