Near to the beach and macchia della magona for walking and so on... situated near a bar (in the hotel nina)
Wonderful location very close to a large sandy beach. Small but cozy room with beautiful terrace wrapped up in jasmine. Pleasant restaurant on the beach. Good value for money.
This location is great for its proximity to the pine forest and beach. The standard of accomodation was good. The Satellite TV had no english channel, which would have been nice.
It is near the beach and a short drive to many places The loudness of music at the swimmingpool and again loudness of music at dinner (worse). The restaurant was adequate but the service there was not good
the appartament was big enough, with air condition, kitchinette. Clearness was good. The beach is really approx 800 m from the hotel La Cecinella is a complex for rather organized touristics, with disco for the kids, shop, restaurant, animation etc. Somebody likes this sort of accommodation, somebody does not.
Breakfast was good, The doors were locked when we got there and had to go to their other hotel to get assistance. Back doors not accessable and had to walk around the entire bldg to get to the front door with suitcases... not good
Close to shopping area and a good parking lot. Receptionist tried her best to help us. Would be a nice thing to have a computer with internet for guest use, even with a reaqsonable fee.
Nice rooms. Clean and quiet Hotel. The quality of the reception is very variable. We were welcomed in the evening by a very competent staff, but quiet unfriendly receptionist on leaving the next morning. It is unexpected and disapointing for a hotel that is supposed to be a 4 stars hotel.
Good location. New hotel. Nice deck with a view of the ocean. Limited restaurant choices. Very hard bed.
We went for the beach but bad weather and the helpful staff sent us to the countryside and citys around the beachside.
It is a village hotel with shops, vine/coffee bars, laundry, etc. Situated closed to the sea in a picturesque small place. We had a room with a great view to the pool, big enough for 2 people. Big parking place, car is a plus to explore the region. Have stayed for 2 nights. NO
We stayed in this hotel for 10 days in September. Very good location near the sea (7 min.) in a pine wood. There are different shops on the territory, like enoteca, icecream, bakery and etc. For breakfast you can have coffee, but you have to order it. Very cold water in the pool. Umbrella and lounges on the beach are for extra money.
Modern well appointed hotel with spacious rooms in a quiet location very near to the sea. Friendly staff and good value.
Out of season very quiet town, 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach, very friendly service, dog friendly rooms on ground floor with patio! Restaurant a bit too expensive, much better food at more reasonable prices at restaurants nearby.
It was a quite comfortable hotel, but unfortunately without Wi-Fi Internet in the room. There was not Free Wi-Fi Internet acess in the room.
Great hotel one block from the beach and right in the center of all the action in Cecina on the tuscany coast.
Very close to the see, very kind staff, restaurant within the hotel. Single rooms face the main road that was a bit noisy! The room is a bit tight. Choose rather a double room for single use! WLAN is available at lower storeys while the nice view is available form upper storeys - you have to choose what you prefer :)
really close to the see. park place is provided for your car. nice balcony with view on the see.
it was in a nice town and area no
Location, room, cleanliness, friendly hotel staff at times hotel staff is friendly but somewhat helpless
location close to beach, waterfront. Convenience of restaurant on premises, lovely breakfast, large balcony--a pleasant surprise rooms with balcony are very small
Good food and very pleasant staff. Not all facilities available on Sunday.
Good location Pizzas were runnt lol Twin beds not double !!
The central location
The hotel is run by a very nice family, who are keen on to please their guests. Cleaning staff was not very polite.
We just loved our 4 night stay in this hotel. The family that is running the hotel works really hard and they are all very friendly. Everything was just perfect. The hotel provides free bycicles, so we were taking bikes right after breakfast (very good one!) and riding about 1-1.5km along the seashore to a great public sand beach next to stone pier. It was a great place for snorkling with a lot of fish to see. There is like 8+ km long pine forest with bycicle road along the seashore to the south from Cecine Mare, so we were riding there during the hottest hours. We had a car (free parking on the nearby streets) and made a few trips around. We found supermarket LIDL offers really low prices (0.45EUR per beer ftw) and rock beach to the north
owner and front desk staff and cleaning staff, cleanliness, location close to facilities poor parking, regimented breakfast, awful orange juice and coffee, being placed on table with others even when many free tables, being woken at 9am with a knock and entry to room
Its less than 5min walk to the beech basic hotel no internet access without laptop
This is a very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with large balconies.. Sympathetic little garden. Jacuzzi. Good breakfast. Near the sea. And very friendly staff.
