Hotel is in need of serious repairs. Carpets duct taped down in the hallways, stains on walls and ceilings, ricketly elevators. There was a persistant musky smell throughout. The room next to mine was having some kind of all night techno party. Tried called the front desk to complain, but the phones wouldn't go through. Moved rooms the second night; at least it was quiet. Had traveled to Boise on extremely short notice and I was trying to save a buck with my hotel stay. Next time, I'll spend the extra money.
Classic Red Lion. Ignored. Outdated. OLD. The staff is uninterested in the customer and poorly trained. My room had 5 burnt out light bulbs and moldy bathroom grout. I do not recommend it.
Pros. Bed was comfy and pool was nice.
Cons. They need to be very clear about their prices with KAYAK they charge me an extra $80 I wasn’t going to argue as it was 8 o’clock at night. The ice machine out by the pool didn’t work. Our TV was messing up. They don’t have a free continental breakfast you have to pay six dollars a person for it the carpet was tore up throughout the hallways one of the doors you couldn’t use the key card in at all and it was hard to put it in the door to get into your room the guy walked by and said don’t you love that I’ve been here a month for work and I always have that problem. I will never stay at a red lion ever again in any state.
