Pros: The hotel was in a great location with 3 awesome restaurants nearby rather than doing the main town restaurants. (Service, quality of food and pricing were all great at Gradelle, pizza navoni and Ranc).
The rooms were equipped with mini fridges and a balcony which made it very easy to enjoy some afternoons and evenings enjoying the beautiful patio and pool.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and we were really happy we chose it because of the included breakfast and pool.
Easy parking, not many steps and elevator access in the hotel.
Hotel room safe, hair dryer and several electrical outlets were also added benefits.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast was not great.
The bed sheets were very small and there was no quilt/comforter so we had to use the spare blankets in the closet which I hate doing while travelling or just hope that those are always washed too.
The guests before us on our balcony broke a glass and there were shards everywhere which I had to clean up. No one came by to sweep it to make sure everything was safe so I just never went on the balcony or patio without flip flops.
Minor complaints because everything else was perfect.
Hotel Kastil is situated in the city square filled with tourists, music and fun. It was a little too noisy when we were ready to sleep for the night, around midnight...but not a huge issue at all. We really enjoyed the 10-15 minute walk along the pedestrian boulevard to the famous Zlatni Rat beach.
Pros: I liked the charm and history of this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and provided us a room for a 2nd night stay which was not in the plans. Lovely complimentary breakfast....eat on the patio....it is very welcoming with its view,
Pros: Lovely hotel in the countryside very good if you want to get away from it all and relax. Very quiet, the rooms are nice too.
Cons: Taxis on Brac Island are expensive so do not stay here if you want to go into Bol every day and havent hired a car. It will cost you about £45 a day there and back! We asked for a double room but it was 2 single beds pushed together. No air con in the rooms.