The spa facilities were very impressive I did not agree with the star rating of 5.
very good service , beautiful sea, beach, talasso spa restaurant is very poor
Great sea view, free secure parking, nice private beach/pool, elegant lobby, eveing piano player and nice breakfast and patio dining. Use of spa 35E per person per day extra not stated on website, cracked paint, ratty patio furniture, no free internet, didn't enforce rule about hanging clothes on patio, only one wooden chair in room, garden needed more attention. They need attention to details not a good value.
Fantastic breakfast, very nice room and atmosphere of the hotel, the pool with sea-water. I had a 2-year old kid with me and there was nothing for her to do. Luckily, there was a entertainment park near the hotel and some playground attributes at the beach.
Relais Sant'Elena is the best place to stay if you plan to visit Maremma / Bolgheri. This is a beautiful property with the highest level of service you will find anywhere. Great breakfast as well.
Our guest liaison was extremely helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The overall presentation of this hotel was superb, only opened July 2008! The breakfast is quite unique with the attention to detail quite outstanding. The in-room brochure clearly puts across the feeling that this hotel is to be relaxed in and enjoyed and that it provides a peaceful environment to be had by all guests, they even state 'silent periods' at set times throughout the day. Our first evening was ruined by other guests arriving at 2.30 in the morning who were clearly drunk and made an horrendous noise for the remainder of the night, the hard stone flooring meant that as a guest on the lower floor we heard every single footstep made throughout the night, we had to listen to other guests going to toilet then flushing, and then to top it off to have listen to people having sex. The design of this newly built accommodation has not been thought through. We were told that there were no other rooms available so we could not move and had to endure a second night of disruption. Clearly not a relaxing stay. There is no restaurant at this hotel which I cannot understand why because they have such a stunning breakfast room and they provide a wonderful breakfast that I am sure guests would be delighted to eat there in the evening, the closest decent restaurant is in Casale Maritimo.
The hotel was fine but we just thought that it was not the best value for money. We had the deluxe double room which was overpriced for what it was, the breakfast was ok.....nothing particularly special......basically, we felt that the hotel did not reflect the price accurately
The views are stunning, the area is breathtaking, the facilities are splendid, the food is delicious - it is the perfect place for a weekend break in Tuscany!
Very tasteful design and decorations with excellent materials and fabrics. Excellent breakfast. More isolated than I had imagined. There was hardly any grass on the lawns which may have been due to the dry weather in July. It was not possible to use the pool for a morning swim due to cleaning procedure.
The best hotelI've ever stayed (never thought I would wrote this :).Very stylish, soothing and beautiful - a perfect sense of quiet home. Because the hotel was located a bit outside of Bibbona, the car-navigator had difficulties in finding it - but one call to reception gave us detailed driving instructions.
stunning hotel with lovingly decorated rooms and excellent breakfast in a quiet surrounding
Breakfast, Pool, View, Calm Shower Curtains need improvement
This was a very special place. the owner ,moira and her helper, daniela were just as sweet and helpful as anyone could want. the room was lovely, nice bath facilities, tv, view of mountains and mountain top town. I would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful spot to relax and be in the center of the bolgheri wine country. It was too short
staff excellent, breakfast good, location to wine area excellent location is remote,no dinner available
Ca Na Do is kept very nice with beach, greenery, trees, pool... Thanks for all the staff for keeping the area so nice. Also the shuttle brings us in the hotel is definitely a journey, feels like go into the jungle especially in the evening. Rooms are equiped with kitchen and balcony which is a value. The weekend we stay, the hotel is occupied by groups of American tourists, restaurant is full on everyday we stay, then we are not able to book for dinner. Bed is not very comfortable but overall cleaniness is quite well.
Our visit was at outside the main season (end of May) and thus it was very quiet. 1) The final price does not correspond to the price mentioned by booking.com.In the end, there is an extra fee for e.g. parc services which doubles the total price. It was an unpleasant arrival. 2) Although the parc is worth the stay and nicely located at sea and beach, it is not the best starting point for daily trips into the rest of Tuscany.
Excellent value for money & free bike hire Limited choice in restaurant & extremely rude waiter
The price was decent compared to any other location we had found near Pisa. The room was comfortable and plenty of parking. It was somewhat remote too which meant it was quiet. The staff didn't speak any English at all which meant it was somewhat awkward to explain things to them like "we would like a reciept for the money we just paid to prove we paid it when we check out" or "The fridge in our room doesn't work". Also the rooms had a somewhat overpoweringly stuffy smell.
It was comfortable, very clean, nice staff. Great swimming after a hot day of driving of touring. A/c was ok, not great - kids room was cooler.
It was a convenient hotel to stay for two nights on the coast during our two weeks touring in Tuscany Rather small inconvient bathroom but not a major issue.
Hotel was relaxing, rooms were spacious and furnished well. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of food. No restaurant available in the evenings, therefore had to drive into nearest town - but only 10 minutes.
