The history/Chestnut walls/acreage/staff/windows/comfy bed/lots of room in B & B/good food/antiques Everything was great except that someone arranging for something to do with seafood woke us up directly under our window at 6:30 am
Lovely old, very old house set back in the trees. Our room had windows all the way around two sides. Nice view of the yard and trees. Lots of cool air. Breakfast was local strawberries, eggs with cheese and herbs and a fabulous cream cheese pastry roll The house was built in the 1800's. The updating to include a bath in the room has reduced the size of the room. It was comfortable, but a bit small.
The hotel was conveniently located about 15-20 minutes from Asheville. It reflects all of the quintessential elements of 1800s charm, and visitors will instantly be transported to another era. The grounds are beautiful as well. It was a great anniversary! It did not bother my husband and me, but this BnB did not have air conditioning, which might an inconvenience to some. The breakfast, although delicious, was a bit small. Overall, not many downfalls.
It was very old, not a good neighborhood, no good eating places close. Lighting terrible. Needs a lot of work.
The tub in the middle of the room. Innkeeper. Bed and mattress... not suitable for making passionate love.
This was a quaint old bed and breakfast and was exactly what I was looking for. The grounds were beautiful. Everything was clean, and breakfast was great!
The Inn was very well keep and clean and the breakfast was very tasty. Don't be afraid of the sign that is old and in need of some paint.
The historical house was great to see inside. Very small room
