When I went to go pick up the seven seat van they didn’t have it. All they could offer me is a six seat Jeep. As I was driving it, I noticed how dirty it was. There was white sticky in the center console. I got about two miles away and the windshield wiper fluid light came on. I filled it up and the next day on the road the light came on again. It also would only spray out the passenger side. The man helping me at Enterprise was nice and did his best to help me when I picked up the car but it was a pretty bum deal overall.

At the counter it was great. I had to call customer service; however, and it was terrible. I had to repeat all my information to an automated service and then again twice to customer service. Please, please, please bring you customer care call centers back to the United States. I worked for Tmobile and Americans want to speak to Americans. I was so mad by the end of the call I don't know if I will rent with Budget again.

Pros:

Alison was professional and helpful. I wish her computers were running faster! The software was taking a while to load yet she wasn’t getting frustrated. She was quick on her feet and started to boot up another computer. Easy drop off, overall smooth process. Thanks!

Cons:

The inside of the vehicle could have been sprayed out/ cleaned a little better. There was caked on dirt in the trunk area and dog hair in the back seat. Overall staff was great and accommodating.

Cons:

I’ll never use a discount car rental again. I saved $5, but my trip was canceled due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Since I saved $5 on the discounted price, I was not refundable and they would not allow me to change the rental to a future date. Horrible customer service. Stay away!

I tried too cancel well in advance, and kept trying all the way up to departure date, due to Kovid 14-day quarantine in Idaho. They refused (both Thrifty and their booking broker. Never again.

The Dollar people were going to charge us another $13 a day for an added driver. That was not in the agreement.

Pros:

The rental didn’t even happen because even though we called their corporate customer service and had the pickup time changed the number they had for the local office at the Boise airport was disconnected and turns out their office closes at 5 pm and they don’t offer any sort of after hours pick up.

Cons:

Everything. Their customer service is non existent.

Cons:

Information on Debit card use. There was no indication that before a 24 hour reservation a debit card could not be used. Then the rules with a debit card are absurd.
